2020... Altseason?

Bitcoin is on an up rally now and investors are selling alts for buying bitcoin. If you have check coinmarketcap recent data then you will see BTC dominance is raising and alts is losing its dominance over the crypto market. Only ETH holds its influence and manages to be upwards in some points. So I think 2020 is a year for DeFi and NFT project mostly.

thats mean altseason will not coming in this year, and for me the right time for altcoin season is next year
now investors and traders focused on bitcoin, thats why its hard for altcoins to grow, just like your words above many people exchange their altcoins to bitcoin at this moment

Everyone can say anything while they can tell you. However, in investing, you have to be the best actor to determine which option is the best that can generate profit for you. There's no need to believe what people say about investing, because in the end you will get the result yourself. A lot has happen since 2017 and it feels like there are more stable grounds for crypto, even though real fundamentals to base prizes on are still lacking. But there are a lot of new actors entering the market. Paypal prhaps being the most prominent lately.
I especially like when traditional (if Paypal can be determined as that) are entering the crypto space, because that gives legitimacy to the industry. That is what will drive real mass adoption.

I believe we are in the beginning of a new rush.

I don't think that this is a bubble.

If this is a bubble then sure it's about to pop soon. But what we see is a natural growth of bitcoin, looking at where it came from and how much the price by that time. We can conclude that this is an actual growth which is expected.

Alt season for this year? we don't know when it will start. The important thing for us to see is that bitcoin is pumping again and which is likely to start the trend for alts soon but without any idea when.

It's too fast to say if this year belongs to alt coins, because if we look at the current chart in the market, only a few alt coins have bubbles and some other alt coins don't seem to have had a big impact from the increase in bitcoin prices in the market, only a few large alt coins just like eth which seems to be getting a strong boost from rising bitcoin prices, but it's a pretty good start right now for those of us who holds eth.

I cannot say in this year will be alt season because of some prices of altcoins are now is in dip.
And we dont know on when will be increase the price again, And some of my altcoins at my portfolio was always sleeping and not moving the price a little bit but maybe this will be have a time for them to be have progress so Im holding it as long as I have patience.

Well, it has been observed in the past that whenever Bitcoin rallies, then the next phase will be altcoin season., wherein after BTC reached its peak and started to decline, the funds in the BTC market goes to altcoin which triggers several altcoin markets to surge.  But who knows, they say history repeats itself but then sometimes it will take a longer time.

Alt season for sure will come and bitcoin price is not steadying because price is volatile. Btc movement dominnates at all the time in the market. So we could not think these days an alt season rather we have to wait and take this opportunity to buy some alts that is good to buy.

In the past makes me see that the altcoin season trend here is not clear. The whole market is going up and I think bitcoin is the main factor, and I also see people are more interested in bitcoin, the altcoins that get a lot of attention here are mainly projects with updates important next time.

Maybe the big huge altcoin increase will happen in 2021? I still think we are doing fine but most of the money for alts went to DeFi related projects this year and not into trusted old ones that we know of, which is why I think it is quite important we realize bitcoin may increase (or decrease) but altcoins may just stay like this and make some movement but not have a huge break out this year.

This year was defi year and they did great, next year maybe it will be something else and it could impact all of altcoins instead of a certain amount of them only, at which case the new tech or whatever trend next year will have could potentially change altcoins shape and could make them go back to their own ATH prices just like how BTC is trying to do right now.

The rapid growth all made bitcoin the second bubble easily. But with this halving and the heavy inflation prediction will also affect the price of bitcoin a lot.
I'm not sure but 80% is the possibility that Bitcoin will surpass ATH and make a new high in the next 2 years. There isn't anything that can stop Bitcoin, it will soon become a familiar currency that any bank must have in the future

 I am thinking the same I expect ATH will happen this year and alt season will start once Bitcoin reach and break another ATH .  So if ever Bitcoin price move more than 20k$ this year then expect the altc season to start next year. There is no way it will not and like what happen to 2017 many altcoin will follow Bitcoin trend .

So the best time accumulating altcoin is now befir Bitcoin break his ATH .

It's inevitable, we have been experienced ATH about almost 3 years now. The market very looks like exactly same as before, some coins are turn into green already. ETH trading over $470, definitely roads on the alt season particularly the individuals who are in the long.

Yes the market favours ATH for bitcoin this time but I cannot convince myself about altcoins apart from Ethereum because we have not seen any remarkable pump in the value of other altcoins apart from the gradual increase in the value which has been accumulated in last one year.

If you compare all time low of altcoins with current price it has already gained massively but at the same time if you compare it with all time high then you will realise that the difference is even higher. I would says we cannot consider altcoin bull run until top altcoins gains atleast 25% of its current value.

Dont hope for some bubble but with this very unpredictable market then it can happen from time to time.Steadying bitcoins price doesnt mean
that it will switch up to altcoins because it doesnt correlate from time to time.
We have seen that bitcoin can stabilize and alts are still on reds or in idle manner but there are instances which alts do rise up when bitcoin is on read.
Its just a switch up on simple explanation but theres no such thing for people to say that it is the precise thing that been happening behind.

2020 market situation resembles me a bit 2017. If you look back and compare altcoins and Bitcoin graphs of that year you will see the similarity. I am afraid of another thing here. New crypto winter can come to the market again. We need to be very attentive when trading/holding/investing.

why we should affraid with this condition ? isn't it already be good condition where is cryptocurrency market already recovered, we must remember 2017 market rise due its hype but today market rise because giant investors that come from finance firm already come to and join here. everything is okay now no need to worry.

Alt began to dip more to make room for growth, most project was dead.

And soon maybe many zombie life again for the las time
