The word "safety" doesn't really fit out neither with Bitcoin or with alts yet everything does have its corresponding risk that's why we should really be careful on making investment decisions.

Everything should be realized and analyzed and don't let your emotions control you because in times like these where your mind is really minding much about correlation and possible movement

I have the same point of view because we have expereienced this in the past. I would say holding would be the right call for now. If you sell right now you are going to regret later when they go up, if you buy right now you may not have enough money to be patient and have to end up selling quickly before it could potentially increase, but if you just hold whatever you have like it is not there you could make a profit, you already have enough money obviously since you bought before and haven't sold yet, compared to buying now which could be undecided if you will need it, hence I think holding could be the perfect approach.

What I do not understand however is the fact that people who sell early now after holding so far, you have come thus far holding all your coins, why get out now? What is so special about a bit of increase? You could make 5x that profit if you just wait another year.

I do not have a lot of alts but those that i have i will keep holding for longterm because i trust my choice and even if bitcoin's move put alts under pressure it will not continue like that for long so no need to worry really just relax because then it will time for alts to move big.

It depends upon which coins you are holding, the top coins in the market rallied alongside BTCitcoin which includes Ethereum, Litecoin and there were a few surprised rally from EOS and Aave and the DeFi market was also having their upswings in both directions, my opinion is to be careful dealing with the DeFi market as i wont be surprised if the hype will die off and the high valued tokens going back to the price they started.

Stick to top 10 or possibly top 15 coins. Maybe add a small flavor of smaller coins you believe in to get some extra spice to your portfolio.

And I hold if the coin that I've bought is still bleeding. Yes, there's nothing wrong to sell and hold until you see there's profit. That's the basic strategy that I do if the coin I hold and I believe is still bleeding and I'm in the lose, no problem of holding it.

You really not that sure it still depends on which coin the user is holding some coins are worth selling for and it's good to immediately jump off rather than crashing without any profit if you think the project is good for long term and you see them crashing I think that's the only time you won't sell but if the project is not that good and starts to crash well I think you should jump before it landed.

If someone is not confident about their alt bag then definitely he should sell or flip into bitcoin but if you are sure that you are holding top quality altcoins then there is no point in doing that because we have seen good alts to really skyrocket after btc finds the new highs and potential percentage gains for alts is more than btc so holding alts is not a bad choice.

This make little sense to me. What matters is what you believe in the future for the project. If you are on plus or minus doesn't really matter.

I would rather say trend is your friend, unfortunately in both ways. Cut bad coins that are going down and find better projects with a bright future. Don't be afraid to cut losses.

I bought some more LTC about 2 months ago. Very good decision I think, because LTC is still performing far below its level.
Apart from that, of course, I'm going for BTC, where I parked by far the largest part of my investments!

I just angry how altcoin price movement at the current sentiment market. Most of them only just make me loss money, because their price movement in one side trying to follow bitcoin price movement. But if there is a correction its price just dumped a lot more than I entry then I was loss. And the other side, altcoin price is trying to not follow bitcoin movement. Like bitcoin price up then we will see altcoin price just decreasing. But, it is just for a while, I mean there is a situation if bitcoin is trying to meet a correction almost altcoin price dump a lot as well, and it was made me confuse.
