Profits will depend  on how you do actively deal up  with the market this isnt something that you can make out on a  steady or fixed profit when you do just simply hold and wait for the  price to  increase into that level.
Both does have advantages though but if  you do really  talk  about  profitability then nothing beats out with  trading.As  long you  do  know to deal with prices then it is always on the advantageous side.
You can earn more than on what you  do anticipate or expect but well this isnt something that everyone can do because trading was never an easy thing for you to deal off and this will be taking lots of

It actually depends on what product/project you are going to invest in and you are going to trade in. Actually all cryptocurrencies in my opinion are good for trades specially big cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin or Ethereum as you know how volatile these two are nowadays and there are lot of altcoins too which will give you loads of earning when you do swing trades on it, the bigger the volatility is the higher return that it has.

However on investing, I think you should choose the cryptocurrencies which has a good background, long term goals and really good developments (roadmap and whitepaper included) on it as you will be letting and trusting your money on it for a long time on it. Bitcoin is the most common one when it comes to holding as its price starts to move for years and not weeks but nowadays we know how active it is right now which makes me trade it most of the time too.

Trading works for those experienced ones that have understood the concepts of investing.

It's either you invest or trade as long as you're making profits from both of it or you're good with the other, stick with the plan on which you can make good profits.

You may not be a good investor but a good trader or vice versa or be good at the same time.  

I think that someone that has mastered the principles of the market can do whatever out of the two, at the end it is going to depend on their own preferences, there are some that like the adrenaline they get when they trade the markets and that is the option they are going to choose but there are others that just want to get more money while they are sleeping without doing much and for those people investing is by far the best choice as they can just buy bitcoin and forget it about it.

You need skills to succeed in both.

Trading is more rewarding, but it's 'active'. You have to follow news, indicators, and so on daily.

On the other hand, investing is more passive after the initial due diligence where to put the money. I prefer dividend-paying stocks.

I am being compelled to agree with those who choose trading. My actual difficulty with trading is that just as it can make you smile within a very short time, it can also destroy your mode very well. So being so emotional, I would choose, investment.

It is important to choose whatever fits you not only in therm of profits but also in terms of who you are, some people never think about this but what you do must fit your personality or you are never going to be as good at that activity than the rest, trading is so hard already even if it is an activity that fits you that the work ethic that you will need to make it work when it does not fit you is simply off the charts, if you know that you are too emotional when you trade then that is a good moment to reevaluate if trading is really for you and try to become an investor instead.

It requires more patience in investing, you will not hold it for weeks or months, sometimes it takes years before you may sell it, there's no guarantee that your coin may be pump not unless it has a good team, solid papers and plans if they do it will be a good for future holding and will give you so much money than holding it for a short period of time only. Trading is also risky but if you really want to earn in a faster way try to trade those top coins but be careful not to be left out, make sure you read the news before buying something.

Trading really has an advantage over investing. Trading is short-term so you can earn on a daily or weekly basis when you're already at profit, unlike when investing there is uncertainty if you will get your expected profit in the future. If your income is not that big then an emergency happens, long-term investing is not good especially if the price is lower than the price when you invested. You will be forced to sell it at loss. Trading is better for me if your income is not that big, the profit from it can provide you extra income.

It depends what investment you are going to dig in and the same with what you are going to trade! both are good but it depends on how good you are on both... You can do invest but make sure that its something that will not fall in time but IMO trading is better, giving you fast profit unlike with investing

I do have the same insights too when it comes to compare trading and investing. Trading and investing both has a risk to take but knowing that by trading you did it daily which also means that you are dealing with emotional aspects, dealing with the market actively and time spent each day. However, by investment you are expecting for a fix ROI and of course it would take time for you to find out if your capital did expand or not, in short it is a long term investment.

Well, honestly trading and investing shouldn't be compared cus this are two different thing and different skills as well, some peopleare very good with trading and they tend to make alot of money through it, some other people who are not really good at trading finds themselves very good at investing, and they always know how to chose the right project to invest in there by making alot of money also, so whether trading is good over investing or investing pays more over trading, depends on which an individual is good at.

If you know how to play within the markets then trading is a quick buck for you but if you're more of a long term guy then investing is the way to go. IMHO anything other than bitcoin is for trading. Buying bitcoin is for investing in the long run.

Actually people often separate trading and investing but I have always seen both the aspects together because investing and divesting are the two most crucial aspects of trading since the best time to buy is investing and the best time to sell is divesting.

One who has the skill and sharpness when to buy should invest and one who has both the skills of when to buy and when to sell should always go for trading because like even you mentioned, trading has more frequent profits while investing yields huge profits but require more time and patience which are only possible if you have enough financial stability.

Questioning about which one is better? You are probably asking yourself as well if what a thing can make you feel comfortable either stressing yourself or just waiting when the market pump?

What makes you feel comfortable and how you react to market crashing because as an investor the biggest problem people face is how to keep cool during the bearish runs. Its easy to hold and invest when the market is moving up but people sweat and panic when the market crashes. If you have the ability to remain cool and composed during market crashes but at the same time know that its only temporary because holding some coins for too long during crash might be equally foolish.

I am a trader and I never tried to invest for too long since I need that money to rotate and generate more profits. People like the Michael J. Saylor can invest because they have big capital but not everyone has that much money so that is why there are more traders than long term investors in the market.

If you have the right knowledge about trading, then of course it is possible to do something good from trading.Because, in any business, it is not right to make a decision without good knowledge or experience.However, investing is required for trading.Now if you want to make a profit in a short time, you can trade, but you may not make a profit from trading every day because not all days are the same for traders,other hand if you want to make a profit by waiting a long time, I think it makes sense to invest.I think all the veterans will give you the same advice.

This highly depends on your skill and experience as a trader.

Remember that in investing, people would usually purchase BTCs and let it sit either for short or long-term depending on its price on the market. On the other hand, trading involves a more technical and complex approach as you are playing with the market. I read an article before that 97% of the short-term traders lose money on the first month of trading, so you better be careful which approach you should focus on.

Personally, since I do not have that time, experience, and skill to trade, I would prefer to purchase and invest btcs and to HODL them for the time being.
