Bad idea, if you'll be holding something, hold ETH or BTC, dogecoin is great and everything but the value remained constant in a way that it goes very slow, just like the old first years of Bitcoin, it's a great coin (doge) but I can't assure you on what it'll be in the future, better hold something more valuable than doge. This is the thing that makes doge coin a special coin. You can hold Doge coin and can acquire on it by making a transient hold. I am not generally an enthusiast of long haul hold in altcoins. Bitcoin still the best in long haul hold. I would prefer to pick different coins which generally been on the best positions of the market.

I think selling of Doge is not a good idea.
Because, as we saw a huge hype in price of BTC, ETH.
Also DOGE performed well and price also increased.

But BTC and DOGE both have different power and marketcap also.

I have gone through the entire thread and in a nutshell, my decision is as follows.

• Use DOGE for transactions for high speed and low fees.
• Hold what you have.
• Don't go for conversion.

I have some DOGE, received from faucets. Not much just around 500.

I'm quite surprised that there are still people who are spending their time in faucets where we already see that the time to reward ratio of it isn't acceptable. Total waste of time for others.

No, I'm not into faucets now. These are old collections and they are still in the faucet, not yet claimed to the wallet.

After years I logged into them to check if anything is claimable.

Truly the faucets are time wasters now. I'm just using them in my free time but I get more amount from some other task spending the same amount of free time. Presently, it's a sort of bad habit or old-time pass.

Doge is becoming good alcoin for investment.it wasn't good enough to buy cause it was considered as stable coin before but within few months, it pump a lot during this crypto blast.so if you think doge can bring you profit then you can buy but exchange doge with bitcoin wasn't right cause you also see the increase of bitcoin even still its trying to go to moon.i think holding bitcoin could reach your expected target too instead of others altcoin like doge

Doge is never a good investment, it pump in price shouldnt be consider worthy cause it definitely influenceby Elon Musk but I dont know how you get the impression to consider Dogecoin as a Stablecoin when it actually not.

Exchanging Doge for Bitcoin is not a bad idea if the coins is many unlike the OP which was holding 500 Dogecoins.

On that, we have different interpretation on the current price, it could be overpriced or underpriced, depending on how we see it TBH. Some even think that bitcoin is overprice at the moment while some think there's still an opportunity to buy so we can ride of the next pump.

After the increase in the transaction fees of BTC, I have thought of converting my BTC and LTC to DOGE for the transactions and keep them as DOGE. On the second thought, I thought of converting my DOGE to LTC and keep.

Converting your bitcoin to doge is a nice idea though, since the price of transaction for doge is very low and a kind of insignificant, I always use it sometimes along side trx and Ltc.

Here I want some expert advice on this. Whether it is a good idea to convert and hold or keep my DOGE reserve constant.

Are you planning to convert your bitcoin to doge and hold it? If that's your plan, well I can't assure you you are going to earn much profits from holding doge compared to bitcoin, so it's definitely a bad plan to convert your bitcoin to doge coin hoping you will earn a fortune out of doge coin someday,i will advise you hold bitcoin instead.
