The impossible thing is being discussed by many people, if Altcoins can indeed replace Bitcoin as the king of digital currencies, why not before or in 2017 where altcoin growth was growing big in 2017, why are we only now discussing it, in my opinion not there is something that can replace Bitcoin as the king of Cryptocurrency until now, many coins or altcoins that have sprung up, none of which can replace Bitcoin at the top of Cryptocurrency, instead Altcoins have followed the growth of Bitcoin to date, I think it will not happen in the future that altcoins will replacing Bitcoin, that's just a joke in my opinion ...
I feel that way too. it is almost impossible to replace bitcoin with where they are today. besides that bitcoin is also the first crypto pioneer, where people are getting to know crypto, investing in crypto and using crypto. there is no way to replace bitcoin

I think that is impossible to happen because bitcoin its likely e-gold now some of 1st world country already accepted the bitcoin as store of value. I watched some news about bitcoin on CNN and I saw the first time of appearance the pair of USD/BTC on CNN. So it means the root of the bitcoin goes really deep.
Yes, it is very clear that Bitcoin has become the best over the years, but if people are storing value in Bitcoin at this point in time, I think it is still very risky because the price is still unstable and there are still frequent price drops in the market.

Its definitely impossible because Bitcoin is a mother coin for crypto industry. Because when a new project comes and we want to buy from this project then we should use bitcoin or ethereum coin. And when we made a transaction in bitcoin must we have to bitcoin that means we should buy bitcoin. That's means we generate volume in bitcoin. So we can say its impossible to take bitcoin place

Will the rise of altcoins eventually lead to the demise of Bitcoin? Ultimately Bitcoin has been tested and it has a place in the crypto world. Join our discord https://discord.gg/pp7Jwsp9 for further discussions about this topic. Tell me what you think? as long as Bitcoin has loyal investors and whales, there will be no Altcoin that can replace Bitcoin even though that Altcoin is issued by a country like China or the US. To replace Bitcoin, that Altcoin must have a valuation and value that far exceeds Bitcoin, the value can be manipulated (for example, YFI) but for this, the valuation cannot be manipulated. So the conclusion is "to replace Bitcoin is an impossible job"..

Altcoin can actually supplant Bitcoin, Bitcoin is the dad of all digital currency and without Bitcoin, I don't think there's a crypto, numerous organizations and large organizations have put colossal measure of cash in bitcoin and that should disclose to us that bitcoin is the motor driving the whole crypto industry. Each business has a remarkable capacity, and what's more terrible for altcoins is that they need to flourish in a network with not many real clients.

It has been a question of lots of users here in the forum for years but Bitcoin's foundation is still firm to hold the title of the Father of all cryptocurrencies. As for me, no coin could ever replace Bitcoin because it has gained the trust of most investors already. It has maintained its good reputation and has passed all the tests of time. Most altcoins are also dependant on it so it will be hard for any coin to reach all the achievements that Bitcoin has achieved.

I don't think Altcoins will replace Bitcoin. Bitcoin is here from the starting so it is the most trusted and reliable cryptocurrency in the market and generally whenever we talk about cryptocurrencies common people think those who are not a part of this market understand only Bitcoin as a cryptocurrency. Most of the common people do not know about altcoins. Ultimately I would say bitcoin will remain the king on cryptocurrencies.

Bitcoin will always be the top priority of the traders and can never be placed by any other major altcoins the market today, ethereum is not even close. Bitcoins still dictates the flow of market, as you can how much of an impact bitcoin brought the market lately, that how bitcoin can be an influencer.

altcoin to replace bitcoin seems still unattainable. just look at bitcoin now with a high price that altcoins cannot catch up with. with a small total supply I think bitcoin will continue to be king in crypto

That's because bitcoin is the first coin and still dominates the cryptoqurrency market, so it's no wonder that many people support and invest in it. and the presence of altcoins for investment alternatives other than bitcoin. so altcoins and bitcoins need each other.

I don't see in the chart that altcoins is rising I've checked the Bitcoin dominance it's still the same so you are posting a useless question because these altcoins and that includes Ethereum a threat, they are not a threat as long as Bitcoin dominance is still more than 50%

You are right. I totally agree with you. In fact, the existence of Altcoin without Bitcoin is unthinkable. All altcoins are dependent on bitcoin but bitcoin is not dependent on any altcoin. New altcoins are constantly coming and the rank of altcoins is changing. But bitcoin is the king from the beginning. I think this forum is the best place to discuss about this. I don't think it is needed to join the discord channel.

Although altcoins are on the rise, nobody can dethrone BTC in the current course. When we watch the BTC movements, altcoins begin to fall immediately at the slightest drop. Likewise, when BTC rises sharply, altcoins are falling again and people are turning to BTC. Currently, no tokens or coins can replace BTC and affect BTC's direction of the market. But none of us can know what will happen in the future.

how do you want to replace it ?, altcoins are still altcoins, and Bitcoin will always be in position, nothing can replace Bitcoin, bitcoin is phenomenal so don't expect altcoins to be number one.

Altcoins can't replace bitcoin, bitcoin can't be overthrown by any altcoin because btc is still the best coin so far and will definitely remain the same in years to come.

Everything is possible in the market but I think that bitcoin will remain the most dominant and popular coin till next 10 to 15 years and It will hit 1 million in value for sure if not 10 million and this recent wave of institutional interest and investments is one big stimulus that willcreate more demand for limited btc.
I would not be so categorical and make a forecast for such a long period as 10-15 years and limit myself to five years, for example. Bitcoin acts as a locomotive in the recognition of cryptocurrencies by the real world and all success in this business is usually associated with bitcoin, but there is no guarantee that after universal recognition, a more successful and promoted competitor will not appear But of course, in the near future, I think the position of bitcoin as the number one cryptocurrency will be unshakable.
