There is adoption and then there is adoption. When regular people start to use crypto a lot more, more newbies come in, that does help crypto world and I am happy with it, however there is a bigger step compared to that which is big companies going in, places like grayscale and microstrategy and many more coming into bitcoin with a lot of money helps us even bigger and that type of adoption increases the price even more, however there is one bigger step even higher than that which is governments start dealing with crypto, no matter how big you are, you can never be like a government and at that point its inevitable that crypto becomes huge in that nation.

This is why whenever there is any sort of adoption by any government into crypto, I feel giddy and optimistic about our future.

There is very little information and I do not understand what the Reserve Bank of Australia will do.
Will the bank use a private blockchain based on Ethereum technology or will they issue tokens and users will pay huge fees?
Each bank will release its CBDCs on the blockchain they like, and then how will they interact with each other?

This news is true. You can also check it on the various legit sites to make sure if that was coming from the institution itself. Some people have already confirmed that and I can say that this one is legit news.
I will not expect the press will be making such a piece of fake news. The site will never try to destroy its reputation.

This is no news as the ethereum Blockchain is one of the best (if not the best) currently out there in the space and no wonder every new firm or project coming into the industry is making use of the blockchain. if happens for eth and btc yes because both coins are like the nervous system of the whole crypto but if happens that those banks only support non major coins i wouldnt think that it would still benefit the other .

what can only bemefit the most are the founder and the hodler of the coin and once those banks drop this support , poof there will be no more but if banks let say accept and drop the support for major coins , that will still have a steady effect .

That will be a very interesting thing but honestly I doubt about that as the scalability of ethereum will become the main problem that will prevent this massive adoption.
If CBDC will be successfully built on ethereum platform and I think more parties will be also using ethereum to create more CBDC.

I think that many Central banks will use the Ethereum blockchain, which has already passed the test of time, as the basis for creating their national digital currencies.
