Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings?

$60 in crypto is still $60 at the time it was paid. Unfortunately, if you're like me and want to hold your coins into the future, receiving $60 in crypto when the price is at an all time high will only see the price deminish unless you're prepared to see the price crash and burn, stagnate, flourish and grow and eventually reach this price in a year, two years time when you might have wanted to just hold for the next six months.

Signature campaigns right now are paying on a dollar-based unlike before which was paid on a BTC-based whatever the price of bitcoin was. Even the mighty Chipmixer campaign failed to continue paying their participants on a BTC-based payment and had to go through a $ based payment which is still the highest payment campaign up until now.
For us, who got paid 50-80$ worth of bitcoin, it's better for us to hold unto it until the price has increase but it's sometimes fun to gamble our earnings with what we advertising on our signature space. However, I haven't gamble my earnings for a long time now as for me it's sometimes a hassle depositing and withdrawing funds especially that most gambling sites has a minimum amount required to withdraw on. Also, the fees is a factor as gambling 50-80$ and a fee of 1-10$ is too much for just that amount.

Holding has a best timing, if the price is $40k and you earn $50 usd a week, you will earn less bitcoin when the price is $20k, so at this moment, I believe it's a great timing to gamble and spend our bitcoin than holding. IMO, holding when bull run is not a good decision, unless you'll go HODL, which is good for few people only, now is the time to take an opportunity to sell.

Back to campaign earning, yes, I believe it's suitable for gambling or spending, not holding.

It's definitely better to hold bitcoins at such times. I am still holding my earnings from a few months ago and can almost see it double in price 
Chipmixer was paying too much according to the price of bitcoin until recently it slashed it prices. It was quite expected though.
They decreased the price to more than 70% of what was getting paid which was a turn off for many.

Gambling these days feels like goosebumps when we see the bet amount in fiat equivalent price. I never see the fiat equivalent until I have stopped gambling for that particular day

You may not believe it but every time I got my weekly payment, I bought at least 1 or 2 books to be added to my mini-library. I started collecting books a few months ago because before that, every time I got the weekly payments I only buy some foods and snacks but now I spent most of it on the books and I have more than 20 books now from my signature earnings.

I also use it for buying books and I already owe about 5 books. I hope that I can make the count of my books higher because reading is really one of my hobby. I also read books when I am trading, gambling and resting on gambling. Sometimes I keep it so that I can have extra when I want to gamble more because if I lose all my money and I'm not satisfied, I am getting sad and cannot get my rhythm when I am trading. When I lose a lot on trading that is when I am starting to read books and that is the reason why I want to buy a lot of books so that I can have something to focus my attention when I lose the hype of my day. Other books can also teach you a lot of things and I am reading psychology book on this time because they say that it can give a good effect for gambling.

Looking to keep yourself busy instead of regretting things that went wrong after your gambling. It's good to have diversions in order to
focus once you play back.

Regret most of the time keeps you to the wrong side, you keep playing aggressively instead of relaxing and taking time to review more about your strategy. You need to put aside any emotions instead taking time to enjoy, losing money is not good but losing more because of the same mistake is more worse than ever.

It might not be treated as a salary but for some people it would really be on that way or treatment because not all are really living on a nice status in life when it comes to finances.

the point on wasting up your 1-weeks effort and time to lost those coins in a matter of seconds.It isnt really just worth.

You can gamble again soon and you'll be able to recover that but just as we say, priorities first.

But you don't need to worry about it. It is an amount I could definitely take back in a short period of time, that is how low that amount is. Family is my priority right now especially that they are aging so quickly. Time really passes by so quickly, that is why I am also making some free time so I could talk to them. They also have it rough as they are usually warned about going outside.

Aw man. That hurts. I'm sorry if there's nothing left anymore to you while watching bitcoin and other altcoins rise.

But with that spirit of yours, I believe you can take it back with several ways. Keep making your family be in your priority because they're the reason why you need to get back or at least retrieve yourself from it.

But now since BTC price rallied so hard I am not sure if it is the best idea to keep holding. Once BTC is reaching 40,000 USD I will start using my coins for gambling again. If I manage to double up my coins it's going to be a nice profit. The upside potential is a bit limited after reaching the big mark I think.

Depends on persons needs and on how they do manage their funds.If they do look that 40k would be enough to cash out then its their choice. If they do look that they have some extra to spent then its their choice.

I have big thanks to those campaigns because of it my life change and everything i need in life i achieved them all , ever since i joined in this forum & participate in campaign in the one i wore of course im doing all three when i received my payment i always do gambling first and when i win to be honest im support those kids who fighting for their cancer and some times im buying books for them just to enjoy life because everything happens for a reason and i can't stop my self helping others.

In holding just a bit im not putting much money in it because there's a trading or thinking about the future investing is the best to earn money and to support it again into those who really need helps.

Yes, from what I've learnt here on the forum over the years for some people coming from poor countries even the signature money can be enough to either sustain or at least support a whole family. I remember the story of a guy who started getting some money out of sig campaings and then ended up working for a crypto company. I can't recall the thread but it was a very compelling story for the topic.

Yes, I'm also conservative about money (it's hard for me to get it, so I prefer to save it) and I'm ready to take risks only if I see a good chance to win (roughly speaking, the profit outweighs the risk). As for my hodling now, it is due to the fact that I started a business in fiat and I see it as a kind of diversification.

I do all three but I manage each choices with percentage of the earnings. I always split my earnings for gambling, save btc and convert it if my instincts tells me that the price is decreasing even if it's a small percent of price decreasing. As of now, I don't have much btc stored but the btc I converted to fiat currency is still in my bank account.

Not necessarily. I don't think the campaigns rely on profit directly from people, who wear the signatures. It's just that Bitcointalk itself is full of people, who are into the things, that are advertised here: altcoins, gambling, other crypto-related projects. Thus, this forum seems to be a very good platform with a target-like effect. For instance, advertising the above-mentioned things on popular platforms or on social media, like on Instagram or Facebook, even with targetting, wouldn't be that effective, IMO.

Anyways, I donated much of my earnings here in research, because I'm a scientist, and research funding in our country is very poor, so if you want to make a difference, discover things and publish them - you need to rely on your own investments. But some of the money I actually use for gambling, just for fun, and mostly I gamble on the websites, that are advertised here.

Success stories and failures would really be mixed up into this market.Some would able to enhanced or upgrade their lives and some do still struggle on making some improvement after all the years they've been
dealing into this market.

We do have our own will if we would use it for more important thing or would just simply use it again on gambling.It depends on someones needs and situation.

Definitely, limit is very important regardless on how you earn that bitcoin of yours. We are blessed to earn bitcoin from campaign, therefore we should value it like our real money because that is a good investment and we are seeing how this bull run make our holdings grow significantly.

A gambler must be realistic of the risk, not only on the reward, you win some, you lose some, that's the reality in gambling, but even if you experience loses as long as you are in limit, and you don't touch what you hold, you'll be okay.
