Mia the djungarian 'gamble hamster' will power high-stakes marble races with her trusty hamster wheel.

After just over two years of development, on Sunday a new form of gambling will be released to the Ethereum world on mainnet: hamster-powered marble races.

Powered by Mia, a female djungarian or “winter white dwarf” hamster and her trusty hamster wheel, the project, dubbed “Mia & the Marbles,” is an automated marble-racing and gambling platform from a group of independent developers.

While the concept behind the project may seem… whimsical, in an interview with Cointelegraph the development team for ‘M&M’ revealed how carefully the racing platform has been thought out.

“We guarantee races that are provably fair, provably live and easily-verifiable,” the devs said. “We can guarantee that the races are taking place in real-time and are not pre-recorded. We do this with our provably live video stream that shows the first 8 bits of the current Ethereum blockhash physically on the race track with 8 movable pegs. A high peg stands for a 1, a low peg for a 0.”

This game is the most fair game that I have ever known because the possibilities are almost equal and the factors that only gives an advantage to one marble is the placement. This game also gives us a live marble race so we can see who really wins. This kind of games is what we need to spread because it has a lot of thrill and very entertaining.

Okay , I cannot get enough of the cute hamster , but I do think the only way one should go about this is if the hamsters are taken good care of , they are not misused or anything. They need to get proper food , rest and stay hydrated so that Nothing bad happens and the safety of the equipments also needs to be checked. Now we move onto the other thing:
Isn't this going to be a small scale game ? I do believe it would be incredibly fair since the little guy won't do anything, good idea though this way your pet will be engaged and you can also start a small business without hurting anyone.
The probability would be 1/10 and betting on the marble means some people would want to check on all of them for deformities and even the equipments. How would you go about that part ??

Oh wow, this seems interesting. I never expected an IRL marble race, I actually thought it was akin to something like Twitch's Marble race thingy (dunno what it's called, just had the fortune to see it a few times). It looks nice, and the addition of the obstacles being connected as well as the bits of the hash being connected is a nice surprise. Never really thought of it that way, though if there was a way to increase the number of obstacles that'd be nice. A nice basis would be that marble race thingy on youtube.

Ofc, adding this and accommodate it with provably fair elements may be difficult but Idrk. If it were to develop to something like this, then a marble league lead by that lil hamster could well be on its way.

Just like the other members here in the forum, I had no idea about this game, I think this type of games came from Japan, China, Korea but not so sure but the most closest is the Philippines, because they have a color game in the festival carnival where you need to choose a color then you will only win if the color you choose is the one will appear something like that. But surely it is an easy game 100%.

Sometimes, people only learn the basic lesson on those games and do not know more details because they found that the game is attractive, and they play that game because of their curiosity. Those marbles should really be weighted to the last ounce, because a slight difference in weight and specifications for the marble means a high chance for that ‘oddball’ to always win seeing that the race is mostly gravity-assisted. It is good that you have official account in the forum. A lot of users here in this thread thought that you don't have account yet. Anyway, the gambling board here is the usual go-to of gamblers. If you can add bitcoin as part of payment method in your site, you can easily post your own thread in the gambling section. I don't know if it would be easy in your current set-up though. This thread itself attracted attention as compared to your own thread in games & rounds.

This is indeed a gravity assisted type of game and just like on lotteries too where balls had been fairly weighed in before it would be drawn so that it will show up some fairness
because the lighter the ball its likely to be drawn out.

Just like into this game where ball weight would really be a big factor for it to reach it first to the bottom.Those obstacles arent really that challenging where a eth-shaped
that spins and some pillars that do only comes out on a very delay manner.
