Something I thought would be awesome for altcoins in general. Instead of an exchange like all the other generic exchanges out there what about a website that is something like Pokerstars.net or one of those other higher quality texas holdem site. You create an account, and like the exchanges you have a balance tab where you can deposit any amount of any different types of coins, then you go find a poker table where others are gambling a specific coin you are gambling. The site gets something like 0.1% of table winnings and charges 0.3% on withdrawals. While you are waiting for a game to start if by chance the coin you want to play texas holdem with is not too popular there could be a lobby screen setup where you can chat and maybe waste a few coins in digital slot machines. The idea can be expanded from there, but I think its a cool one and Id be there all the time playing texas holdem. If i had the programming skills and time to develope it I would. There are two big standouts here, one it is for more then one type of altcoin and 2 right now they only coins you can play poker with other people with online are btc and ltc.

Excellent idea, again if i had the skill i would get one up and running, but i dont. So... If anyone out there could do something like this, i'm willing to pay a very big bounty for it!

★★ Important info ★★

HI All

Just been reading some crappy news over from Swisscex about a KGW exploit that is very real and seems to be in use.

http://t.co/CvY3BxNisH

As you all know KillerCoin is currently retargeting every block using the KGW method. But do you think i should remove the KGW implementation and go back to a sensible block retargeting. It is still possible to code the retargeting in to the wallet so that coins are created just as fast but to not have the retargeting every block. It is also possible to use a different method such as Digishield...

Most mining pools dont account for KGW in the coding, only for the original retargeting formulas. Thats why the next difficulty value in the pool statistics are never correct, and also why the difficulty value always seems so low.

The original KillerCoin (non KGW) retargetting formula is to create 60 blocks every 2 hours,

Code:
static const int64 nTargetTimespan = 2 * 60 * 60; // KillerCoin: 2hr target time
static const int64 nTargetSpacing = 120; // KillerCoin: seconds per block target
static const int64 nInterval = nTargetTimespan / nTargetSpacing; //Aim to produce 60x blocks every 2 hours

This can be changed to something more fitting, maybe 60x blocks every 1x hour? Currently the KillerCoin code with KGW produces a block every ~50 seconds on average.

Or should i implement Digisheild instead of KGW, after reading the summary over at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=526721.0 it could be a good next step for KillerCoin

Please vote in the pool, and leave comments to what you think is best.
Thanks

There is a problem with withdraws on ptopex and it needs to be fixed if you want your exchange to be successful.

Try it out for yourself. It bugs most of the time.

1) Implement 1 click to add btc amount to withdraw like cryptsy and mintpal.

2) Dont let the site add my email address as the wallet address

Good luck!
