Most overreaction when price go up is (too bad I didn't buy much when price were low). lol
Almost every time the price goes up someone will say that. Actually investing isn't the case because I think buy it while you can afford it and hold on if you believe it has great potential in the future. Let's learn from experience that almost every time bitcoin drops further, we will see its price recover over time.

All I can say is that the circumstances are much more in the bulls favour so we might have an even bigger break-up. I mean:

1) Bitcoin is very scarce (supply is low)
2) People want to buy (demand is high)
3) People are greedy (they won't sell early)

The only thing that kept people away from it was the uncertainty of how countries will approach it. There were many conspiracy theories that this or that country will fight and ban it. Some politicians were negative like there was a congressman in the US who said it's money of the criminals and should be banned.

Once the rumors remained that and only that more people begun to trust Bitcoin and consider it a worthy investment.

Now there's little that can damage it.

People who bought bitcoin in March or in the price where people doubt bitcoin truly deserve bitcoin's price right now. They are the ones who truly believe bitcoin when almost all of the people doubt it. The buyers of bitcoin right now expect to reach another ATH. We can't say it will happen, but it's possible.

I think bitcoin will not always to the moon. There's always a time it will fall to the price where people doubt bitcoin again.

I know that they are securing their money to risks but bitcoin is risk itself. If they will not get into that risk, this will really happen. You should trust the process, you don't think of it since it could create doubts that might lead to anxiety and that would be harder. Its been like this for years, they should know better.

Does it mean all about how an individual did their own research? I ever heard that trading is not as simple as buying low sell high because if we only implement this without any further analysis, we may face a deep downtrend when market correction and also has issues or risks for cut loss.

But yeah, I bought a few BTC in March and still hold now, at that time, it is only about the belief that BTC can really increase again at least in 2021. And currently, BTC really gives a surprise to me.

Because it's easy to say but hard to execute correctly since many are been emotional on happenings and believe on the hype came that's why we can see more people losing rather than earning. Hopefully those who lose will not quit and really learn from this experience and execute their trades on their own personal knowledge since this could help them more.

It's a human error or that is our common instinct.

These people are driven by their doubts and wrong market analysis. When they saw that the market is red, they will also be thinking more about negative (dump soon, dump soon, the end of crypto). A little bit funny but that is what we mostly heard, they are also in bearish mind once they saw reds but they are also in bullish minds once they saw green lines.

This kind of person will easily be got into FOMO, fears are inside and doubtful minds.

Most people are easily fended off by a dip thinking it's the end of the world when stuff like this happens on the daily not only in the bitcoin market but everywhere else. What's good though is the fact that bitcoin already had a strong userbase that are confident in the coin itself. Most of them would hold for months and months on end which is reay great because bitcoin is a high risk high reward scheme.

Certainly those people who reversely invest at times like this wherein the price of Bitcoin soars high reaching $16000+ seems to be like new in the market for they have been attracted on investing when the price is not affordable at this time for the fact that such price is already expensive compared to when the pandemic crisis have started last March at this year based on the illustration/attached photo posted by the OP which is $3800 that is much more affordable compared to the price that Bitcoin have right now. Certainly such decision making is vague and pale for they did not saw the opportunity despite of the crisis where other people that have just bought at those times are certainly enjoying their prosperity as of the moment.

Is this something new? Its always been part of the reality where people would really be in deep doubts when the price is almost on the floor where we become too emotional.
We would really be giving out those bearish sentiments like "bitcoin is dead".,"bitcoin goes to 100,1000 or lower". Its part of human nature to have fear but for those people
who do see it as an opportunity will surely buy those cheap coins and look at now? Theyve been gaining some good amounts of their investment which it didnt really that last long
because it did rise on this year which i would say that it is a worth risk to take.

Bitcoin ia always a good buy whenever one wanted by just holding it a couple of years surely that one will earn. Yet, to get the optimum profit in short period of time then buy low and sell high strategy is very effeective. I had seen some of my friends doing this and even invited me to buy bitcoin when market price was low. If we think about the concrete reason it is people's buying interest that brought the bitcoin price up to $16k.

Fomo increased the volume of buy orders in many exchanges. On the other hand, some holders expect to sell at new highs and have no interest in selling at this time. That causes the volume of sell orders to be lower and of course pushes the price even higher due to panic buy. If people don't buy now, the volume of sell orders will be more and it will be further away from the $16k price.

Isn't that the main concept in trading. And indeed this concept is the most effective among other concepts. although the pattern is normal, I think here we all apply it. so there is no classic word, because it is impossible to buy at a high price and sell at a low price. lol
All activities are transactions, the basic concept of trading will remain the same "buy low, sell high" if you use the opposite concept, you are not a trader.

There will be still some people who will buy even a certain coin is having a HIGH PRICE in the market, that is because of FOMO or fear of missing out, sometimes even the coin price is high it is good to buy it, but be sure that it will not goes down so instantly, so you should learn how to monitor it and read charts so that you don't have any regrets in the future.

The perfect description of crypto community and the behavior, and for the love of me, i still wonder why it is so, people will only start buying when the price is high and not when the price is extremely down, i could member that period many people speculate below $1000, even a guy in a telegram group i follow was so sure about it, i was afraid this speculation will come to reality, but to all our surprise btc did the very opposite, now look at price today, many of us had the golden chance to buy btc at cheap - 3k+   but we didn't, today even at 16k people are busy buying, such an irony
