I know it's not technically Championship talk but is anyone else here NOT rooting for Wrexham? I don't want them to be in the Championship next season. Everyone needs to do their time in purgatory, and while we've all enjoyed the rises of Forest, Ipswich, even Leicester remember them, Wrexham Hollywood moneybags should stay a few more seasons outside Championship, just to earn the right to be here.

I dont follow all teams in leagues below Championship but I think Birmingham City is coming back next season from League One.
They played in Premier League from year 2002 to 2011, than they always played in Championship, until the last season.

If you haven't seen the documentary, do it. Part of it is boring AF but in general it's well made and quite funny.

I cheer for the good story, and that's actually a great one. Not just because of the club (which is run in a good way), but because of the way it influenced the community as a whole.
Also, that scouser Paul Mullin seems like a great guy. I want them in the Prem, but that is a step they will hardly reach.

If you haven't seen the documentary, do it. Part of it is boring AF but in general it's well made and quite funny.

Any story feels good if you put a Hollywood shine on it. Call me cynical but I don't want to get into it too much and just sum up why I'm not bought over: artificiality.

I don't know the figures when the club was first bought over, but I remember in League Two, their wages for players alone cost more than the total value of any one club in League Two. Too lazy to dig the numbers up but I think the owners bought Wrexham for 2m, and then bought and paid players many times that amount in wages. Right, other clubs do it too, maybe even with more money. But while other clubs have unglamourous fried chicken bosses or duty free shop moguls, few have Hollywood powers who know how to put Wrexham in FIFA or to get an American network to docu them. I even barf at some Liverpool ads, so don't think I reserve this for other teams haha.

Now, yes, they're up there in League One and suddenly have a team value more or less the average of League One, but I do want to be a twat and see them ply trade a few more years in LO to see if the glam sticks around if there's no promotion to gratify them.

In all seriousness, though. I'm glad there are more like you and fewer like me haha. I want to like football again but I think it's more to do with me than with football. *sob

I am more inclined towards Preston for Draw or Preston wins with odds of @1.66, this is because in the last games they are doing well even when playing away from home or at home and also in the last 5 games in which these two teams played against each other, Preston won in 2 games and drew in 3 games and Blackburn Rovers in the last 5 games only won in 1 game.

Actually Preston might like secured the three points against Blackburn rovers, although Blackburn rovers is far ahead of them in the lead table. But considering their head to head record now I think Preston stand in a better chance of winning the game, because just like as you mentioned their performance now are very impressive. However, even as they are playing at away I think they may likely get a draw against Blackburn rovers tonight.

Crazy 7:0 win for Leeds, they really destroyed Cardiff and give homework to all other teams in Championship!
They are not by far team who scored most goals in the league, 60, and they have by far best record when playing at home stadium.
Sheffield Utd won their match today so they are keeping up with Leeds, difference is only 2 points.
Sad to see Hull City losing today against Stoke and they scored the first goal.

One more match left for tomorrow and it should be a good one Middlesbrough vs Sunderland, but Sperbru added three more matches played in midweek.

Sunderland finally secured the three points against Middlesbrough yesterday. After playing 1-1 draw in the first half, I almost concluded that the game would end in draw due to Middlesbrough's performance in the second half. However, if not for the own goal by Ryan Giles' In the 87th minutes I think the game would have just ended in draw, but even as that both teams performances yesterday was very interesting.

Superbru strangely mixed two rounds into one, maybe that helped cryptofrka survive his own collapse.

Thanks guys, honestly I am just hitting a hot patch lately in this league, i've been chilling down in the bottom of the ranks since the start. Nothing has changed in my strategy, going for mostly the 2-1 scoreline for the team that has a higher percentage of winning, taking in consideration their ranking and their form, mainly their last 5 games, while also checking their form in home and away games, and one last thing, I try to avoid draws, especially in this league, that's it man, that's the strategy, been using it since the beginning but I guess now there is more data to rely on than at the start of the season. I am still waaaay behind the top 5, I don't believe I'll catch up, but I wont give up, maybe I'll pull out a Leverkusen

Bro in 2 rounds got more points then anyone and with that big amount of points was able to go into top10. Thats why in this pool you should never give up,its too unpredicatable and i think the race for the first place and other places will probobly go until the last day and that is good,will be intresting

Well if you win another yellow cap or two it will be equal or more than winning a top 5 prize. So its a very valid strategy anyway to get all the prizes while not having a big chance near the top, usually thats also my strategy with the main difference being it doesn't work for me lol

2-1 is also my favorite scoreline, going all the way in all the pools maybe 90% of my picks. Not sure if its really working but seems to be doing ok. Good luck to doing that, but draws are what @cryptofrka does a lot and its working for him
