When was Coventry the last time they played in the Premier League?... Ipswich were relegated from the PL last season and now back again they have consistent play.

What is much worse Leicester seems to be relegated again this is consecutive for 2 seasons with now, this team is so badly collapsed maybe the management is not thinking of improvement, they are the former who once won the PL title.
25 years ago Coventry played in the Premier League. They were relegated in 2001. Frank Lampard coached Coventry back to the Premier League. Leicester is the sad story about previous Premier League champions. Leicester were PL champions in 2016 now they could be relegated to League One.
Good news comes from Lampar bringing Coventry to be a mighty team in the Championship... Now the Premier League will welcome him, I hope he doesn't get called up again by Chelsea because we know Liam is going through a downturn with his team. Cheesy

It hurts for Leicester... Naah that is curious what about Totteham they are now in the relegation zone, this big team must move to this league and if that happens then a big material loss will befall it.
Frank Lampard will make a mistake to coach Chelsea if Liam is fired. Coventry are promoted to the PL with 6 games to spare. Frank should forget new job offers. He will stick with the vision of helping Coventry. He will coach Coventry next year.

Tottenham are in trouble because West Ham put them in the relegation zone. It will hurt Spurs if they get relegated like it hurts for Leicester relegated to League Two.

Wrexham imploding, bottling? All hope not gone, but they need some big favours now... of course I probably jinxed them when I started switching picks to them winning/drawing. Don't worry I'm switching back now.

That is the problem when you "grow", also here in the top teams like Boca and River when the stadium doesnt have more capacity the prices of the tickets goes up and a lot of people start to complain about tickets for tourist or if they have to allow fans who are not club members to have a ticket or a place in the stadium. And this is impossible to answer is not solution to give, you can only rise the prices of tickets or reserve the place for club members and nothing more.

You trade the popularity worldwide for the local clasic atmosphere. Is one or the other not both.

I will always choose the local atmosphere.

Sorry I responded to this late, but I just wanted to say: I always choose local atmosphere also. There's just something special about it. And I've watched from VIP boxes where fellow spectators tell me: nah, they're happy in the box. Maybe I will agree when I'm older and it's more comfortable sipping wine/beer while having lots of space around.

But for me, the best memories are still surrounded by fellow rabid fans shouting our old (dead) club on. The smell of clove cigarettes, piss, sweat, shitty views of the actual pitch, not really knowing if a goal was scored at the other end or not (we didn't have tv screens then). Fuck. Those were happy nights.

Southampton surprised Wrexham in the 5-1 win. They did not implode, Wrexham can make it in the playoff. Frank Lampard proved his modern coaching at Coventry worked. He nearly did the same at Derby before coaching Chelsea. Congrats to Frank and Coventry City for finding their way to the PL after 25 years away.

Wrexham imploding, bottling?

Well, for me they were nowhere near favorites to reach the playoffs so tough to call them that.
But yeah - 1 win out of the last 5, 3 losses - they'll feel like they had it all in their hands and lost it.

They still play both Coventry and Middlesbrough in the last 4 games - sounds barely doable.
