I am a Newbie.  So I know how many problems a newbie can face.  So I would like to give some advice to the newcomer from this little knowledge of mine.
 1.  First of all you are newbie, you know nothing about this forum.  So you have to have a lot of interest to know about this forum.
 2.  The Beginner and Help thread will be the right place for you.  So you get into this thread.
 3.  Then your job will be to go into each post and read everything.  You can learn a lot, especially if you read the replay of Hero members and legendary members carefully.
 4.  So your next task will be to enter each post and read carefully the replay of the legendary members to get an idea about this forum.  If you can spend time on a few posts in this thread like this, you will get some idea about this forum.
 5.  Legendary members are very helpful.  So don't miss any of their replays.  Missing it will probably deprive you of much to learn.
 6.  If you want to know more about Bitcoin then you should read some books about Bitcoin like me.
 7.  You can also learn more about Bitcoin with the help of internet.
 8.  One last thing, if you spend enough time in the various discussion groups of this forum, you will know the details about this forum.  And this will be one of the easiest and most beautiful ways for you to learn

 1.  First of all you are newbie, you know nothing about this forum.  So you have to have a lot of interest to know about this forum.
There are few newbies who actually know more than most of people on here, they are only "lurking" on this forum. They only didn't interact with people too much.

2.  The Beginner and Help thread will be the right place for you.  So you get into this thread.
Yes i agree, remember to read all sticky threads too, especially about all rules on this forum.

Quote
3.  Then your job will be to go into each post and read everything.  You can learn a lot, especially if you read the replay of Hero members and legendary members carefully.
Not really, you can learn from everyone. Post from hero/legendary or higher rank doesn't mean their post always right and helpful.

Quote
4.  So your next task will be to enter each post and read carefully the replay of the legendary members to get an idea about this forum.  If you can spend time on a few posts in this thread like this, you will get some idea about this forum.
Back to my reply on point 3. Don't rely too much with the post from high rank (Hero/legendary)

Quote
5.  Legendary members are very helpful.  So don't miss any of their replays.  Missing it will probably deprive you of much to learn.
Not all, there are few who only shitpost. That's why i said don't rely/depends too much with the post from high ranked account.

6.  If you want to know more about Bitcoin then you should read some books about Bitcoin like me.
There are lot of other source to know more about bitcoin rather than through books,
https://bitcoin.org/
https://bitcointalk.org/
Etc

Quote
7. You can also learn more about Bitcoin with the help of internet
Yeah, i do believe most of people doing this instead reading books.

8. One last thing, if you spend enough time in the various discussion groups of this forum, you will know the details about this forum.  And this will be one of the easiest and most beautiful ways for you to learn
+1

Maybe following sticky threads should be more helpful to know more about this forum while we are still new on this forum

There are plenty of high rank members here that totally helpful. You just need to check them out but of course not only high rank cause sometime valuable information or knowledge comes too from lower rank especially DTs are all helpful and could give you sufficient information on things you don't know yet.

OP for a newbie you sound like a matured users and understand things already. Keep it up. I do hope you motivate other users just like you.

Learning takes time but it is worth it staying here and collect new ideas about bitcoin and blockchain. Just don't join the drama here so you wouldn't have any hassle at all.

Op if you read through this board yesterday, you'd not have missed this topic started by lovesmayfamilis: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5299670.0, I'd like to make it clear that I or no one is against you or your posts, so you don't feel that way, but the thing is lately there have been numerous posts like this and it's fast becoming a 'tradition', one or maybe two of it, constructed in a very good manner wouldn't be a problem, but when users start to talk about the very same thing someone said the other day, in the very same manner it was said, then it becomes somewhat boring and redundant to say the least.

Having said that, I'd reiterate that no user has anything against you, but you don't need to make topics blowing the horns of "legendary/hero members" or telling newbies what to do which wouldn't take them quite long to figure out themselves, then like I said earlier, if you must make posts along that line, they should contain more information and be constructed in a HQ manner, not every thing deserves a new thread, I hope you get the message in the right manner.

Even though the accounts owned by the OP are still beginners, the way they think and some of their posts show that the OP is not just a beginner, but I am sure the OP has been in this forum for quite a while.

From the many advice that you give it is quite helpful for beginners. How to become a good beginner and adapt to this forum. Each piece of advice is relevant to helping beginners develop their knowledge of cryptocurrency and the forum and become a member who can make a good contribution.

-snip-
 8.  One last thing, if you spend enough time in the various discussion groups of this forum, you will know the details about this forum.  And this will be one of the easiest and most beautiful ways for you to learn
Regarding discussion groups in this forum, the most priority for beginners is their own regional discussion group because this forum has groups with various languages and it will be easier to understand and can be involved in every discussion. Forum details, about some of the rules that are allowed and rules that should not be broken and other knowledge. Regional groups will be the first mandatory discussion groups to visit and be a place for the good discussion

There are things that we know that some legendary members don't know, if you say that experience is important in this forum then I agree with that.

But there are different life long experiences that we have which can used as a lesson or technique when dealing with the economy and the market. Never underestimate the lower ranks, we should just help them achieve that rank and remind them that being toxic in this forum will bring nothing to them.

