Long update.

It has been a while since our last update, but that does not mean that the project has not been actively developed in the meantime (current block height: +83600). Noso underwent major updates, new apps were released and a lot of new promotional gates were opened.

One of the most impactful changes involves a change in the mining logic. Noso has transitioned from PoW to PoPW (Proof of Participation on Work) to stop unethical miners who had developed a private GPU miner and were exploiting the project. This means that all miners with a moderate hash rate (100 Kh/s, reachable by most home CPUs and Mobile phones) will earn the same coins as a miner with a GPU farm.

In addition, we have made significant progress with the project documentation. The white paper is almost completed (finally!) and is going to be publicly announced, soon.

Furthermore, decentralized project decisions are now transparent (regularly published on nosocoind.info) and open to anyone who decides to be part of it.

Super excited to see all the updates on the project. I have been following Noso actively for the last two years and I am impressed of what we have achieved in the meantime. Noso is worth the wait. The change to POPW is a brilliant move and is one of a kind system. This makes mining fair for everyone! No need for huge CPU or GPU mining farms when even just an average android phone can participate and earn the same fair amount as anyone else. The sooner you get in the better now before Noso really takes off!

As a Pool and MasterNode Operator, big change using the new POPW ( Proof of Participation on Work ), my spare Raspberry Pi are mining in 5 official Pools, changing shares and being automatically balanced.

Stopped powerful PC miners, now just a few Raspberry, same performance, saving electricity, heat... nice work Team.

NOSO is a hidden gem, that deserved more attention: fixed block time, strong anti double spend protection, masternodes support, self balancing multi-pool miner, supports many platforms including old smart phones.

Personal opinion , the whitepaper would be the No1 need for people that want to commit more time on the project . It is for sure an interesting project and i will keep devoting some time to it .
