For me, who prefers to use a PC to make cryptocurrency transactions, it is not important if projects don't have a mobile wallet. So in my opinion everyone has different tastes, so some are comfortable using a mobile wallet, some are not. Because for me a mobile wallet is only a complement, it is not a necessity for new projects to have a mobile wallet.
The main reason for liking a mobile wallet is it is easy to access you only need mobile data and you can now use your wallet where ever you are unlike PC that you need to be at home to transfer your funds to another wallet. That's the reason why many people prefered it and want a project to have their own mobile wallet it's easy for them to do that if they have enough funding they can hire developer if ever they need help .

Yes mobile wallet just make things more easier, I've turned away from many new projects because they don't build mobile wallet, not everyone owns a computer but everyone owns a smartphone, I'm wondering what our developers are thinking this days, infact mobile wallets should always comes first
The ease in use of mobile wallet makes transactions easy and swift however developers who had not build their mobile wallets are probably taking their time to fix it vulnerability we all aware of surging cases of hackers gaining access to the vulnerable wallets, exchanges e.t.c and stealing coins, there maybe some bugs that might not easily detected in course of using the wallet where hackers can capitalize and gain easy access to the wallet, I believed its every plan to introduce mobile wallet after the PC version however it must be well perfected and free from any bug before releasing it online.

Hello, If you're looking a project who can develop a mobile wallet I will recommend to you Elrond.com its a sPOS system to secured the network. And they will release the mobile app by the January 31, 2021 that is the game changer for me. You can download the app on google/ app store by you need to wait until the official launch.

In 2017 I couldn't mine some new coins because they have no mobile wallet, you have to sync the whole blockchain before making transactions, I had no choice but to find another new coins that have mobile wallets, it makes things more easier and convenient, I invested in Veil coin because I see the project as a gem in disguise, I had to borrow my friend PC to create Veil wallet just to have my recovery seed and address, today I can't even see my coins in wallet since I have no PC and even if I had one I would have to sync the whole blockchain that have grown higher over Gigabytes in size. I'm with you OP, mobile wallet is way better

Don't blame people for not investing when you aren't making things easier for them, mobile users are much more than PC users, dear developers start considering mobile wallet pls
I'm not storing my coins in my mobile but I do understand the concern, majority of the people here in this world own a mobile and majority of the people are also aware or in fact using a mobile wallet, that is why so many popular desktop wallets like Exodus had one, so for token developer it's important that you have one for the community.

Honestly if any new project doesn't work on mobile wallet first they are missing out big time, I remember when I was trying to promote an item through affiliate, the item will only reward me if PC users visit the link and I used a paid marketing tool to advertise the item, guess what? Out of 20,000 visitors I got only 4,579 or so are PC users, the rest are on mobile phone, if you are a developer let that sink in.

That actually depends on the person what device they are often using. There are people who prefer to use web wallet because they are more spending time using their personal computer, while there are people who are preferring to use mobile wallets because they want it to be convenient when they want to buy or sell especially when they are not in their house since you can access your wallet as long as you have an internet connection, you can always check your holdings.

It's becoming a frustrating issue when new project you have interest in have no mobile wallet, for over a year and half now I've waited for a project to built their mobile wallet but nothing so far, what are developers thinking? We are in an era where by mobility is the best choice for most people, who still sits in from on a computer just to send coins ? You also have to keep syncing the coin blockchain too to stay updated.

But sometimes mobile can't be that so powerful the same as PC. I understand that mobile becomes a trend in many industries. Even in web developing industries where they prefer a website to be acceesible and readable in mobile devices. The convenience is there in mobile for specific purpose but it's not having the same capabilities as the desktop machines we got.

Veil privacy coin had this issue with their wallet, kept synchronizing and synchronizing with their heavy files. I eventually abandoned them and deleted nthe app housing my coins, just won't need it. Mobile wallet or integration with other existing wallets is important.

The mobile wallet is more convenient for newbies but it doesn't offer something special for average users. Everything the traders can do with mobile wallets can be done through the web wallets and the security of desktop or web wallets are better compared to risks injected malware on rooted smartphones. Mobile wallets are good as hot wallets because the malware will not able to steal more than 1 BTC in case of getting hacked. My advice is to avoid downloading third-party applications from external sources because the malware can be inside the installation package of cracked Android apps.

Sometimes I get paranoid waiting for blocks to finish syncing on desktop wallet, windows precisely. It's true that most crypto enthusiasts use mobile wallets more often, compared to desktop wallet. This year, I've used desktop wallets for transactions just very few times, but I often use mobile wallet precisely trust wallet. Any project without mobile wallet, not really my thing.

Yes, a mobile wallet is important nowadays. But some project takes time to develop mobile wallets. If your project roadmap said that the development will be available in the next six months. After that time if they didn't develop or didn't post any update. Then take that project as a scam or dead project. They are not going to keep their words in the future.

no doubt about usage mobile wallet for average users, but regarding to the security of the mobile wallet you only generelize for rooted smartphone though the number of rooted smartphone users are lower that unrooted smartphone users. So for them who don't root their device it should be safe enough to use in normal transaction activities. Then, one of the reason the porject don't build the mobile wallet is the cost to build it. If the porject see the opportunities of customer satisfaction that gain the profit they will consider the building of mobile wallet in its roadmap. Please check deeper before you decide to invest so you will not regret.

very true, why do you have to make a platform option with a wallet if that is not what the project is designed for? I think the wallet problem can be resolved with a third party wallet provider that has good credibility and security, the rest just focus on building the platform.

Hmm, this is the first time I have heard that our mobile wallet can be affected by malware on our smartphones because as far as I'm concern I have not encountered any problem on mobile wallet on my almost four years in this crypto world. Could you educate us more on this malware on mobile wallet mate?

That is what befalls the new task on the grounds that huge numbers of that undertaking can not run their venture as long as possible. Huge numbers of the ventures drop their undertaking or quit building up the task in light of numerous components we don't have a clue. Moreover, in as much as building up a portable wallet makes a stage look genuine, one actually should be cautious since building up a versatile wallet is a certain something and keeping up it through more Improvements is another, and this is the place where most group are discovered needing.

Why must a crypto user root his or her phone? That's not already a safe process, rooting an android phone isn't secured anymore and can easily be infected with malwares, there is more that meet the eye when it comes to a rooted phone, it automatically becomes a open door where anyone can come in and go out when they like.
