It would be strange if Championship wouldn't go to international break. Probably almost all teams have more or less players invited to their national teams. After all, IMO Championship is Top 10 league in Europe. There is not much level difference from Belgian or Portuguese leagues. Yes, top clubs is stronger there, but rest of teams is similar level.
I guess if there is not much joy to play in bottom clubs like Cremonese or Elche, rather than in competetive Championship club, especially if money is same, but personally I wouldn't change Spanish or Italian climate for English.

Because mister Hhmapuz won again, and he was kind enough to transfer his free bet for next week.
He is going to get diploma from me in the end of this season as a new EFL Championship expert

I am following results and top teams, and I joined predictions like always.
Lincoln, Cardiff are coming in EFL Championship next season with one more team.

Another Championship round is finished and Coventry remains on the top with  9 points more than Middlesbrough.
Ipswich is in third place but they have one match less than other teams.
Southampton and Wrexham are still fighting for last lay-off spot, and Leicester is already one step in relegation zone.

Almost around 80 - 100 championship players have been called up to the national team, this indicates that the EFL championship players are almost on par with some other European leagues, so obviously this league is on pause because many players are buying their own country.

In a situation where the teams participating in the championship happen to have too many players whom have been called up by their national teams then I think it would only be wise for the English FA to suspend the league for that reason so as not to make some teams feel they are at disadvantage due to the absence of their key players, or maybe the FA want the players to have some rest since some of the championship clubs also have fixtures in the FA cup after the international break.

I don't know either but I know loads of people in companies or jobs where they refuse promotion because they are happy with a midjob that gives them enough money and time to do the things they like with the life they have.

Oh yeah, I've always known it was big, at least in terms of finances and player quality, I had no doubt it was top 10 in the world, possibly even top 5 even taking into account the big 4 Europe leagues. Frka's post above confirms value as well!

Even without those numbers I'd have been comfortable to say it only because I've funnily enough been to quite a number of Championship games and the atmosphere, and quality on pitch, is highly comparable if not even better than what I've watched in, say, Netherlands (haha).

Generally, I feel Bundesliga 2 has a much better attendance rate than the Championship. Would be interesting to do a proper research but too lazy to do it now.

Bigger than Serie A total, bigger than La Liga total but correct it is mainly because they have more teams BUT you have to remember in La Liga and Serie A a lot of the fans are international fans or VIP people. Whereas in Championship majority are local fans, so to me that is impressive. So to me, Championship is actually super underrated.

This isn't about the playoffs, rather it is about the championship and why its fixtures were put  on hold. Under normal circumstances the championship usually stay on during the international break but recently you would notice that there are many international players in that league than some leagues in Europe.

Perhaps that's the reason why there are no fixtures at this moments, check it out, for the first time this is actually happening, very unusual, I think the championship is becoming more popular than some leagues in Europe and not just about the tickets price only.

Yeah, no one beats Bundesliga 2. If I'm not mistaken, their attendance is higher than in French Ligue 1, Eredivisie or Portuguese Primeira. They even had rounds with higer attendance than in Bundesliga 1. It happens when you have teams like Schalke, Kaiserslautern, Hannover, Hertha and others with huge stadiums and fanbase playing there

While in Championship there is no such huge stadiums, most teams play in 20-30k capacity stadiums. But maybe things will change a bit when Spurs will get relegated .
