I agree with your statement, if there is a statement that says like the statement above then it is a joke according to me, because there is no way Altcoin can replace bitcoin.
Yes, and if you are dealing with someone who makes a statement like that, try asking him, can Altcoins still live when Bitcoin is dead? or whether Altcoins can still survive in a market without Bitcoin, and see what the answer is. Bitcoin once existed without altcoins. In my opinion, altcoins can now also exist without bitcoin. However, no one will replace anyone. This is the market and the strongest survive on it. We do not know in which direction the development of cryptocurrency will go and who will ultimately survive. Everything changes and improves over time. Altcoins will exist and develop in any case.

It is possible for altcoins to replace Bitcoin. There are a lot of altcoins coming up in the cryptocurrency space regularly and a few of them are actually very good and have good potential. But they need time to grow and develop before they can compete with Bitcoin.
doubt. I think bitcoin is fundamental and also the foundation of crypto, imo. the simplest example is the bullish which is strongly influenced by bitcoin. although there are some coins that can still survive the influence of bitcoin, but we cannot deny that bitcoin is very influential in almost all altcoins

for enthusiasts it is possible for now altcoin is again rising in popularity as people's minds are starting to open up in managing the future by managing and investing in crypto form. for a few months now altcoin is indeed more dominant than bitcoin but this is only for the whole and not for individual coins because until now there has not been any altcoin that has beaten the dominance of bitcoin in price until now. bitcoin is still the king of all available coins and this is also true for altcoin

It is never possible for any altcoins to replace Bitcoin. Because Bitcoin is the first ever cryptocurrency to be created and every other cryptocurrency is valued according to Bitcoin. So it will be very hard and also take a good number of years before any altcoin could replace Bitcoin.

To my knowledge it is very difficult Altcoins can replace Bitcoin, Bitcoin is the king of all cryptocurrencies, if bitcoin does not exist then all altcoins do not work anymore, bitcoin is the engine of cryptocurrency movement

Altcoins replacing bitcoin Depends on the specific context you have in mind. If you are taking from the perspective of a cryptocurrency for making and initiating transactions, i think there are thousands of coins and tokens that already fulfill that purpose If you're talking from the perspective of an investment option, also there are lots of cryptos that have proven to be better investment options to bitcoin
But if you're talking about being the top cryptocurrency in popularity and worldwide acceptance, then i dont see any cryptocurrency replacing BTC

Although altcoins are on the rise, it is not possible for them to replace bitcoin. bitcoin is the pioneer of this market and it is the strongest coin in the market. It is a unique project with its technology, infrastructure and number of investors. bitcoin is considered to be the greatest investment tool for all. It is very difficult or impossible for a coin to succeed in replacing bitcoin in this market.

Will the rise of altcoins eventually lead to the demise of Bitcoin? Ultimately Bitcoin has been tested and it has a place in the crypto world. Join our discord https://discord.gg/pp7Jwsp9 for further discussions about this topic. Tell me what you think? I'm not sure if someday there will be an altcoin that can replace bitcoin in cryptocurency because bitcoin is the first coin in the crypto world. then there is no way altcoins can make bitcoin die in cryptocurency. and in my opinion there is no reason bitcoin dies just because there are better altcoins than bitcoin in the future.

One thing I can confirm is that Bitcoin will never be replaced by any altcoins. Bitcoin is strongly decentralized, secure thanks to POW, and is always #1 on the charts. The price drop of a few hours ago has shown us that Bitcoin can never be replaced by any altcoin because when Bitcoin drops in price, no altcoin can rise in price. Bitcoin is like the leading bird, when it stops the other birds have to stop to watch.

I think there are no altcoins that can replace bitcoin. we know that bitcoin is the highest coin or parent of crypto. there are also many altcoins that follow the price of btc in the market so that it indicates that bitcoin has a big influence on the crypto market. there are also many types of altcoins while bitcoin is only one, so it will be difficult to replace bitcoin in the crypto world

The technology that exists today is because the first blockchain created was bitcoin. if there is something new that can replace bitcoin, it is certainly a new technology and of course different from bitcoin. no one has replaced bitcoin I agree. in marketcap itself to this day bitcoin is also the largest. no one can compete with it. whether it's Ethereum or other crypto. to this day bitcoin is still the main one

Maybe it can't. Cause its very hard to overcome btc. There is not enough competition. The king of alts eth is also 10 times far from btc. So for atleast 5/10 years its quite hard.

Yes, and for example it is very clear at this point where when Bitcoin is experiencing a decline in price, all Altcoins are also following it so the market looks red with a huge dump, so how can Altcoins be able to replace Bitcoin? I don't think there is any altcoin that can replace bitcoin, and as you have demonstrated above that basically altcoins will follow bitcoin, Even coins like Ethereum that are really good will never replace bitcoin

From my own personal view, no Altcoin can ever replace Bitcoin, Bitcoin is the father of all crypto currency and without Bitcoin, i dont think theres a crypto, many institutions and big companies have invested huge amount of money in bitcoin and that should tell us that bitcoin is the engine driving the entire crypto industry ,if bitcoin dies which i know will never happen, am afraid but the whole crypto industry might collaspe.
That's about how I see it too, I believe two or three Alts will eventually capture the majority of the crypto market cap however.

Since Bitcoin first created and traded on the market, no one others altcoin possible to replace Bitcoin based on marketcap. We have seen BTC dominance reached above 70% about 1 year ago, and many altcoin dumped alot. Currently only Bitcoin touched marketcap above $1 trillion, and Bitcoin was succesfull did it only for about 10 years, compare with others big stocks like Apple or Microsoft take longer to reached $1 triilion of marketcap. Bitcoin is only the asset that offer biggest return of investment until 1 million % since first traded and really changed financial of many people in the world. At the moment I dont see any altcoin can beat Bitcoin.
