Jesus christ, the people attempting to buy a vaccine on the dark web are getting exactly what they deserve- a dangerous concoction of god knows what with no oversight and no recourse if something goes wrong. You have to go far out of your way of common sense to even be in a position to be hurt from something like this, so anyone who is ultimately really earned it. 

The government should make vaccines available to those, who desperately want to get vaccinated. If someone is willing to pay huge amounts, then why the governments should deny the request? They can use the money for vaccine development and to provide vaccines free of cost to those who can't afford them. But right now, the preference is being given to those who are above 80 years of age.

At the end of the day, unless you are buying from a reputable medical institution then it is unlikely you will be able to get a real coronavirus vaccine and someone might be injecting you with any old rubbish. I don't know of any medical institutions that accept Bitcoin so you might as well give up on the idea and just wait in line to be notified by a government agency for when it is your turn. Stay safe, keep washing your hands regularly, and wear a mask in any public indoor locations to lower your chance of catching it.

Buying vaccines from the black market isn't the right choice. We'll only waste our Bitcoins especially when it's fake. Instead of rushing to get the vaccine, we should just take the health protocols seriously. Let's wait for the International pharmaceutical to produce enough and legit vaccine for everyone. Being desperate to have the Covid 19 vaccine could only make our situations worse.

I don't really know what to say if that's truth. First of all, current vaccine was created by very talented and intelligent scientists and doctors and still, no one knows what will be the side effect of this vaccine on long term and people really risk their lives to inject something that was never really tested on side effects + do they really know what they inject? Maybe that's a poison? If people really sell similar things, I think websites should ban them and prohibit the selling of similar things (they did similar of it years ago on another substance). It's comes to our health, seriously, injection is very dangerous, especially when you don't know what you inject, what's the side effects of it. What if Anaphylaxis will happen? I don't know what these people really think about.

If it says fake vaccines can only be obtained on the web or on the black market, then the next step to be avoided is enough for us to buy them from reliable sources. Because by visiting the web or the black market, basically, it has become something deviant, so why buy from an unclear source because even this is the beginning of the vaccine being released, even I personally am still not part of the vaccination participants. This is a moment where people will chase bitcoin because its price has passed the previous ATH, so be careful because moments like this are very risky if we are careless.

In my opinion, regarding the COVID-19 vaccine, it is better to wait for the government to officially distribute it to the citizen.

Cannot imagine someones buy and sell covid-19 vaccines on black market by bitcoin. The supply of it is really small that isn't enough national demand, and however, it require preservation at special conditions that regular residents cannot response.

Even if there is enough supply, it is not strictly legal to sell vaccines, or any other prescription drug in the dark market. And vaccines are more risky when compared to the other medications, because if you take the wrong one then you may face all sorts of adverse side effects. But at the same time, what fuels this black market trade is the refusal by government to make the vaccine freely available at the market.

I do not get your point OP, are you against vaccine or do you want to integrate blockchain payment system to buy vaccines. Fake vaccines will definitely pop up but I do not think that will be a problem for many because only idiots will fall for that kind of scam, imagine buying some cocaine from a shady dealer only to find out that it is baking soda, that is what those people who will buy those "Real" vaccines will look like. Maybe a placebo effect might take place but considering the amount that you paid for, I do not think it is worth it.

it was definitely a fake vaccine sale.  I visited the Dark Web several times through the tor network, not as scary as many people say (lots of spy etc), I saw many sites that offer the sale of hacking services, drug trafficking, weapons, and several others.  For the sale of vaccines through the Dark web, you should not believe it because until now we do not know vaccines from where countries are effective for the human body..

It seems like bitcoin is really possible to use a a mode of payment but we know how centralized system work. It is still fiat currency to be favorable as a means of transaction because of its stable value compared to bitcoin. Bitcoin is good but for the mean time I think not ideal to spend bitcoin especially that we are already havng a bullish trend in its market price. So I doubt that many will going to use bitcoin as a means of payment.

It's going to be interesting whether there's going to be scalpers. Safe storage and logistics are a huge concern and I do believe that until production ramps up vaccine distribution and access is going to be closely monitored; making it rather difficult to get illegitimate access to vaccines on a business scale, except maybe in the most corrupt of countries.

Scalpers depend on what country you're from honestly. Plenty of people in the U.S. are in no rush to take the vaccine. Something like 50 percent said they wouldn't take it, another percentage said they would take but would wait.

Realistically, vaccines need to be targeted to people with preexisting conditions and the demand for the vaccine doesn't seem all there.

Given the controversy that the vaccines seem to cause in some circles there's going to be a lot of misinformation incoming, especially ones disavowing the vaccine like they did 5G. While studies on the long term effects are still out (for obvious reason, after all the vaccines are rather new) the immediate post vaccination side effects seem to be greatly exaggerated. Or put differently, they seem to be "not worse than a flu", to quote one of the dumbest sentences of 2020. Except true this time. Hopefully.

What worries me though is that while the current generation of covid-19 vaccines seem to be effective enough in terms of immunization, vaccinated individuals still appear to be contagious to some degree, even if they don't have symptoms. Accordingly building up herd immunity is likely to be harder than anticipated, at least until other vaccines come out.

Apparently you are usually clear 8-10 days following the second dosage of the vaccine. Can't remember the exact time frame, but it's a few weeks before you need to get the second dosage according to Pfizer (which is the major vaccine being rolled out). So realistically the pandemic won't even be over until the vast majority of people get their second shot of the vaccine.

Also keep in mind that many governments are going to vaccinate their citizens for free (or at least especially affected people such as health care workers or people with pre-existing conditions).

Governments are the one that should be responsible towards its citizen's safety and health.

Especially how about those people who can't afford the vaccine? Probably the authorities will not leave them behind.

I think that some governments will allocate a proper budget for that and they will distribute it as soon as possible so that we can somehow full go back to normal. Also those are the taxes of people so the government is accountable for that budget and stop their corruption plan first.

There are really things that you can buy there, but not the one that you risk your own life by taking it, not only that but also your money is at risk. It is best to wait for a government decision until the vaccine is released and tested for accuracy by experts, and as long as the vaccine is not yet available it must follow health protocols and government regulations that must be implemented.

There's so much stupid fake news out there that you have to be exceedingly careful what you believe--and I have a hard time believing that this is actually happening outside of one or two cases.

News related to fake vaccines that are widely sold on the dark web have often appeared in my country's news notifications.  I don't think this is fake news, the dark web sells a lot of illegal goods around the world, from illegal weapons, organs, fetish porn videos, and even human trafficking.  Those are some of the items sold on darkweb, which I often read.  However, for the common man, who would buy them all?  Yes, the fact is that many buy it on the dark web and most of them have a negative purpose as well.  Whoever you intend to buy a vaccine on the dark web, think again because the dark web is a place for scammers and illegal things.

Here in our country, swab tests are so expensive and the government is requiring some to do these tests just so they can go home while there are a lot of these people that just go back and forth without requiring these papers. Then this vaccine which is quite expensive will not be given for free? I feel bad for those poor old people.

Here in India, swab tests can cost anywhere from $15 to $30 per person, which makes it unaffordable to a large section of the population. But if you want to do inter-state travel, then it is mandatory to get a swab test and you need tp show the report at the border check-post. But from what I heard, the vaccine is going to be free of cost in India. The only question is regarding supply and timeline.

Exactly, from the sound of it, these guys are just spreading propaganda to spread fear among people regarding vaccines and vaccinating themselves in general. It's not only stupid and weird but it is also dangerous as you're risking the health of everyone around you for not vaccinating yourself.
