Merits are used in multiple manners, but the generalized idea is that they should denote, or point to, a post or thread that has some substance and interest. As such, looking at the most merited threads on this board should be worth a read, thus this post to easily point them out. These are not custom topic based pointers to threads, but rather an objective merit based criteria built set of lists.

Wow! I made it!! Category b) topic number 11, 'Your perception matters'. I'm so glad that the list records one of mine, it really tells that my efforts to better the forum is being noticed and appreciated and as such, is an encouragement for me to do much more great works.

There is one thing I just noticed of the relevance of topics such as this @OP. There are a perfect reference to what a quality post is supposed to look like. Maybe not in the context of the write up exactly but, it could either be in the paraphrasing or the concept or the pattern the work assumes. It gives you a guide should you notice how to compose a write up that would fit in as a quality post and yet pass an important idea to the users. I've just skimmed through a few before it downed on me this revelation and I hope all biginners not just read and dedused the message but also, learn the pattern these write ups assume to aid theres(ours) write up should we have to compose one.

I know that's not exactly what you asked for, but it's pretty close imho, list of all those that shared and received merit on Beginners & Help board, from Merit Dashboard ( I set the range from the beginning up until last Friday). No surprise to see @DdmrDdmr on top of that list, way ahead of the other merit sources with 2832 merit shared so far.

By the way, thanks for sharing this list! I must admit that  some of the threads mentioned I see for the first time, and they look quite interesting.

Rather than include this information in the above lists themselves, I’ve added a column (nMeritsAwardedDdmrDdmr) to the Google Sheet referenced in the OP to reflect this, for all the threads (similar to the first list, but for all threads instead of just the top 100). I’ve awarded 385 sMerits to the top 100 most merited threads, although strangely enough, 92 went to the answers on a poll I created. Total DdmrDdmr awarded sMerits to B&H are 2.832 in all.

This is information that interested me, and as I expected it is a very big number of merits that came from just one merit source. I believe that this is just one of the indicators that this board is really helpful not only for beginners, but also for everyone who needs help.

Given the amount of available and high quality information in all the threads listed, it might be a good idea to ask the moderator to pin this thread at the top - I believe this might prevent the repetition of the same questions that have already been answered.

This is a good compilation of those threads who have a lot of merits and newbies can get a lot of guides and help here in making one. Plenty of topics here are important and is a must to read so that they don't violate some rules and they are knowledgeable about the proper doings in this forum. This will served as a guide, an information, a helpful thread for people who wants to feed their mind with knowledges towards many topics.

You are really a hardworking user in this forum because listing all the most merited threads is not easy, so salute to you!

Rather than a pinned thread though, I’d rather there be a forum built-in feature that would let us sort the threads by merits (total, 30/60 days). That would make the function independent from any user needing to perform the updates, as well as extensible to all forum boards.
