It's a money grab fight but I'm still watching just because I love fights and this would likely be more entertaining than previous clown fest fights that happened this year. More of an exhibition than an actual fight, but we'll see. Any bettors out there? I would love to know your thoughts and favorites on this bout.

Well, it is an exhibition match so no shit that it is a money grab fight plus Mayweather is already retired so there's no point saying that it is a title fight. I would love if the bets included which round that the fight ends and if the player is correct on who wins and which round, the player's bet is going to be multiplied.

Indeed, it's all money and nothing else. Mayweather will be living up to his name as Floyd Money, we know that from the very beginning. Though IMO, this fight is gonna be boring to watch, but I still believe there are people who would fall in love in this kind of exhibition fight, both fighters would still make money from this fight, maybe not as big as Mayweather made before.

I don't think anybody cares about the undercard. They could have no undercard fights and the PPV will still sell. They won't put Jake Paul on there because they can make more money putting him on his own main event. With only one week to prepare, they are not going to risk him being KO'd by some Uber driver they find at the last minute.


What I find annoying is that every big fight recently has had some shitcoin or NFT associated with it and this fight is not the exception. I don't know what this EthereumMax crap is but they are accepting it for online ticket purchases. I'm not sure it's even an official partnership, it looks like the eMax people are just reselling tickets and making misleading claims about their association with this event.

Aside from that, the interest from the audience may wear off if they will cancel this fight again. They can easily replace the undercard, but don't expect that the fighter will be at his best as it is barely a week from this exhibition match. Anyway, people are interested with the main event itself. So let's see how this show will finally unveil inside the ring.

Indeed, it's all money and nothing else. Mayweather will be living up to his name as Floyd Money, we know that from the very beginning. With that extra weight added to him, I doubt if he even gets a chance to land a single clean hit to Floyd. the fight is right around the corner and I don't have any expectation to this except watching it to entertain myself and I am curious about how they will end this fight cleanly without being notice that they are just playing around inside the ring. We had great entertainment watching the Donaire vs Obaali fight, hoping to see more of that in the upcoming months. this one is just for leisure and kills time.

I know a lot of people are going to expect Paul to be knocked out or dominated by Floyd but a lot of people might get disappointed. It's obvious going all guns blazing right off the bat isn't Floyd's style and not for the lack of being able to, but what I like about Floyd is he is a box office showman and he has made a hell of a career out of it. I guess let's be honest ever since Mayweather beat Pacman, did he really had any real fights? Dude worths so much money and earns so much money so he doesn't truly need to fight anyone anymore, he is done with all those real fights and he just fights with some other people. Mcgregor "could" have been harder if he was a bit better, but even that wasn't really a big problem for him, dude managed to win that too, I think he hasn't had a real fight in years.

You've missed the word "lucky".

You'll never know that it's really turning the match when someone got his very lucky punch. I've seen some matches that did upset the whole crowd because of it.

But your points are valid and I agree to what you've said when it comes to technicalities and knowing that it's Floyd. Well, that's just the hope for that one lucky moment.
