We need to have all altcoins reach their respective ATH eventually, we can't have them all under their ATH prices forever, eventually it needs to break the ATH and create a new level of high.

I know it looks like it is not possible right now and I know that it looks like we are going to see a lot long period of being under ATH and just waiting even with high increases like doubling the previous price in a month so forth and yet still not reaching, but we are going to "eventually" reach there for sure, there is no doubt about that.

I do not know how easy or hard it will be but I know it will happen one day. So, during that period when ETH breaks its ATH, LTC breaks its ATH, BCH breaks its ATH, BNB breaks its ATH, I am sure monero will be breaking its ATH as well.

XMR price has risen 3.5x since March until now, the chart showing strong uptrend clearly. XMR's ATH is ~3.5x(~$450) its current price, there is no bad news affecting the market next year, it completely break its ATH.

To be able to break its ATH, Monero needs to have special good news at the moment to stimulate buying for investors.

The possibility is always there after all from its current price it only needs to do roughly a 4x which is not that much if you ask me, however the problem that monero has is precisely that is a privacy coin, and many exchanges prefer not to deal with those kind of coins because they fear they will get in trouble with the government because as we know those coins unlike bitcoin offer real privacy and to me that seems like the biggest roadblock for monero to reach a new all time high.

i totally agree with your opinion that in an environment where governments all over the world are trying  to regulate all kind of Financial products including crypto currencies, the exchanges are reluctant to deal with such currencies which might put them in trouble. We all know that this crypto currencies world is full of surprises and whether it breaks its ATH record, only the time will answer.

While I agree that Moreno is going to eventually break its ATH the reasoning you are using is something I do not agree with, records are only meant to be broken is a phrase that is used when it comes to marks left by athletes and that eventually get improved upon whether by new and more effective training regimens or better technology, however when it comes to assets this is not true at all, there are many coins out there that reached an ATH during 2017 and not only they have no chance to improve on their ATH they have disappeared completely so we cannot use that logic on the markets.

Ypu have to stop looking at fiat price.  If bitcoin goes to $1mil and monero goes to $500, I mean yeah technically it would have broken its fiat valued ATH but in terms of crypto/sats it would have taken a massive hit.  Value ATH of every alt in terms of bitcoin pairings until there is a time when said alt is mainly bought with fiat and not bitcoin.
