Qatar is not a nation that gives total freedom to people and many footballing fans looking to have a good time are set to face so restriction In Qatar. What do you guys think about this so to start World Cup.

It's what it's, nothing can be changed since the match will start next 8 days. I don't know who's the one who propose and why they're agree if the world cup should be held on Qatar, because they must know Qatar is really a strict country and they need to follow many rules. I think this is why this current world cup doesn't really have huge hype not like the previous world cup where many people really want to watch it.
I think it may reduce significant number of people and also there's will be a problem in the future since I believe there's will be someone who will break the rules.

Qatar is a country of rules, regulations and many laws that their countrymen abide in. They have also made it known to visitors because of the world cup but there is something that is negotiable which is they should not expect 100% compliance to the laws. People coming from different types of country have their different cultures and traditions they won't have to force them to comply 100%.

I would say the laws of all countries should be respected. We must respect their art and culture. We know that the culture of Qatar is completely different from the culture of European countries. And unlike European countries, public consumption of alcohol or prostitution is not allowed in Qatar. So I would say we should respect and follow these rules even if it hurts a little.

Brazil are my favorite to win this World Cup. They’re equipped in all departments and they have a blend of experienced and young players in that squad. If not all, most of these players in currently in a team that are performing well this season. I like how Tite drafted the 26-man list. The likes of Dani Alves and Thiago Silva will give them that experience and sense of leadership. It’s a good drafted squad, i tip them reach the final stage of the competition.

Dani Alves is likely to be valuable for the team with his experience, because he is no longer young and the field is no longer as good as before. When I was a boy I was always rooting for Brazil, all my friends in the yard were rooting and it was probably cool. Brazil is always a World Cup contender, but Germany and France can also play in the final, there are many deserving teams.

Brazil yes everyone sooner or later once in life has cheered for them,I also cheered for them when I was a young kid in 1994 and I still remember that World Cup final with Romario and Bebeto the two best forwarders in a team that I have ever seen in the sense that they understood each other without even seeing each one.

Honestly English ones are a bit overvalued if you ask me, there is absolutely no reason for it to be like that, but premier league teams like to buy the English players for a good amount of money and premier league is one of the most highest paid leagues in the world, it’s not just at the top, if that was the case then PSG or Real would have been in talks too, I mean if you compare the teams that relegate each year, premier leagues are still richer. So that is why English ones are a bit overvalued if you ask me.

On the other hand, if we are looking at the current situation as nothing but regular football and put all these estimations into play somehow, you are going to be upset because money might be important, but it’s not everything.

England is overvalued for sure . The price is so big because o most all of them play in the premier league and their cost is pumped up. Brazil should be at first for sure but maybe because of age of some players its a little lower. For me Portugal is surprisngly high on the list

I think its not that "beautiful" considering over a dozen people died while trying to make these stadiums. But I do agree that I can't wait to see the teams play, I really want to see all 64 games if possible, because it is going to be something us football fans all over the world will watch all together.

This isn't like champions league where even though the world is watching, it is only about Europeans, or not about any league, this is the WORLD cup, meaning the whole world will be watching, more so from nations that participate, but the ones who don't (like my nation) will still watch it very much so, because it is something that the whole world has in common.

I agree with you. Croatia usually plays best against the strongest national teams, but often fails against weaker teams.
In this year's League of Nations, they lost the first match at home to Austria, then they beat against France and Denmark away from home and finally won the first place in the group.

The world championship starts in a week. I don't think Qatar is taken seriously as a participating team. Whether that is the case remains to be seen. I think they are better than we think, they are also reigning Asian champions, you don't get that easily. In Asia you still have a number of countries such as Japan and South Korea that can get decent teams on their feet. But Qatar has also drawn a fairly favorable group with the Netherlands, Senegal and Ecuador. Nice that they can play the first round against Ecuador, not the best team in the group. Qatar could well survive this group. They will have to win the first game against Ecuador, as the Netherlands, but probably also Senegal, are too strong for Qatar. The Qatar team is full of confidence at the moment.

The main reason that Qatar is hosting the world cup and even Blatter admitted is, is money... Qatar just gave a bunch of money to the highest Fifa officials so that's why they got chosen. Money is and will always be one of the main factors to decide which country will host the world cup.
