Until the official inauguration of the 46th U.S. President takes place, I would not risk asserting with certainty which of them won in the end. Bookmakers need to be doubly careful not to face lawsuits later. This year, the U.S. faced a big problem. Let's see who will be the winner in the end.

This makes sense to seal the bet. Wait for the inaugural even it will take time and even there are no changes at all on the election result.

The previous elections can't be compared to the recent election wherein the other party aggressively wants an investigation on the election fraud matter so the decision is crucial. I know Biden is the winner but it's good to see him first being declared as the President of the United States.

After the inauguration, then time now to move on.

but we must admit that Trump's chances are extremely low and some bookmakers already made paymets for users who made their bets on Baiden...
even if its so low upto 1% it's still considerable, we might not know what will happen next, besides even if the odds are on with Biden we still know that there are many people who still believes on Trump.

I wonder what will be the outcome of this re-counts, though even I has a slightest doubt of having this an excuse to.make changes in the gap between votes.

If the stakes are high, some will really not pay these bettors up until there is official proclamation of the President. Though it is clearly, Biden wins here but we don't know if there are still cards hidden that may overturn this event. Really interesting if there will be some miracle that will change the results of this event.
OK but who will make this "official proclamation"? Only Trump and Biden could do that AFAIK, and if Trump doesn't accept his defeat bettors will need to wait several months or even years for court decisions from different states  Undecided

Here's a good article for that.

Who formally declares the winner of the US presidential election?

We can also check on the popular giant media for the declaration as they are more reliable, and until now I haven't seen a new stating that Biden was the winner already as he was not really declared yet.

I have always believed that as long as there is no official recognition, officially signed documents and procedures carried out on the basis of the law, one cannot jump to conclusions. Especially, you should not do it when it comes not to ordinary conversations but to betting on money. May the one who was really chosen honestly win.

~snip~

now I'm curious about this guys who made this bet after Biden successfully taken the seat.
I wonder if he's still gambling for some random politics sh*ts.

Nah, I guess he still regrets that. But he could still gamble for another politics Grin

That is gambling. Gambling can lead someone to bet more than he can. If that person can take the loss before, he will still gamble for another game. If he still has a passion for gambling on politics, he will search for another political gambling.

But after losing that huge money will not easy, no matter if he has a lot of money or not. But that bet will be on his memory for a long time.

Yes, what you’re saying is very true.
Before he gambled with a bet of that size, previously there must have been many other gambling in his life history.
And there will be more gambling, even if he has lost a lot. A gambling enthusiast won’t care how much he loses money, he’ll keep gambling.
Sometimes gambling will also remove fatigue from the daily busyness that he has been through.

I guess that too because if he is only playing gambling in his free time, he will not use a too big amount of money because he will be aware of losing the money if he is playing gambling too long. But as we know that he uses too big funds to gamble in the politics section, that could be mean that he was an active gambler.

But we never know for sure.

Yes, a gambling enthusiast won't care and won't stop gambling before filling his satisfaction in gambling. I thought that he needs to control his gambling habit for a while before he ruins himself (or he already got that?)

I see, as many have said Biden is clearly the one who takes the seat it's a new thing to hear this, that's why I asked. Oh well, I don't want to get some hope on this, I already lost my bet on exbet 😅 I doubt I'll get it back even if the results changes.

Since more bad news came from the Trump camp, I guess now it is safe to say the election is over and Biden has won... That doesn't mean the election was fair and Biden didn't cheat... it only means one way or another Biden got what he wanted.

Having that huge lost of course you will not forget it easily  once you lost a lot , even you are rich people you will never forget the day you bet that amount and the feeling of loosing it , but it's part of the game you gamble your money in exchange of thinking the way to double it but you failed.just take it as experience, hopefully that man will not do the same mistake again in the future.

The gambler had chosen the odds with cent percent hope of winning. In the history of US election every Presidential candidate is being elected for two consecutive period as President. This is the first time a president is losing the election without continuing for a total of eight years. Maybe upon this fact the gambler could've chosen the odd for Trump.

