Implementing PoS would be quite unfit for what we have in plans for the coin (purchasing goods/services) as PoS encourages hoarding instead of spending!
>scrypt Nice! More meat to be raped by Blackcoin. Thanks for the BTC And those that buy the IPO deserve nothing but a nice failure. Care to elaborate on those claims?

If you don't get it, you shouldn't dare to "develop" a coin these days... But hey, you cloned a scrypt coin without no knowledge at all? No wonder... only thing that's lower than you are these that are stupid enough to buy your IPO scam

People here are so terrified of these ASIC miners they would jump on anything trying to delay them for a bit. Also a PoS system indeed does just encourage hoarding. Sure its obvious this coin isn't unique in a technological sense but instead of focusing on that we focus on promotion and marketing, the stuff that actually is vital to a coin's success instead of relying on fancy features and moving from one fad to another.

So you're saying for a good coin, jumping on a new technology is better than going with a stable one that serves its purpose quite well if not better.
You are telling us, that PoS is new? People here are so terrified of these ASIC miners they would jump on anything trying to delay them for a bit. Also a PoS system indeed does just encourage hoarding.
Sure its obvious this coin isn't unique in a technological sense but instead of focusing on that we focus on promotion and marketing, the stuff that actually is vital to a coin's success instead of relying on fancy features and moving from one fad to another.
You should inform yourself about the evolutions first, before you try to start something. And no, it's not about ASICs, it's about your coin will be used to pump the price of other coins by dumping your shitcoin for BTC and buying other coins with the profit. The fact, that you are unaware of these things doesn't cast such a good light on you as a "dev".
