It's $0.6 now. I think this price could be even higher at this point considering we will see the XRP ledger upgrade soon, but could the hype last even longer after the upgrade? That's the question, I think after the upgrade the price could be dropped because they will sell both of the upgraded coin and XRP for some easy money, the real example is the recent BCH fork last week.

Look at Ripple right now, they are pumping up bad news after bad news (not xrp, I mean ripple the company) when you search for it, but the weird thing is there are tons of people who do not have any idea at all, like literally bunch of people who own XRP but no clue that Ripple has been in the gutter during this pandemic period and the only method they made any money has been selling their XRP to you in order to make profit. 2020 will not be 1 dollar, 2021 will not be 1 dollar neither, whenever xrp goes up, they will find a way to sell bunch of it so that they can profit and you will lose.

With the current price of XRP seems impossible to reach $1 before end of the year but there is a chance that it could hit it, like if there is another event for XRP or the upcoming good news and also bitcoin should pumping again that could help to increase, then XRP will definitely will touch $1 price this year. There are only few days away from their airdop and it seems it is struggling at this price level. Whatever price it reaches during that day will be its ath of the year, I don't have high expectation and I know some people are imagining $13 by the end of the year which seems quite impossible. May be it'll reach that level in few years after they have burn their supply like some people are saying.

I now foresee the trend, and recently stabilized price still didn't increase rapidly just like the middle week of November. That's why it made me realize that purchasing at $0.62 per xrp was a wrong move during that time. Good point. I partly agree that the growth might be caused by SPARK airdrop. Partly, because the distribution was announced before the price began to grow. Either there is an insiders information about SPARK price, or it is just another hype. I believe that Ripple wont hit 1$ in 2020, because it already made a nice jump, and usually Ripple price like to stay in "calm" position for a couple of quarters.

I am not so sure there is enough money in the market to push the price of XRP that high, most of the interest is in bitcoin, and while it has carried the market of altcoins with it we can clearly see most altcoins are nowhere near their ATH, and while a goal of one dollar for each XRP coin is more realistic I do not know if even that goal will be reached, because if bitcoin goes above its ATH a great deal of the money moving in the market will move towards bitcoin and away from altcoins.

Waiting is the right thing to do but we can't force to see $1 this year as the price might dump again.

Looking at the market movement now, it seems like bitcoin is not gonna make an ATH anytime soon, and price will just be bearish again opposite from our expectation. If you've seen the movement lately, bitcoin stays at $19k but struggle to break the big resistance and I believe we need to break that in order for XRP to have another significant rise.

We are free to make our own prediction, it's okay if it's back with facts or valid evidence but to reach $ 10,000, I think that will make bitcoin to be $1 million each, unless a centralized currency will rule the crypto space which I believe impossible to happen.
