Nope, I think you just made a wrong perception against winning in a lottery. We all know that winning lottery is very lucky to achieve it.

The one that I think was wrong here is the discipline against the people around that may able to distruct your ways of spending getting influence by them. Well, what I think is that whenever I win a lottery or jackpot then what comes to my mind is to invest building asset like apartmebt for rent or real estate property businesses.

People who make such a large amount of money in a short period of time often do not know how to handle their wealth and end up squandering it. It is not an uncommon situation. There is even a TV show called 'How The Lottery Ruined My Life'.

Everything else would be something easy to stop, I am not going to change the person I am just because I got money, and almost half of that money doesn't really require you to change your life neither.

Anything until 10 million dollars would be good enough money to have 3 lines of generations live comfortably if you are careful with your investments but it will not become money that would be world changing for everyone, it would easy life but it wouldn't be spend it on everything you find type of life, you have to still live a proper sane but above middle class life, your biggest expense could be a house and even that takes up a huge chunk of your money. Above that would be silly to earn that is for sure but I don't know what would happen in that case. Family and friends are the only trouble here, that sounds like a real problem.

They dont care on what are the global problems that we are experiencing now and what matter most here is on how they do seek of entertainment without minding
on how much money they would spend.Its none of their business to care about those who are poor into other people or do even think about opportunities or being on the lucky side.
Talking on lottery winners then we do have that mindset that this money had been attained on easy manner then most likely it would really be spend on fast manner
without minding on making some business or investment.Its up to our own choice though because our future situation will just reflect on what are the things that

Moving forward, those who are saying if only those winners do.. 1, 2, 3 or etc. are not making sense. Why should we care about how they used their money during their luxury days. If they become wrecked so be it.

If I'm going to win a jackpot I wouldn't tell anyone about it maybe just my very close family member since if the whole family knew about it I'm pretty sure they will all come to you begging for money. Well it's not bad to give but if you know that it might affect your winnings or might think you were abused by some begging I think you should stop and start to plan what you should do with the money.

You would really go crazy if one day you do wake up where you dont have money left into your pocket due to lots of unwise spendings and didnt handle that money well.
If you do have that kind of mindset where you do continue to spend since you are rich or does have money then later on you would realize on whats the important of it

Instead of looking for  ways to invest their money to continue having a better life, those people who have given a chance mostly failed.

Like what you've said, very common mistake is being overspending, that mindset that the money came from easy gain are also easy to spent, the value has been forgotten believing that they can do things over again.

Most of us are also hoping to have that same luck, it's a once in life time opportunities better
to learn from those mistakes by people who have that privileges.

That is why people who don't know how to handle properly will lose big opportunities, whenever you earn a huge amount of money, you should use it for some worthy things, you may do investing, or making a business, even those both things are risky, this is still advisable because you can make your money increase by doing that. I really feel bad for those guys but if they're just sick of money then so be it, crazy rich kids doesn't know what to do with their money.

As I'm reading the post, I'm thinking too that these things might happen to myself too whenever I win in a lottery.
Aside from these bad happenings coming from some of the lottery winners, there are some winners too that end up a positive too.

This is the problem when you are betting in a lottery and suddenly you won a huge amount. You will be overwhelmed that you don't know where to put your money into. I think it would be better to keep your winnings as a secret. Don't say it to anybody including family members since they can leech your money until the last cent of it or just don't bet on lottery at all in order for you not to experience things like this that may end up your life being miserable.

Not all of these examples are bad. Trust fund is a good idea, donating money to a serious cause is also something that deserves appreciation. As for the family, I think I'd share some money with the closest relatives, but giving it all to people with their loans does not make sense. I'd buy a flat (I'm currently renting, I don't have my own apartment) and maybe one more for lease, save about 10% of the money for studying and travelling, put about 50% into a scholarship for bright students from my country who are admitted to top universities abroad and require small additional financial assistance to go there (I was in this situation, so I want to help out those who'd also be in it), give about 30% to my relatives who could use this money. This is a plan for about $1 million. If it's more than that, I'd spend the first million as mentioned above, and put the rest of the money into opening a good private university in my country (with scholarships for the smartest and those who need them most, of course). I don't want to be rich per se, so in case I get lots of money, I want to spend it on something that matters (for me it's education).

Well, I said in my post that we could learn something from them too. I do agree that they did good with some of their money but the tragedy and misery that follow except for the Canadian outweighs the good things that they did to their winnings. In my opinion, I will not help anyone at first because it will be a slippery slope, I would first organize the money and then allot some of it to what is essential for me, then give 30% of the remaining to charity and family and closest friends, I do not care if they call me greedy, where were they when I was in need.

I believe there are people who have actually used their big lottery wins well. I have one as relation(actually an uncle)...*it wasn't from the regular lottery we are used to though.
So, the Tv program producers could as well balance their programs by featuring those who use the lottery prizes well so others can learn from them.
