Yes there are still more big project ahead in the future for ETH, ETH 2.0 When it release it's stable version must be pumped ETH price hard because it's new PoS method. So i think ETH won't be dead in 5 or more years because this coin is still on the top of the investor's list

When the topic poster made this topic then Ethereum price was too dip that we assumed Ethereum would be die soon. But after next some days eth started to improve and hitted the highest maximum 4500$ ... Now Ethereum above $2100+.

I will say no Ethereum is not gonna die still now after bitcoin Ethereum is the most trusted and most used and secured blockchain. More than 80% projects of crypto market uses this platform.
Yeah nowadays fees is high. As you said developers are trying to make it more scalable and affordable. They are doing it gradually taking their time like years after years and making it step by step. So I think the running car problem will not happen with it. When Ethereum will migrate into proof of stake completely most of the problems will be solved.

just like bitcoin at that time which was only $3500, where many people were pessimistic about it, both of them were pioneers in cryptocurrency, whose movements seemed to affect the movement of other coins, so I think eth will never die, especially now that there is support from governments like elsalvador, which is expected that crypto adoption will continue to increase

I think no because etherum is a very strong project and It has many supporters but if supporters will leave it so it can die but it is not possible don't be worried and think positive.

No one has been able to compete with ETH until now, even some coins that hang are predicted to be ETH's strongest competitors such as BNB and Polkadot have not been able to match the ATH they have achieved, maybe the current price is down but it is a natural thing in the crypto market.

I am a long term supporter  of Ethereum and  know that it is the most trusted network to create smart contracts but the kind of Huge fees for withdrawal and swapping of tokens, we have to nowadays due to slow network or congestion , is going to make it unpopular coin in coming months and other networks like, Binance, EOS, Polka Dot may take its place . The issue with Ethereum is that its developers are trying to scale running Blockchain which is like repairing a car while driving.

And what exactly will kill it when the team are always working. Scalability of a blockchain is not a small task and it is not done once but when the need arises this is because, at the onset the blockchain might not have enough load or projects, but as the network usage increases, the scaling the blockchain will come to play; this is what I see with the case of Ethereum blockchain.
The projects and DApp on Ethereum are much with many still coming in.
Remember, during the bull run months ago when most projects where moving to BSC network, it got to a time that congestion was such, the network was messed up and transactions were failing, this is a network which hasn't last for long facing such issue. So when you think of all these, then you will understand the reason why scaling Ethereum blockchain is taking time, moreover issue of gas fee has stopped since gas fee has dropped drastically.
Ethereum has come to stay because till date, it is the blockchain with that best smart contracts, at least a lot of blockchains are copying from them which means they are good.

Well fees are expencive but also profit are not bad at all, if you look how much it was eth few month ago and look the price today i think many people made huge profit!

I agree, some time ago transaction fees were very expensive but now it has gone down and Ethereum price is still very high and will probably reach new ATG after Ethereum 2.0 update maybe, so ethereum won't die this time

We can complain about the price problem, transaction costs as well as the speed is too bad compared to other products in the market. But that doesn't mean much when it actually brings good profits and the level of safety is also very good. Ethereum is not about "for rich or for poor" just because of high gas fees. Which are not that high now compared to before anyway,,, I think if you move to a new chain JUST for fees you are making someone else rich, especially if it is centralized like BSC or even those Layer 2 like Polkadot, these are just rich people getting all your fees.

From my opinion, No. Ethereum blockchain is very popular for DeFi, NFT projects. And if only fees is problem, It’s decreasing. Now transection fees on ethereum blockchain is only 16 gwei. It’s less enough, hope more decrease in future. Sometimes i noticed fee is only 5 gwei. I think ethereum will survive smoothly in futures. It’s smart contract is loved by much persons.

Etherium will never die very Great and top project working on Etherium smart contract. Bsc network is just a copy of Eth. Eth contract can be used for million of transaction.
Fee will be reduce and will be charge appropriate when harf fork of london and some updates done.

I agree with you, it is hard for small investors to transact on Ethereum blockchain because of the high gas fees.

But still you could make a transaction using this tool in a minimum fee.

It's true i agreed with you but i think some more compelling reasons why it is easy to say that etherium will never die because Ethereum’s market cap is around $287 billion.

I strongly believe that the capitalization of Ethereum can approach BTC. Of the top platforms, I see only Ethereum being the most serious about keeping the blockchain's core value of decentralization. When Vitalik solves the gas fee problem, we will see Ethereum reach the development it should have.
