everyone is scared to dump this.
so far the only coin i ever seen that miners didnt dump at all.
loving this really!
yea i think the incentive to hold a coin with high interest rate is quite strong compared to coins with low interest rate. This effect is way bigger than the effect of coins beeing added through PoS too bad it will die together with all other scrypt coins due to the coming of the scrypt ASICs... so why do you care about reading here if you think it will die anyways?  -> if you were convinced to be right you would hardly take your time reading and posting on here |

The first round of scrypt a docs aren't that impressive. On a cost ratio, they aren't THAT much cheaper than a video card. The savings is in power. One of the sites is selling a 300khash unit for $205. I got some GPUs on clearance at best buy that pull 330 khash for $118 each, normally $180. A 600khash gpu is $400+. The price is in the ballpark. It's the power that's killer. The asics are 5 watts. Thing is tho with so many scrypt coins, and the ADDITIONAL cost of buying asics, I don't think there's much to fear in the immediate future. |
