I haven't seen any Gamblig Platform who used Telegram for Promotions, most I know is that they use Discord.
Do you have any Idea why they don't have any Telegram Communities? and why does it seem they don't use this platform for their promotions?

If it's about communication most of the gambling sites already have a chat board of their own and they have a very active discussion thread telegram is very popular on Cryptocurrency but there are also a lot of scammers and spammers here in the telegram, the admin of the telegram channel will not want to see a user bearing the name of the coin he is promoting, because some bounty hunters are using he name of the project they promote as part of bounty campaign.

Telegram is full of spam mostly with forwarded messages so it may take more effort for the moderators to keep the chat on topic.Where as Discord it offers lot of features which isn't available in telegram.

on telegram you can make a channel that is not chat enabled , its seperate from a channel where you can chat to ask question.  that is to avoid spam , they make one of that only for announcements of thier new promotions and site changes like what other gambling sites did . they have discord channel/group as well for those that dont use telegram  .

the one that i know that have active telegeram promotion is windice  . the site was also promoted on social media and on emails not just on telegram  .

In my experience as a Mod, it doesn't take too much effort to handle all the spams especially if you have a bot under your group, the only thing that gives you a hard time is when you're flooded with complaints or repeated questions, besides as I see from the users in Telegram they don't bother reading pinned posts as well as the faqs that has been made available by the certain company

They knew that there are high tendencies for prospective customers to avoid visiting it due to the bad impression. Its image are already tarnished thus promoters find a better and cleaner place (which is Discord in this case) to promote their platform. Yes it is possible to clear the spams but the real difference os every thing about the promotion,casino, questions, promotions,etc will be on the single channel but on a discord you can create different threads for each so it will diverse lot of things and spams into one general chat sections so promotion may not be affected.

Absolutely, lots of scammers in telegram now, it's not a good platform for a gambling group. I think most sites already have a chat option, that would already make people enjoy chatting while gambling so telegram is not necessary anymore IMO.

You have a point, the scam associated with telegram made it not be use by most gambling companies, we all know what is going on with that social media, a place where anyone can be impersonated without action on the part of the social media. Discord is known with it decent environment and with less scam becasue scammers has already infiltrated the social media too. Discord is more well organize than that of telegram IMO.

Gamblers are more comfortable chatting in the internal chatting channel while playing because the username in the gambling site and on the chat channel are the same, and some gambling sites do not need outside channel this is to avoid confusion they can easily trace the account of the username on their platform.

Yes i see that roobet has a telegram channel and its really good with 10k subs,for me telegram is much better i dont know why,and better looking then discord.
But more users prefer discord for some reason,i personally use telegram for my projects and businesses.

I don't know why most casinos prefer Discord to Telegram, but for the big Poker Casino I know that it's much easier for them to provide support for players. It's similar to the live chat help on casino website, but they can pin and highlight messages much easier. With Discord there is the way to make many different sub channels. So managing a lot of different users is fairly easy on discord with only 1-2 community managers. I am not sure about telegram and how you can manage a lot of people there.

For a reason that its easy to pretend to be an admin using telegram channel . if they ask for a problem there are scammer that will pretending to help you but they are on copying the name of the real admin which in the end will ask you to deposit money.

For discord most gamers using discord so for me its better to use that  than in telegram and its hard to fake your I'd there because its not that easy to create an acoount unlike in telegram that you can easily make many account any time you want.

While Telegram and Discord seem equally popular by the number of users, it's not hard to see that Telegram users are largely people from former Soviet Union (and there's also a strong Indian community and Arabic-speaking community, I guess). These don't happen to be the places with the most active gamblers. Discord, on the other hand, is most popular in the US with Western European countries being close runner-ups. So the languages and the geography is quite different. Apart from this, Telegram tends to be a platform for personal communications and for politics (like the Belarusian protests relying largely on Telegram), while Discord, as has been pointed out, is a gamers' community. So I guess gambling is naturally closer to Discord than to Telegram by areas, users and usage.

Scammers are everywhere, even what messaging platform we are using. For me, if the reasons are about scammer why they don't use either of these two, it really not make sense.
Btw, the major advantage of discord for me is being organized, just like what @Bttzed03 said, in discord, you can create multiple rooms or channel within a discord channel.

They don't have telegram communities maybe because it's not effective to use this platform for their gambling promotions. And they use discord because most gamblers prefer to use it compare to the telegram.  I think these are one of the reason why they don't prefer Telegram.

With the current standing of Telegram and it seems they double down in not caring at all that they are a cesspool of scammers. Discord is not that saint but at the very least scams are not prevalent there. Discord is also a gaming chat room so they are a little more immerse than Telegram.

There are some advantages and disadvantages when it comes to both platforms. Ideally, announcements and updates come easy to Telegram because of the Channel Option, in which subscribers could easily view the new articles that have been published by their site. On the other hand, Discord is more organized to make multiple areas for different topics under one channel, with the capability of assigning more flexible administrative privileges, etc.

For the gambling community, I think it's best to be in Discord because they could just join one channel and be part of their interest. Maybe that game they like to play, etc.

Yeah I know, scammers are existing and can't be eradicate already in the cyber space. I also agree on the part where Discord is more user-friendly compared to Telegram, no doubt about it. I'm just trying to think other factors to be considered why it wasn't preferred by the majority and it just so happened that idea popped up on my mind .

If it doesn't make sense for you then I try to give another example. Hmm, if you will choose between Iphone and Huawei smartphones, what would you choose? Most probably you will go with the first one not only because it was more fancy, organized and complete but mainly because Huawei got an accusation of stealing our data. See? The reputation of a certain platfrom matters a lot. In all aspects, the least secured or let's say the most toxic places are least prioritized by the promoters of course.

It is simple because Discord offers features which are richer compared to Telegram.Personally I don’t use Discord and I love Telegram however Telegram is effective mostly in one to one communications or one to many at best.
Telegram has shown for the few casinos who started it that is not effective as they predicted and now almost all casinos use Discord.