Let's all just be positive and help each other to achieve our goals in investing in crypto and staying here in this forum.

You are very kind to OP, because in reality this subject has been treated a thousand times already in the Beginners boards, and is therefore completely useless and of zero value.

If you really want these Newbies to learn something and to make them understand how they will gain "Money and Merits", just be frank with them and tell them the plain truth: this is a shit thread with zero contribution to these boards.

If you have no value to add, don't post. It's as simple as that.

So to the more experienced users, if you absolutely like to "educate" Newbies, I'd kindly suggest you call shitposts truthfully "shitposts".

I am not completely agree with you about this point. Most of the forum members gain knowledge about the forum after joining the forum. But there are some exceptional members who lurking on the forum before joining. Then join the forum whenever they want. I think all these members are newbie but they know a lot about the forum.

It is a mistake to give advice about something you do not know much about it. You are a beginner. You can ask for advice from those who are older and share suggestions with those close to you.
Not all of Hero+ members are useful, a part of them are scammers, and not all of the information in the books is accurate. To begin with, distinguish the correct sources from the misleading, and then carefully review the information from several sources before taking it and learning it.

Binance Academy and this forum give you a good start up.

The thing is, how far you would go in this forum depends basically on two things as well as I know it and getting these right would tune you to the frequency of the forum. These are:

1. Your complete compliance with the forum rules and two
2. Your perception of the forum

Make no mistake, getting any of these things wrong and your stay in the forum would be short lived or miserable. Luckily for newbies, the rules are readily displayed as a pinned post across boards like this one; Newbies - Read before posting and that covers the first point, for the second point, I personally made a thread or article about it right here; Your perception matters
Click and be re-oriented about the forum and it would be of interest to read most of the other articles across board to get an elaborate idea and never fail to contribute should you conceive a thought or an idea.

7.  You can also learn more about Bitcoin with the help of internet.
This is a no brainer mate.

Most information are found on the web, on the internet. And those information are just a click away. As an internet money as described by people who don't own bitcoin yet, it is actually the basic thing you need to know more about bitcoin.

However there are books that are published to teach bitcoin for beginners but not everyone who is interested to know more about it are bookworms. And it is much easier to access resources in the web.

 2.  The Beginner and Help thread will be the right place for you.  So you get into this thread.
Not all the cases fall unto these. You know, just because you are a newbie doesn't mean you are literally new here. Some of them are alt accounts of the old members which they use for raising a complain without compromising their reputation. Some of them also use it for merit farming in the future.

But for those who are really new here, they fail on following the second tip you said. Why? Simply because the one who introduced this forum to them just focus the bounties/campaigns. So as a result, such members forget all the basics and the real essence of this forum — they simply jump on earning.

Ps: it is reply not replay Smiley.
Forum rank doesn't have to do with your knowledge about crypto, blockchain and Bitcoin.
i agree. I also see Members to Senior Members who are good in this field. But well, I consider them Legendary members in the making.

Forum rank doesn't have to do with your knowledge about crypto, blockchain and Bitcoin.

Exactly since there are newbie who doesn't care about that things since they are just here once they want to get an information on crypto and nothing else more, mostly the one who aim to rank up is the one who want to join on signature campaigns and want to earn with it.

I have so many friend outside the forum who doesn't have an account here but still they are earning good with trading's and other outside venture which generate them a good profit or revenue in bitcoins.

I am a Newbie.  So I know how many problems a newbie can face.  So I would like to give some advice to the newcomer from this little knowledge of mine.
 1.  First of all you are newbie, you know nothing about this forum.  So you have to have a lot of interest to know about this forum.
There are few newbies who actually know more than most of people on here, they are only "lurking" on this forum. They only didn't interact with people too much.

This is absolutely true.

Regular posters often forget that probably most readership is lurkers, and passers-by. Forum regulars are only the tip of the iceberg for readership.

If you forget this, you can look like a fool! Don't forget your audience.

Some case examples:

This forum has high rank in search engines, links from Bitcoin Wiki, etc. Anyone who reads about Bitcoin, will read some from this forum.

When nullius was a Newbie, he was immediately accused of being old regular's alt account.  LOL.  Much speculation, many conspiracy theories.  He lurked for years before registering.  (Then lurked 8 more months before posting.)

I know some guy who has a Newbie account with 3 posts. He has lurked for years. He knows this forum better than 99% of regulars. Just does not talk.

Most casual readers, occasional lurkers, and passers-by probably never even register an account.

To be a forum regular is a sort of a lifestyle - and it is a huge time sink. Not for everyone.

And my #1 advice to Newbies: Lurk more! Only talk if you have something to say. Don't make a post only to make a post. (Sigspammers and bounty chasers, please smash your computers with sledgehammer.)

5.  Legendary members are very helpful.  So don't miss any of their replays.  Missing it will probably deprive you of much to learn.
Not all, there are few who only shitpost. That's why i said don't rely/depends too much with the post from high ranked account.

Many "Legendary" only shitpost. Also, many are hacked/bought account. If you see "Legendary" with bad behavior, look for the red trust!

He's right about following up with hero & legendary members in this forum, the informations they give will really help in enlightening your knowledge as newbie.
Maybe following sticky threads should be more helpful to know more about this forum while we are still new on this forum
