Well, but at least we can expect a big boom in the price of ETH 2.0. You know, the price of Ethereum is controlled by the people. So if the people believe in this change and create a new hype, Ethereum price surely will surge strongly.

Innovations in Ethereum is needed day by day so that it becomes stronger everyday. And at some point in the future, we can witness the huge adoption of ethereum which turn out to be a revolution not just the economy itself but also the whole society. Maybe at the moment, usage of smart contract is opaque, but it does not mean we have to stop our development from creating new advantages for ethereum. If you are a crypto enthusiast, just support ethereum with all of your efforts

You cannot predict what will happen, do you know that most of the updates will trigger the hype of a certain project therefore there is a big possibility that there will be an upcoming hype once Eth 2.0 will be launch.

Though this is only my expectations as this is what I saw to most of the increase of a certain project, though you should still invest wisely either you will ride the flow or you will follow your own instinct. But as long as you will profit in the end, none of this will matter.

if ETH 2.0 can bring gas prices consistently within 5-10 gwei, the activity on ETH network will grow exponentially which almost certainly has a bullish effect on price.

It's been too long since they announced the possible launch of ETH 2.0 been in the news and were still thinking when will be really used and said to start, due to defi hype we were able to  see how the fees and Slow transactions happen that's why even its just not beneficial for others many will still be able to appreciate it. ETH 2.0 wont really be the same with that forked coin ETC and even though you do see that theres no soo much impact into its price with ETH 2.0 but you dont know
on what can hype will eventually do when it comes to price increase.It can made to shoot up to the moon where everyone is been mainly talking about this.
For total relevance then it might not really be that a big shift and this will all matter on how they do market it out or making some hype to drive the prize
into crazy levels. Never expect any big boom? You cant tell because if you do miss it out that will surely leave you in regrets.

The staking will make a lot of holders and investors would want to have that passive income. I think there will be an effect of rise and probably big boom. But you are right too, that it's better not to expect a lot from the prices.

ETH 2.0 is not a new coin, it is just eth, we are calling it 2.0 because there is going to be a big upgrade to eth itself, which is going to challenge a lot of problems eth is facing right now. Plus we are going to have a proof of stake instead of proof of work as well which will make a ton of miners useless and a lot of rich people even richer, you won't need equipment, you just need money to buy eth and you will be ready.

So, I would say best way to go with expecting 2.0 would be to understand what you are waiting, if you are waiting for something that doesn't really exist outside of your mind, that means you can't get what is coming in reality neither. Read and learn what 2.0 is all about and I am sure you will love it too, it is good for everyone except miners.

I disagree on your point, ETH2.0 isn't only about transactions like you claim, the platform is switching to proof of stake and that's new, many whales are waiting for this opportunity, many prefer staking over mining, I don't expect Ethereum to spike up to 2000$ with this but believe me Ethereum will get better

We have our different point of view on that matter, i admit that im expecting a big pump on ethereums price once the 2.0 version is launch.  I dont know why some people give some negatuve feedbacks on eth 2.0.

the inflation of eth will go down after eth 2.0.
now yearly 5m eth mining and all of this cause price down or make big sell orders.
after eth 2.0 this amount will be 100k/year.
and this will cause of rising of price I think.

Its the most anticipated to happen that the ETH2.0 will be an explosion actually. This is why the rest of the investors ares buying just to stake 32 ETH to profit. It will likely go up still if proven the anticipating is true.

Nothing has changed yet to ETH but its going to be updated and this update is gong to solve a lot of ETH problems in the past. I'm sure it will cost more than its ATH.

Even if we aren't to expect a big boom in eth 2.0, atleast, I personally, am expecting a big boom in the price of eth when eth 2.0 finally goes live.
And am also expecting many new projects to spring up on Ethereum when eth 2.0 gets launched, big things are coming to Ethereum and I advice you get now that it's still very early, eth will explode with the launch of eth 2.0 and theres no doubt about that.
I believe so much in Ethereum and I know it will make us all proud.

For me i am optimistic that the lauching of eth 2.0 will bring the price of thereum to go up even some people will say that eth 2.0 is still not enough to drive  ethereum price to go up.

Many people expect to see a big boom in ethereum 2.0, although we don't know if that will make really any boom for that. Many people are still trying to buy ethereum as the price still at a low price and not going to increase so high. The news about staking ethereum attracts people to buy more and more to join with the staking event, and earn profit from that. Who knows, before the update news release, the price will start increase, especially after bitcoin can break $14k. We can hope that we will see a new ATH for ethereum because if that can happen, we will make a big profit as before. But before that is happening, we can prepare to buy more ethereum if we want to join with the stake and sell some ethereum at a new high price.

Yeah it's better not to expect since maybe there will be something wrong happen and our expectation will not came into reality but it's still good to look after on it since there's still possibilities that we can earn on it, provably it will bring hype and it's good to be open and buy in good position  to earn. But also don't only look with the downside since I'm sure you are just worried about the future so best to ride with the flow and just make sure you will not left bag holding some if the hype fades away brought by 2.0.
