The XRP price has been insanely unstable the last few weeks ever since the SEC lawsuit emerged. Prices dropped from $0.6 USD to almost $0.2 USD and ever since been fluctuating between $0.2 USD to $0.3 USD.
Would be a huge risk if you wish to invest in XRP right now since the future of XRP is unknown. If SEC proceeds with the lawsuit, pretty much sure the price is going to tank even more. I have read somewhere that it would make XRP totally useless since as no one will be able to trade it or something.

For a long time the price of Ripple remained under $1 until that debacle and I don't really see anything different happening, even after it is resolved. I hate to say this but that's the truth — XRP isn't the type of crypto investment that can easily give anyone a good ROI. Price hardly moves.

It's dumped again right now. There's no reason to buy this coin for long term investment. The ripple price can go down anytime and the sentiment of ripple will always come from the any news that will be released by SEC.
You must be careful with this coin as the latest pump could be a dead cat bounce as the whales was trying to attract people to get into the ripple market again.

Everyone is free to have their opinion in this forum, because in fact everyone wants to have further discussions on everything they know, including the XRP token, which is being discussed a lot at the moment.

For now, there is nothing really to discuss with XRP until there is something new from SEC about the lawsuit against ripple. If anything, there would have been articles already about XRP on news sites. Given that XRP is a top currency, everyone is still on the look out for something new and ready to dive in whenever there is a development of the suit. It did pump up to $0.32 though, after the dip from $0.24, that's still a big profit if someone just bought at the bbottom.

It is tough to say what will happen in the next movement of XRP after the SEC issue in Ripple. Surprisingly, XRP's price survives that it didn't go down to zero because there are still a few people who continue to hold their XRP and still believe in Ripple so that XRP can recover its value after it resolves its issue in SEC.

Ripple had a highly manipulative week. Seems like a large bull trap to me. I don't think Ripple would be able to maintain this price unless they settle the issues out and gets relisted on popular exchanges. Not being able to trade on US based exchange is not the end but they'll miss a large manipulative market. If I were to buy, I'd wait for them to fall below 20 cents.

Now the price of ripple is at the level of 0.32 dollars and it is unlikely to seriously fall. Ripple's executives have announced that they are entering negotiations with the SEC. This means that they agree to pay the penalties. The SEC, in fact, is doing this. If the fine is paid, then ripple will be restored on the exchanges and will be able to develop further. However, the awareness that centralized cryptocurrency can be easily misused will remain.

That is exactly why nobody should invest to it, that is exactly why nobody should have invested to it ever in history. It is a company ruled coin, why would anyone trust a company? How do you know one day they won't say "we are dumping all our coins and cutting all our ties with xrp, it will be a dead project" and leave? How can you know that? Maybe they will do it? At that point each xrp will worth less than 1 cent and people will cry about it and call them scammers and there will be a lot of lawsuits and they will run to Bahamas or something with tens of billions of dollars and never have to deal with anything else.

Finally, we are talking about Ripple here and not XRP, and ripple is managed by people, and as long as a currency is not decentralized enough, I do not suggest anyone to put money into it, if you want to make money there are tons of other ones.
