Hi everyone:
More than 2 years ago, we started a project of a new cryptocurrency from scratch. For personal reasons we cancelled it and refunded all the investors.
You can read more here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4810124.0Since then, we had many discussions about what we could change, improve or add to the old project. Finally, we found the time to retake it and we started it from scratch again, using the old project (Kreditz) as reference. To document the entire process we started a blog:
https://lazaruscryptodev.blogspot.com/The blog is in spanish, but you can easily translate it to your language with the blogger tool.
As you start reading the blog, you will find source codes and explanations; we are even discussing a new name, but, from the original project we have:
- Open source. (yes)
- PoW (MD5 multi level hash function) -> Miner included in the wallet (yes)
- ECDSA secp256k1 signatures. (yes)
- 5 minutes blocks. (moving to 10 minutes)
- Fixed transfers fee (0.01 %) (yes)
- No need to donwload the complete blockchain to fully use the wallet. We use sumary files to avoid double spent. (yes)
- 2 decimals currency (xxx,xx) (changed to standard crypto 8 decimals)
- 35 HEX characters (fixed) addresses with 2 control digits (to avoid misstyping) and account number functionality. (yes)
- Only windows (7, 8.1 and 10 tested) wallet by now. Other platforms will be available in the near future (as soon as the project is released). (windows first)
- Minimal resource use: less than 5 MB RAM usage. (yes)
We also added new features:
- Not premined at all.
- Aliases for addresses.
- Internal exchange platform inside the P2P network; it minds that the crypto could be monetized from block 1. No exchanges or localbitcoins needed!
- Auto update for new releases from development team.**
** Thanks to this feature, the updates during the development will be done automatically, protected by the same technology that protect the transactions.
