Hunters should be proud about the word hunter, bounty hunter is not something to taken lightly. You think back in the day in wild west all bounty hunters managed to go catch the bad guy? I can promise you that there were a lot of bounty hunters who failed and paid with their lives plus there were many that just plain old failed to find.

We hear about the good ones or we play the good ones in games because we can restart. At the end of the day hunting is not a 100% guaranteed thing, sometimes you hit it right in the head and you make a ton of money, or sometimes you fail and get nothing at all. If you are a hunter, the only time you truly fail is the moment you decide to stop, if you stop that means you will never succeed again, but if you continue even though you may fail sometimes, you can at least succeed as well.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Expect some late changes form the team behind the projects since they what the rights to do so. It has never been different from any other bounty campaigns that I joined in the past, just like what happened to Payaccept the team had to make some changes to due its BM was allegedly a scammer, and bounty hunters are force to get and resubmit it in the form anew. It is inevitable since we are only paid workers they are the one that dictates what to do but i hope their doing their job as well fair and honest.

When encounter this situation,i rather just white busy and not submit my private key. If i have to hands over private key,I would create a new wallet address and submit this new one. If not accept new address, then i give up.

Welcome to Bounty world Mate as this is normal and not new,

It is not normal. We should not continue to see that as normal. A fraud is not normal. It is evil and something to stop or control it has to be done. When something of such happens high ranking users here can find a way to tag the user account promoting or managing the bounty. With this managers will be careful accepting new bounties to manage. This is heartbreaking for hunters afer wasting time to be in the bounty.

From bounty airdrops campaigns I have up to 20 coins in my wallet that are dump and this made me stop participating in any for like a year now. In this Crypto world, I have who I refer to as a Crypto mentor recently when I decided to come back to bounty I just asked for advice on few projects I can embark on and it has never been a scam. Don't give up

Can't stop them anyway. They don't have any reason why having here in the forum but just to deceive people.
Scammers won't stop scamming people until nobody has been tricked by this kind of eye-catching offerings. I'd never thought that greedy people had already learned but somehow, they still keep that attitude until now. No wonder why these people still exist.

We cannot stopped this scammers but we can stopped oneself from being scammed. Though as a newbie I joined many bounty but at the end of it all is either there was a mistake in the count of stakes or the money wasn't paid at all at the end of the campaign.

That is seriously a sad reality about bounty hunting for the fact that scam is associated on this industry and many bounty hunters are always at risk of getting scammed or never paid for the job they have done for the project. That is why it is really a must to check for the credibility of the project before engaging for you might get into the trap and you will just end up realizing you have wasted your time into something which is not worth your time and effort and recognizing it after all as a scam one. Such scheme of having too many processes to claim your reward is already an obvious action of buying time to avoid payments for the bounty hunters for they have already achieved what they wanted from them to promote and gain funds using other people's effort and perseverance to earn through bounty hunting. We cannot do anything about it for we are in a vast world where many scammers are scattered around. We just need to be aware to avoid getting caught into such scams for our own sake and welfare.

During the previous bull run, it was the glorious days for bounty hunters. By the time the bounty rewards earned for years gave good profit out of the growth that happened with each and every ICO without reason. Very few got luck to cashout, while most of the users kept hold expecting big. Now things have changed and only the trusted and legitimate one grows whereas the rest gets into scamming as it can't get the investors.

It was a glorious days for bounty hunters in 2017 because every good and bad projects made insane money through crowdfunding and their tokens surge higher due to the present bullrun then, it's not the same today, if projects failed to meet their expectations they tend to cut off bounty hunters or split the bounty allocations, I don't kinda blame them for that, the best bounties of this year all raise funds successful and they hit top exchanges

Smart in seeing opportunities and risks, that's what we need to always underline. If our level of analysis is still lacking, I am sure there are still people willing to help analyze and provide good recommendations before the request is sent which in the end we understand and are born with caution, thus the chance of risk becomes smaller.

SCAM

Bounty hunters got cheated again, actually is this ever going to stop? Do you guys remember OLPORTAL? Bounty hunters are asked to drop ETH address to get tokens and they end up forcing bounty hunters to go and download OLCF wallet and import recovery seed to receive tokens, how did they cheat? Their shit OLCF wallet only accepts Recovery seed only, leaving out those with private keys, you can only import if you are using mycelium or others like it but for those using multi wallet like Coinomi we are out of luck, the team just ignore others like that.
in essence they don't want to pay the bounty like there is one project that is doing the same thing and instead delete the bounty hunter account which has a balance in it I forget again what the name of the project is but it is one coin that is quite popular
This is very detrimental if they cheat where we have to follow their rules when implementing the bounty but they don't carry out their obligation to pay the bounty hunters

Many threads have addressed many issues concerning been scammed but this one is just an example of many projects in the same vein. In crypto market, we have to deal with  issues like this with diligent so has not to fall into another scammed project

If you import your wallet recovery seeds in their wallet isn’t that a very risky thing to do? You will be giving them control over the wallet you’re importing and that means they can take your coins anytime they want to, and you will end up losing two ways, both your money and your tokens that were promised by them.

Moreover we don’t know if this project you’re talking about is real or not. Stop engaging in projects that doesn’t seem legit to you, sometimes your instincts tells you what to do and if you don’t respect that you will regret it later. Be careful Cool.

People very often pay attention to such projects that promise too much, but in fact receive very little and this is at best, since most become victims of their inattention. In any case, if there is a risk to the security of your wallet, then such a project should be bypassed.

Download any wallet is so risky, it could hack your devices as well as your full system even your private keys & important files.must aware & check the security before downloading & installing any unknown wallet.in this case those are not new here, nowadays most of bounties are end up with scam.sometimes start downfall within few days.trusted bounties are few to perticipate.i suggest don't join those kind of bounty who required download their wallet along with ask your seed to receive bounty tokens

Actually I don't believe this will ever stop, this are one of tricks developers has been using in delaying or avoiding hunters payment, not until Bounty managers finally started using escrows, I don't think this issue of scamming of hunters and bounty managers can stop.

Right now I'm starting to fear bounty campaigns that has over 100k worth of dollars tokens because they always find it hard to pay participants even when the project is successful and have high volumes on exchanges, I've noticed that bounty campaigns with very low allocations always find it easy to let go of the rewards because it's small

There are indirect signs of fraud, although sometimes it is very problematic to get a promising airdrop from a Scam. Well, outright deception can be determined immediately.