That new info for me.

Never thought that it happened in the presidential election of the US but as far as I know, I've watched this video saying that they are kind of finding a new thing so maybe they are so fond of Trumps' word and they want a new one. This might just proves that the people don't actually like the idea of Trump leading the US.

That's definitely not the first time though, this article would give us the right information.

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/how-many-us-presidents-lost-second-term-b1640998.html

Quote
The office of the US president was established in 1789, and out of all the men who have held office, only ten have failed to win re-election for a second term, when they have attempted to.

It's important that we know the real information first because we made a statement, let's avoid making statement that will mislead the reader.

even if its so low upto 1% it's still considerable, we might not know what will happen next, besides even if the odds are on with Biden we still know that there are many people who still believes on Trump.

I wonder what will be the outcome of this re-counts, though even I has a slightest doubt of having this an excuse to.make changes in the gap between votes.

I'm quite sure that the conditions of the bet will stipulate very clearly when and how the winner (of the election as well as of the bet Wink) will be decided. Doesn't look good for this gambler though... Wink

I hope you are a young forum user, because there few other excuses for the bullsh*t you are posting here. Didn't anyone ever tell you it's better to keep your mouth shut and not talk about things you don't know anything about, and instead to listen and learn?

Check out article 2 from the US Constitution and learn a few things for a change.

Gambling site would only based the grading of bets based from the official announcement of the winner of the presidential race, and until now there's still no announcement so they have the right to hold the grading of bet, some sportsbook have graded bets already but that is an exemption.

For me there is no cheating at all that happened because we are talking about US systems where they have best technology and also transparency that are popular all over the nations,  Biden won but trump will never concedes defeat because he mentioned it. I admire trump because of what he said and he really proved that he born a winner even though he lose in the recent presidential election.

I'm actually concern for the guy that lose $5 million in politics betting, I hope he is okay and he able to move on because of the result of the election. Even though he is a stranger for me, I have care for him because he is a gambler like me. I also admire him because he bet so much money where for me he has a characteristics of a high risk gambler.

There's no official announcement yet right? this gambler still has a chance but as we can see Biden really has more votes than Trump unless they make it official this bettor's bet has still chance to win.

Majority of bookies now are announcing or had been finalized this bet. Why would need to wait up for some changes of mind or decision?

Why people cant just accept that he lost and some bookies now are indeed failing to give out those who bet on Biden and still pending just because of those possible recount or decisions
that Trump had actually won?

No matter if he won or not yet its not our money but yeah its big to talk or discussed on but it is over now for him to make up regrets.
Theres no turning back and he had lost this one.

There is no way the bettor can win even if the election is cancelled and rescheduled, Trump total votes was quite less than Biden at same time can't find a solid proof of Biden rigging the election. The bettor had already lost the bet and I don't think the loser will feel pained because that sum is affordable for him to loss.

Big thanks for that!

I think trump already lost.

Those states that they sued can't actually make Trump win as there are a lot of Biden votes that Trump had that even those votes were actually for Trump, it doesn't matter. I think he already lost his $5M.

Oh, my God, you are so out of touch. You should know more about it first than write such nonsense. There were at least a dozen presidents who served only one term and lost the election for another term.
The most recent was George H. W. Bush losing the election to Bill Clinton in 1993.

(...)

I'm quite sure that the conditions of the bet will stipulate very clearly when and how the winner (of the election as well as of the bet Wink) will be decided. Doesn't look good for this gambler though... Wink

Gambling site would only based the grading of bets based from the official announcement of the winner of the presidential race, and until now there's still no announcement so they have the right to hold the grading of bet, some sportsbook have graded bets already but that is an exemption.

Unless I'm mistaken, the name of the gambling site is not mentioned in OP's article on FOX News, otherwise we could look up the conditions of the bet immediately. (not 100% sure the bet was placed online either, of course)
