Hi GAW Miners,

Could you please explain for this ASIC newbie how the "colocation service" works exactly?

1) I need to buy from HOSTING items area or directly from the SCRYPT MINERS area?

2) Is there a time limit to leave the bought miners in "colocation", or can I leave it with you "forever"?

3) When do you intend to release the portal so we can manage the miners ourselves?

Why these questions are so important in my case?
I live in Brazil and shipping and customs taxes are very high, so, this service looks really nice.

Thanks in advance...  Wink

I received an e-mail from them with this info:
"you are available to host for one year. After this point, it is automatically shipped directly to you"

Hosting option with repair after warranty period.

This will bring you a lot of customers.

So are the hosting options completely gone for now?

So are the hosting options completely gone for now?

They are back and you may order right now but all orders will not become active until 05/02/14. This is to ensure on-time delivery of your order.

Any chance they will be active before 5/2/14? Or is that date set in stone. I'd like to order 4 more blades right now. But waiting 2 weeks probably won't work.

Also, what about non-hosted (shipped) orders. Are those also delayed?

As many of you have already noticed, we've released our:

Customer Loyalty Rewards & Refer-a-Friend programs

Loyalty Rewards:
For every dollar you spend, you earn 10 rewards points. You can redeem the rewards points for store credit - from small to large $ amounts.

You can see all the reward tiers by clicking the widget on the bottom right of the site. If you're logged in, click the widget and then switch to the Reward Redemption tab.

If you plan on making many purchases, save your points to redeem a bigger prize!

Refer-a-Friend:
If you refer a friend, every purchase earns you 5000 points (same as a $500 purchase!), so get to it!

Anyone you refer receives $20 off their first purchase over $200. Posting your referral link on Facebook or Twitter might earn you multiple referrals in one shot so give it a go! Wink

Starting Off:

Just for logging in or signing up, you will be rewarded 1000 points!

Thanks for being part of this amazing and ever-growing community!

The GAW Team

P.S.  If you have any questions or comments for these programs, please post it in this thread:

GAW is keepin it real folks.

No lies, or misleading the customers, they are tellin it like it is, which is refreshing.

Not promising something tomorrow like other companies do and then leave you hanging for a week or more with 0% communication.

I applaud them for being brave enough and confident enough to display their honesty and transparency by informing their customers when they should realistically expect things to be either shipped or hosted, and status updates all along the way with their power upgrades and temporary downtime's (which they are offering compensation for by the way).

I can honestly say I have never seen that before!

Way to go guys!

TEAM GAW FTW!.....again Wink

Well I'm dr. spock I'm here to rock y'all

I just wanted to say these guys are great.  I had a problem with my order (actually, I complained about it in this thread....) and they actually called me that same day (saturday) and fixed the problem.  Not only did they get the blades to me first thing this morning, they actually gave me a credit for my lost time.  It's so refreshing to deal with an honest company for a change!  I definitely recommend them over anyone else.

When can we expect UI updates for 10-packs?

I'm interested in setting lower clock for my misbehaving miners, and getting back an ability to restart packs and/or individual miners.

I'll second that.... had a rather large order arrive in next to no time at all (4 days from CHINA!!!). I did encounter one technical difficulty in my set up, but GAW tech support was all over it until it was resolved. No complaints on my end at all.

Another awesome point, I placed my order late at night and got a phone call the next morning telling me the price had dropped on the Gridseeds that morning and my order would be updated to reflect the lower price... I opted to just add more Gridseeds to keep the price the same, win!

I took a risk with a company as new as GAW, and I am sure glad that I did. You guys can count on repeat business from me.
