Telegram is full of spam mostly with forwarded messages so it may take more effort for the moderators to keep the chat on topic.Where as Discord it offers lot of features which isn't available in telegram.

Another reason I prefer Discord.

Discord also have these rooms, each room has their own topics to talk about that is why it is better since it is like this forum where you could talk about that kind of topic in a room. Each has their own voice room and even music room if you wanted to.

Telegram is a home for scams and whatnots that would probably prevent them from actually being a community, PLUS there are a LOT of people who don't know much about telegram, which makes them prone to actually being scammed by others, which one way or another, leads to the implication of the casinos those scammers impersonate. Add that to how much organized you can actually be with discord compared to telegram, anyone would clearly choose discord over telegram. Social media is also used although that's mostly for admins to actually put out announcements, compared to discord where the community can interact with each other.

I agree that more scammers use telegram than discord probably. Which doesn't mean that I didn't experience some scammers on Discord too. There are plenty of scammers looking for quick money in the betting and gambling world of esports skins. In particular in CSGO items there I have been approached by a lot of people - mostly via Steam first, but they instantly wan't to talk about a very special trade deal on Discord. In the end it's always a scam. No one is giving away free skins. In the beginning I used to play along just so the scammer would waste some time, and wasn't able to scam someone else. But after years with trading CSGO knifes it just got boring. I find it sad that there still so many scammers out there.

Because let's just say it's traditional way used for communication that's why many choose to have that options for communication purposes, but somehow maybe it's best to move on telegram promotions since I think it will be a waste of money. Wolf.bet had promotion on telegram and twitter. I don't see they run their twitter promotion for over a week or more, so maybe they stopped with telegram promotion too! I don't use telegram often, I agree with others who think that telegram is a real mess! Even thou I tried some promotions here and there, I don't remember I won some promo with cash prize. I am an active user of discord and I find it so comfortable using it compared to the telegram, discord has so many channels that you can use for discussion it is also good for the communication of every gamer, and besides there are many scammers that you may encounter on telegram but there are still some websites and projects that are still using telegram for promotion because there are still many users of that application.

As I can see, discord is more customizable than telegram, in addition, you can not just communicate in discord but also interact with the platform. I have seen some discord gambling casino group that has games inside of the discord. You can also run scripts on telegram but it doesn't fit the needs of a casino community of having different channels for every discussion. Imagine a casino having many games, each of the games should be supervised and maintained and that could be then more efficiently through discord compared to Telegram which is for me, more highly effective in building a project's community.

When you said "almost all", you mean the 90% of cryptocurrencies that are shitcoins? Who cares about them? I'm fairly certain gambling platforms don't target members of these telegram groups who are mostly composed of bounty hunters. In terms of promotions, I don't see a big difference as I saw both platforms are being used. I don't see an accurate stats yet wherein one is more effective over one and vice-versa so overall, our judgement is based on our own view.

But in terms of an organized community, Discord > Telegram as unlike in Telegram where all queries are discussed and mixed in a single group, Discord can create multiple channels out from a single server so that discussion is sorted out e.g there is a separate room for discussion, contest, etc. And might be a hassle for anybody or not comfortable when Telegram is asking mobile number in account creation.

I will disregard the scam thing in Telegram as promoters and marketers will target the audiences no matter how worst the platform as long as it has a big community and has lots of registered users.

When it comes to situation where scams and phishing is lot then telegram platform do have lots of it and i do barely see some issues with discord in issues like this.
Its not excluded to this matter but it is more rampant in telegram due to easy way on making account without any hiccups plus it is just light and not
too complicated when it comes to design.Well, people might have that perception or even to those gambling site owners thats why they dont really consider

I'm not that familiar on how Discord works because I'm more on Telegram and some gambling site also have their Telegram group but mostly I just follow them on Twitter since they also make announcement on their social accounts which can be a faster source of updates for them. Hunters don't have any choice but to follow their Social account or else they'll not be qualified for the bounty, New gambling sites are doing their best to have accounts on every social media platform.

Discord interface is user friendly and easily navigable and organized  channels  unlike telegram that have a single channel, in most cases in telegram gamblers usually ask same or similar questions which had already been answered several times by admin, the links to the answered questions has to be quoted again which sometimes causes distractions however in discord bot will the job conveniently and consistently without any problem.

Feature wise Discord has a lot to offer than Telegram, the admin of the channel can create a sub topic or category and he has full control and can restrict spammers, it started as a video gaming but now they are revising it to become an all purpose communication they have a new slogan "A place to talk" and revised their website, it's better than Telegram on many features.

I think there is also its just happen that most telegram promotions are done by Bot and people in telegram are used to that so they are not interested.
and also sad to say that majority of Telegram users are Bounty hunters and not typical gamblers so the target audience is not that achievable so this maybe the reasson why they are not focusing in TG platform.

Discord is more friendly and open, I much prefer to a few other platforms.   Telegram might be better for brief communication but discord is more of a community regular experience.  It could be as simple as custom emotes on discord which are possible, streaming video or sharing a screen is useful and totally simple.

Using discord is one of the best way to communicate to the people and they have features on discord that we don't see in telegram.
Discord now have different features and all you need is there so I think that's the reasons why the team of the gambling is using this platform to make a promotion about their gambling sites but the telegram is still good to use very helpful for us communicate with each other.
