I don't know if we're the same but in this school year (2020-2021) Bitcoin is now being introduced to our school, although it may not be introduced to other courses, since I am currently taking Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) hence, we are to take Bitcoin and the history of BTC. It's actually great that schools are putting Bitcoin to their curriculum, with that, I got to share my experience with Bitcoin, I got the chance to share my knowledge about the history of Bitcoin and how much I benefited from this.

I also decided to post it here because I think this is a big leap towards the future, from people doubting about Bitcoin and now, people are heavily relying on it, being informed, buying bitcoins, learning the ways on how to exactly earn bitcoins.

Yes, I agree with you, it is indeed a great leap towards the future, this is because, first it will change any misconceptions people hold about Bitcoin as they will be able to learn the truth and to a great extent, all about Bitcoin. Secondly it is a big leap towards the future because, as more people learn about Bitcoin, they will extend the knowledge to others and through that way, more people within your school and within the school location will also get to know and understand what Bitcoin offers.
Lastly, with this step, I believe with time more schools will gradually incorporate Bitcoin into their curriculum or courses thereby further expanding the knowledge thereof, also I believe with your school taking this step sooner than later they will likely start accepting Bitcoin for payment of tution; one step at a time and it will be actuallized.

In the UK, there are several universities that accept bitcoin for paying tuition fees.

Its interesting, but in the long term I would rather keep bitcoin and pay off the fees at a later date.

Nice move by the universities accepting bitcoin as tuition fees. If one paid when bitcoin was very cheap then whatever the student gave the school would increase many times and the school would be able to get more cash one they converted that on a bull period. And I think after the previous bull run in 2017, then in my own opinion, they will adjust their prices based on that previous bull run so that they can be able to ask for much more amount of bitcoin on a bear season and the price might be more than what is the actual tuition fee so that in the bull period they would be able to encash it and get much much more dollars.
wouldnt that be fair if i were the student of that school and im force to pay that high . they shouldnt make the tuition fee overpriced but its okay to adjust the fee from time to time because btc value is also changing but they should only match it based on the current value of btc that day and there will be no problems to student that are willing to use thier btc but if not then students are going to pay in fiat form instead . the school accept btc as payment but that school also have btc as thier subject ?

Great now more people would be interested in it since they would know it's true value.
They would understand it better and it is better for them to start saving in an early age and be open minded.

It's awesome to know that what many people can only happen in the distant future is already happening. Bitcoin being introduced into the school curriculum is a great leap towards the mass adoption of bitcoin in the mainstream world.
I believe people are beginning to see how bitcoin has benefitted people over the years and how it can benefit people more in the future. With bitcoin introduced in the curriculum, many who don't know what bitcoin is will be introduced to it and already bitcoin users will be free to share their experiences just like OP did.
I tell people that at this rate, it is only a matter of time before bitcoin becomes the worldwide currency.

It is very nice. some countries have added bitcoin subjects. that means, more and more will recognize the advantages of bitcoin in its use. Maybe in the following days, all schools around the world will add bitcoin as a subject.

That's really cool. Good job! How has the reception been? Has it been positive? This is a great move towards actually teaching something useful in schools with real-world use. We are not taught how to make money in school and it makes no sense. What's the point of having knowledge if you have nowhere to live?

That's quite good especially when Bitcoin itself becomes a topic not just in the conversation but also included in the lesson itself. I strongly think that it should not just be for Information Technology students or those who are taking Computer Science, but it should also be introduced to other courses especially those that are focusing on Business and Finance as they will be the one to encounter Bitcoin in the future. I remember when I visited a bank, they ask me tons of questions about what Bitcoin is all about since they are still uncertain of its value. These uncertainties should at least be fixed in the future as the students and the next generation will be packed with the general knowledge about Bitcoin.

I hope blockchain will be part of a course related to technology, once the students get familiarized with it, they will have the foundation to dive deeper into the crypto space. I'm a Computer Science graduate, and we haven't discussed anything related to it. Some students just discover it through the web, but rarely talk about it.

This is good that bitcoin is spreading its information in university. As far as I know here in our country mostly in school or university they don't offer this kind of teaching to what truly is bitcoin. Good to know there is a subject that tackle about bitcoin but hoping they should also have this in other course so other students can have an idea about cryptocurrency.

Or shall we say that it should really be put up in part of Economics class and that would be great if we do able to see it on other parts of the world on such subject would really be
added into the curriculum and this would really give out more awareness and knowledge into people who had been taught by it specially on new generations now and when that
happen then that will surely give out positive effect into the entire market and this shows some progress about adoption which is always been on the move
as years do pass by.Its good to see that there are already increasing numbers of school that showing off this kind of possibility.

School's are great place for children to learn about Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency. The next generation should be educated about how the coming years may form through Bitcoin, and how financial system can be much more optimized and stable and not be centralized. Which school is this? I can see their education system is not obsolete.

OP did not disclose where school he is going to. But seeing this kind of topics being talked about in their school is a sign that Philippines has a good future about bitcoin and blockchain techs. If more students will be taught about it then less scams would happen, people would be aware that it's not a currency used to scam which is commonly known here in that country.

Good initiation by your school because you are related to the technology so there is a chance that they will tackle about the use of the bitcoin or the blockchain on my institute we don't have a subject related on the bitcoin instead we have a seminar about the blockchain and the bitcoin some of my fellow classmates made already an investment to this because they know the capability of getting profit by just having an investment, Its looks like that the bitcoin today is rapidly growing time by time.

This is good too if someone enlightens them about the scams, different kind of scams, like ponzi scheme what are the things to identify the scam, hopefully, some of the students will catch their attention on this kind of topic.

This makes me feel so old. Bitcoin wasn't even invented until I had finished school. I was always interested in finance so I probably would've enrolled in these classes, although it is probably better to learn things on your own instead of from someone who might lump Bitcoin with all of crypto without any nuance.

I'm from Philippines, and I'm glad to hear that bitcoins are now being included as subject in school or in that certain University.
Its no surprised that you guys tackled the blockchain topics in your classes in school because of your course which is BSIT. We are fully aware that Bitcoins features and Blockchain jobs are mostly related to IT thing. So, its pretty cool that more young individuals will learned everything about bitcoins and the blockchain industry so they will be fully aware and more prepared to enter the digital world, more ready to earn great profits and to invest at a young age. These young minds are the hope for the future's economy growth and the development of our country as a whole. And its a wise move to learn more about bitcoins nowadays. Its a great help, indeed.

I am very impress with your testimony. I strongly believe that nations will see the need to add blockchain technology in their education curriculums. Also, let us make it our responsibility to sensitize people on blockchain technology  letting them know how viable it is to the world.

This is good and good news, because bitcoin education from an early age is the right step for future adoption and how Bitcoin will be used.
I hope Bitcoin Education is taught in all schools in the world and becomes an important subject in schools
I hope so but we know the only teach of the schools is how to have a job and they did not teach on how in investing in online like this which is more is good for the people who are interested to the online.

It's time for the change because it will really help for the student this kind of opportunity and make have a netter life in the future most of the jobs will not turn you rich but this everything is possible and that is reason why I want every school teach bitcoin or crypto to their student.

The wait is over for different association to adopt bitcoin in their activities and curriculum, its shocking that professor in my school is isn't aware of bitcoin and its payment system, even young school leavers have no knowledge about cryptocurrency, which is why this must be taught in everyday lesson to enable younger ones at tender age, teenagers, adults have a clue knowledge about the latest means of payment and money handling mechanism.
