I have long read the best investment tactic is to never buy when the price is climbing.

BUT alas!

It first crossed 20, then 22, then 27, then 30, then 32!! Then now it's nearly around 35 and I wanted to take a little risk.

The only graph I see flattening is "Bitcoin graph"

Reason I did invest right now:

The vaccination is on the way
The market is going to improve soon
Some people have already started getting them
With the improvement in market the investors will pool in
The price will rise further!!
Even if we see some minor dips I do believe that they will be sorted out in a matter of weeks , because right now I do think bitcoins successfully captured the sights of the industries and the investors.

Am I the only one who brought bitcoins right now ??

I actually took risk in my life for the fist time, 2020 have been risky enough, even getting milk and groceries meant you were at the risk of getting COVID and approximately 5% chance that you gonna die. So I thought why now ?

I know it's not a wise decision for sure because I would have to take those savings out soon in a matter of months since for our country there is no such thing as stimulus! Therefore till the lockdown completes the responsibilities have to be taken care of.

What do you think is going on with the market ?
Can we pass beyond the 40k resistance??
How far is the bull run for , or maybe this time it is going to be stable around this price??

Definitely not. Check the history on all exchanges and see how many are buying.

$40K wall will be eaten sooner or later. Some people have been calling for BTC at $100K since last year and it's not far fetched anymore when we saw institutional investors buying in huge volumes.

How far is the bull run for , or maybe this time it is going to be stable around this price??x

BTC can move sideways at times but it will never have a stable price since nobody controls it.
It's not like USDT unlimited token minting and burning.

I used to use bitcoin for buying products and services only (cause that's what it was designed for), but i'm still stuck with a mortgage on my house and the price is soooo high i got tempted, so a couple thousand for a partly early mortgage repayment doesn't hurt

Bitcoin is in bull run, we should not be buying, instead we should be selling and don't be greedy.
It's okay to aim more, but we should set some target to sell, avoid being greedy so we will not regret.

Actually it's still possible that the price will continue to rise, but there's more possibility that it will fall down again.

I tried to find the right time to buy but it always stressed me out. I just do DCA since a few months ago and the current price doesn't really bother me or tempt me that much to buy more. I'd stick with my plan and manage my assets with little to no distraction.

If you're it in for the long term, I guess buying now or later with DCA doesn't really matter, as long as you only spend the amount of money you can afford to lose.

Indeed, making this decision was much more effective than expecting more in spite of the fact that it would have cost the $ 40,000 that many had estimated. I sell bitcoins for $ 33,000. My suggestion is to get comfortable taking risks, but take calculated ones. Without risks life is not worth living. Living safe won't bring you happiness. You need to get outside your comfort zone. Gather knowledge, acquire skills, practice and eventually attain your dreams.

Personally I think it is more risky to not get into Bitcoin and suffer from the constant loss of purchasing power. Your net worth allocation depend on your knowledge about Bitcoin, financial situation and of course your age. Yo can see that people are buying. When price is going up, there are more buyers than sellers and vice-versa.

I guess people buying before and right now because they want to make a profit. I am also buying some bitcoin whenever the price is down, but I do not buy directly because it is too risky.
The price can go up and down anytime, which makes me feel confused to determine the right time to buy.
But if we want to buy and hold for a long time, you can buy when the price is down and hold it.
I am sure we will pass $40k and even higher, but we need to be patient while selling some if we want while the price is at a high price.
No one will know how far the bull run, but it could be stable for a while before it breaks another high price.

At least you are honest, however, I don't think that we have reach the top yet. Yes, predicting the market is very difficult that's why we have our own opinion. While majority really see that we are going to see another massive bull run this year, while for sure there are others opinion that we can go down similar to 2018 because we have reach the ceiling. I do hope that no one will regret their decisions selling this early on not buying because the price is going up.

No one can say how far we're going in this bull run, if someone can predict the price accurately, then for sure they'll have a lot of profits in the future. What we're sure is that Bitcoin price will surely continue to rise, that's why countries and even some people are in the FOMO fever right now because they are slowly realizing that investing their money in Bitcoin is much better than putting it in bank.

People who knows how to Trade will always make profits whatever situation of the market is, that's why technical analysis is a good foundation for someone not to buy or sell their Bitcoin blindly to avoid profit loss.

I'm not taking the risk these days, I did an early sell off some of my BTC before it reaches $20k and sold the left amount at $25k.
I'm not expecting the market got crazy like this and probably because I was so blind and not to see people are buying more. But somehow I feel no regrets by then, I've gained some profit already, and that was enough.

What I do now is to wait for the market to settle down and do the buyback again. It gonna be a long wait, possible.

yeah bro, am tempted to buy but am thinking what if i buy then the price start to crash, like you said, it is often said never to buy at the top but i guess btc is an exception because since right from 20k i am struggling with my decision to get all in, i only did a small investment thinking it will correct anytime soon, but alas! that's not the case, instead the price keep rising.

It's the time to sell bitcoin since correction might occur in the next few days and it'll be a huge loss for you. It's not the right time to buy bitcoin, it'll be worthless soon, too much risk on the line but who knows, it might still resist until $50k. The practical way is they should wait for the correction so we can buy bitcoin at a low price and wait for many years again.

I've noticed that in exchanges, there are a lot of buyers of bitcoin but I can't blame them if they want to join the current hype but it's too late.

Yes I am still buying even though I am also expecting a form of a correction period anyday now.   I just wanted to spend my fist before I spend it on other things.
Hoping there wont be a correction until bitcoin is priced at 50k but lets be honest we dont know for sure what will happen.  Im still expecting one.
