Yeah, I do feel involved in this bet with this kind of money they put into. It feels like I would personally lose a lot of money just by thinking of this man's bet. I do not personally care whoever wins between Trump or Biden, But I would like to know as soon as possible whoever would win. Cause I wanna take part of this hype. His bet aside, Whoever bet at the other end must have gotten in the same situation, no matter how big their bet is, they would still feel the intimidation of someone betting this big.

I will look for the result of this election, that is a really huge amount of bet, I wonder how he got that confident to bet $5million for this election, I am hoping that there is no source from anyone about the winner of the election. I can't imagine myself spending a huge amount of money on betting, even though I will have a huge amount of money in the future, I won't take $5million to risk.

It is really a huge bet and it looks like he will lose his $5M.  I don't think that it will be a devastating loss for that gambler, but it is really unbelievable. I would never make a bet like this even I become a billionaire. Because there will be no reason for me to bet with even a small amount then.

I have won some Italian politics gambling in the past. It was easy with discrete odds (up to @2.80)

Right. Even losing the said amount, I think that gambler will soon move on. That gambler won't just insanely bet that crazy amount if he doesn't understand that there's might a chance he will lose it. He accepts that and considers that as a loss already to minimize the pain of losing.

We can't understand his feelings since we don't have the guts to even bet at $1,000 at minimum.

and based from the article, he wen all-in. so i dont know what exactly they mean about that. "all-in" of his funds or what? because if he bet all his savings, dont think he will be sleeping in the next few days. but wishing that he will win in some miraculously circumstances.

I would not call him crazy but he is on the borderline of being crazy. I mean, betting $5 million dollars for a political election bet. He could have divided his bet in huge amounts! Regardless of the results of the election, I just wish the best for him.

I guess you misplaced "not" as it's a really huge amount of bet. And the article says that this is the biggest bet for politics ever been recorded. There could be some underground or any sort of rich people's club that are gambling like this but it's for the record the biggest.

The election hasn't ended yet, the 270 votes haven't met by Biden but as we see, the chance of winning the bet is at the lowest.
