Well, but at least we can expect a big boom in the price of ETH 2.0. You know, the price of Ethereum is controlled by the people. So if the people believe in this change and create a new hype, Ethereum price surely will surge strongly.

Innovations in Ethereum is needed day by day so that it becomes stronger everyday. And at some point in the future, we can witness the huge adoption of ethereum which turn out to be a revolution not just the economy itself but also the whole society. Maybe at the moment, usage of smart contract is opaque, but it does not mean we have to stop our development from creating new advantages for ethereum. You cannot predict what will happen, do you know that most of the updates will trigger the hype of a certain project therefore there is a big possibility that there will be an upcoming hype once Eth 2.0 will be launch.

ETH 2.0 wont really be the same with that forked coin ETC and even though you do see that theres no soo much impact into its price with ETH 2.0 but you dont know

ETH 2.0 is not a new coin, it is just eth, we are calling it 2.0 because there is going to be a big upgrade to eth itself, which is going to challenge a lot of problems eth is facing right now. Nothing has changed yet to ETH but its going to be updated and this update is gong to solve a lot of ETH problems in the past. I'm sure it will cost more than its ATH.

Even if we aren't to expect a big boom in eth 2.0, atleast, I personally, am expecting a big boom in the price of eth when eth 2.0 finally goes live.

Many people are still trying to buy ethereum as the price still at a low price and not going to increase so high. The news about staking ethereum attracts people to buy more and more to join with the staking event, and earn profit from that. We can hope that we will see a new ATH for ethereum because if that can happen, we will make a big profit as before. Yeah it's better not to expect since maybe there will be something wrong happen and our expectation will not came into reality but it's still good to look after on it since there's still possibilities that we can earn on it, provably it will bring hype and it's good to be open and buy in good position  to earn. There was already a boom on ethereum regarding the news on ETH2.0 in the middle of the year or something, news affects and one of the conditions responsible for price spike and fall of ethereum, bad news brings bearish market and good news bring bullish markets. However ETH 2.0 upon completion would actually bring big boom to the network and likewise brings more investors to ethereum smart contract.

You can't even put ETC in the same level as ethereum. So many times ETC has been getting 51% attack which is really annoying for anyone who has been supporting it. In ethereum, the next update will be focusing to provide a scalable chain with more complexity and various features that will give the holders a lot of advantages.

More than 100% increase happened with ethereum since the announcement of ethereum 2.0.

I don't put much faith in Ethereum's technologies when they were made for a short-term purpose. Consequently, the current transaction costs are pushed too high along with the difficulty in blockchain expansion as well as DAPP development on the Solidity complex. We cannot 100% know what will happen to ETH 2.0 and its price. The price of Ethereum itself is important to me. Of course, there are a number of factors that slow down the growth of the price of ETH, but all this can change at any moment and the price can fly to the moon. Now the main thing is to see the goal and go towards it. As for me, ETH 2.0 seems to be supposed to solve the problem with the load on the network, if this is the case and this happens, then all this will probably have a positive effect on the price of at least ETH itself.

1. there is a locking period for the ethereum that already deposited into the POS staking wallet. You can't get back your ethereum until ethereum update 1.5 (1 year probably)

Dude, didn't you read the roadmap of ethereum 2.0 properly? It clearly says that if the sharding solution will not come together with the ethereum 2.0 first update.
it will be coming in the next update or maybe the last phases of ethereum 2.0
I hope you can go to the ethereum's site and read all of the roadmap properly. Ethereum core developers have explained it properly.

I should have read this thread before man, I have a wrong interpretation about this 2.0 version of Ethereum in which i thought that Staking will be the one factor for ETH to increase more amount.
The good thing is i Kept my ETH from the fall early this year and did not Purchase new sets for this event.

In Phase 0, the beacon chain was activated and PoS was implemented, but Ethereum PoW will still work. The beacon chain is just the beginning of Ethereum 2.0 and will not handle transactions, execute smart contracts or host dapps. Ethereum's congestion problems will be addressed from Phase 1, where shard chains, which are the scalability solution for the network, will be implemented.

That needs a process to migrate ethereum 1.0 to the 2.0
as far as i know if POW will always work. I heard that about the possibility for ethereum 2.0 to be a hybrid consensus which mean POW will still work while it will be running with the POS consensus at the same time but this is not yet confirmed by the ethereum core developers.
I see that CMC has been writing total supply of ether and idk whether that's true or not.

People are not taking it from the yearly low price and they were taking it from the ATH as the comparison to the current price. They didn't realize if the price already 2x from the yearly bottom price that achieved by ethereum in march. Those who have bought ethereum when the price was around $250 or a bit more should be feeling with the current price of ethereum.
I doubt the big boom will happen again. This time ethereum doesn't seem to follow bitcoin.
