A topic that is often and boring, in fact until now nothing can replace Bitcoin and it seems that nothing can replace the position of bitcoin that continues to dominate as the king of coins.
Altcoin is just a clone of Bitcoin which in my opinion will not be as perfect as the original, the movement of Bitcoin will affect Altcoins and is the most popular of all time and if to compete it will likely exist but cannot shift it.

No any altcoin can compete with bitcoin and in the future there will not be a single altcoin that can surpass bitcoin, so we shouldn't even think about it, and in general, without bitcoin there would be no other cryptocurrencies and I think that bitcoin will always remain in the first place in cryptocurrency world.

will not exist and will never happen because BTC is a pawn of crypto so the main crypto symbol is btc.
even though there will be an altcoin with better development than the current altcoin, the price will still depend on btc, or have a BTC pair.

I don't think that will happen easily since bitcoin is still dominating the market with its volume of all. I think there's some DeFi Project as of now that exceeds the price of bitcoin but still, the volume is big deal knowing that there's a lot of people who are investing or holding some bitcoin for their future with their own style. We can say that it is possible that there's altcoin can beat the bitcoin in terms of value and volume but that's too far to happen and as of now we cannot still imagine that the bitcoin itself will fall as long as there are people who are still trusting bitcoin and the adoption of using it is still continuous.

Dear sir I think bitcoin is mother of all cryptocurrencies and as far as your question is concerned I think altcoins cannot replace it in near decade, Although bitcoin is going down from Last few months but altcoins need lots of time to grow.

I do not see any altcoins that can surpass bitcoin in terms of market capitalization, volume and liquidity. You can observe the dominance of the bitcoin on how far the gap between the bitcoin and all of the altcoins. There are altcoins that can become valuable to the future because of their products but it is not enough to beat the bitcoin and replace it. People are continuing to patronize the bitcoin and most of the investors are focusing on it and they do not giving care to altcoins. For me that the dominance of the bitcoin will increase more once the bitcoin create a new ath.

Will the rise of altcoins eventually lead to the demise of Bitcoin? Ultimately Bitcoin has been tested and it has a place in the crypto world. Join our  discord https://discord.gg/pp7Jwsp9 for further discussions about this topic. Tell me what you think?
Well, there's a possibility though since crypto is almost unpredictable after all. However, looking at the performance of any Altcoins it is quite far for them to exceed this one. Even the king of Altcoin which is ETH can barely to dethrone Bitcoin from its position. Perhaps if that a certain altcoin could perform better on Bitcoin, better features will have possibly to dethrone it. Unfortunately, everyone seems more unto Bitcoin, the community is much bigger and in fact, its keep growing as the world government and big corporation starting to venture in it. Thereby, I think it will take a lot of decades for it to happen.

BIG WINNER!

Never. Altcoins won't displace Bitcoin. Regardless of all advances made by altcoins with swift transactions speed and low gas fees, Bitcoin will at present stand out of altcoins. Regardless of whether altcoins have much better features they are extremely distant from getting adopted. Most of altcoins consistently attempt to rival Bitcoin and that is the place where they miss the point. Bitcoin and altcoins will exist together.

Noway. such forecasts or desires won't occur. Bitcoin remains the top cryptocurrency at present been recognzied universally by everybody both individuals and government. it is greater than the other altcoins. The current market cap is immense contrasted with altcoins by and large. the market predominance stays a power which altcoins can not draw down.

By now you should already know the answer, many altcoins have better use cases, cheap transaction fees and better utilities and they still can't replace bitcoin, it's not always about what a project have in store, sometimes a chevy impala will earn more respects than a lamborghini, in crypto space all old projects are more like a gold compare to new projects

The capitalization of bitcoin unambiguously says then that Bitcoin is and will be the leader of the cryptocurrency market, while its value and leadership is supported by fairly large players. But it seems to me that no one else would raise any doubts about this, bitcoin needs to cope with the main problem, which consists of poor scalability. But even if this factor is not taken into account, Bitcoin in the future will be the most reliable storage for money.

Bitcoin has been tested and stand the test of time. Till this present moment I don't see any altcoin which will replace Bitcoin in this cryptomarket but don't know what the future holds for these altcoin if there will be any to compete with bitcoin in the coming years.

There is an issues indeed in bitcoin scalability but I think in the future there will be an improvement on it's features. This has been already discussed as others claimed that bitcoin will be replace by alts but until now no any alts able to replace bitcoin. As we look into the current situations bitcoins has the highest dominance in the market and alts just follow.

As you know, Bitcoin is the first altcoin that was created, and after that, Etherium launched a blockchain where tokens can be created. Etherium solved the problem of launching more tokens on the blockchain. Still, Bitcoin is superior to other altcoins, and anyone another altcoin can't replace Bitcoin, even Etherium, and demand for Bitcoin is increasing day by day. In the future, Bitcoin will be a high price now.

If any altcoin can do better than bitcoin then majority of altcoins shouldn't be relying on bitcoin market to pump hard, is Bitcoin even a worthy challenger for new altcoins? Because top 10 altcoins consists of more old altcoins than new altcoins and still yet no single altcoin beat Ethereum, why bitcoin vs altcoins when altcoins can't even beat Ethereum? It's a lame comparison

Nobody can predict the future, let alone predict something until the world is destroyed, here everyone is just having a discussion according to what he has seen, so it's not a problem if someone doesn't agree with what we say, because it's not an obligation.

In the world of cryptocurrency, anything can be.  We do not know what will happen in the cryptocurrency market in another ten years.  I see that the popularity, capitalization and price of bitcoin is kept high mainly due to the hope and belief that it will continue to grow in value.  As Bitcoin is expected to rise substantially next year after this year's halving, this will be another test for this coin.  It also cannot be denied that altcoins are developing very rapidly now.  No one can say yet what results such development will lead to.

although currently there are many altcoins that continue to grow rapidly, it seems that none of them will be able to replace the role of bitcoin now or in the future, including ethereum. despite the ethereum infrastructure and level of flexibility that Bitcoin lacks. On the other hand, Bitcoin offers a number of value and secure transaction settlement networks designed to operate as money, right down to its monetary supply. Even if Ethereum's market share equals or exceeds Bitcoin's market share, investors should not consider Ethereum to be a superior Blockchain network over Bitcoin. And vice versa, Bitcoin investors shouldn't stop Ethereum because of Bitcoin's smaller market share. These two Blockchain networks clearly offer unique features and infrastructure and are sought after by the market. Both of these digital currencies have their own uniqueness so that they both have a strong correlation.

Currently Bitcoin is still the king or queen of every other type of coin. But it is possible that there will be new coins that will appear to equalize Bitcoin later. maybe.
HAHAHA Grin, I start laughing when you say "there will be new coins that will appear to equalize Bitcoin later", Do you know how many years Bitcoin was developed and gradually evolved within crypto? if you don't know that, try to find out first, and one more thing, do you know how difficult it is to build a new coin to match itself with Bitcoin?  Huh

Everyone has their own opinion, but it seems you don't really accept what i say. It's okay. Have you made sure that Bitcoin will continue to top until the world is destroyed?

Who says it's difficult to create a new coin mate? Literally people can add fresh coin with contract addresses on Uniswap these days.

The math here however, is all about the bitcoin and altcoin rivalry. In short word, NO, it's not possible for any of the altcoin to takeover the bitcoin so far and ever ahead. Altcoin do not follow the patterns of bitcoin, they are uncontrolled entities and tend to disappear over the period of time if no developments are seen in them. Literally people look at them as profit making machine and thus it fails to gain popularity like bitcoin did since the birth.

They will always be like a bus, come and go!
