I've been considering some ways to increase the distribution further within a growing community without doing the usual giveaways etc.

I remembered one of the Tor project devs. once giving a presentation on 'Incentive Mechanisms' for running Tor Relays !

So, I propose to giveaway 50% of my initial CommunityCoins over an extended duration to anyone prepared to run a Tor Relay.

Anyone doing this will receive an initial 'set-up' donation and also receive a weekly ongoing payment for as long as the node remains active. These rewards will diminish over time to cope with demand and their will ofc be a total max. allocation.

Each Tor Relay should be a new named Relay with proper port forwarding on the router. This could make for the perfect opportunity to turn your old 32 bit windows xp machines into a linux Tor Relay running on your 'home' router.

CommunityCoin Tor Relays can be identified as active via the Atlas and also torstatus.blutmagie.de

I propose that Relays are named as something random+COMM i.e. MyTorRelayCOMM

I'm still working out a possible payments structure with my available CommunityCoin funds and will start a new thread soon.

Up to 500+ additional Tor Relays should be a very good way to create interest in this new coin and help to build a community.

The Tor software has great settings to control bandwidth usage if your worried about any restrictions with your ISP. Its even possible to have your Relay set to switch on at night and to then switch off during the day when you want to use the bandwidth for yourself.

Is cold storage with this coin even possible?  Even so, I think the chances of my pc being hacked are pretty slim, I would think there are much better targets  And I would still like to think that a decent pass would at least make it difficult.

This is my application. I posted my wallet at ecoiner. I like this idea, because it seems difficult to get a coin to succeed and this coin seems promising. I like that your requirements are fairly strict, because you want to find the people who spend more time thinking and supporting the overall bitcoin community, rather than the people who consistently post their one-liner FUD's. This coins best chance of succeeding is to screen applicants exactly as you're doing. I'd love to be a part of this.

The distribution of COMM is ongoing, although a bit slowly.
You call the COMM is scam just because you "beleive" this coin will never be 100% distributed.

u are trying to avoid my question.  where does this 10,000 come from.??!!!!! answer me !!! answer my question directly.  and, how long do you plan to complete distribution. any schedule at all .  or until it hit any exchange market.  and you will be the person dump all the coins and disappear.
