Well, it is relative, the market speculators are aware of every movement of the market, they can win in any direction, if the price goes down they win by going down and if they go up too, but it is only when they manage to hunt the movements, they often make mistakes, sometimes they trust each other and they also have losses, which is normal.

Nice way of making out some comparison on your own if you dont really believe on others words or feedbacks then you can always make your own step and verify if its

Honestly, i do consider trading as an investment but it do only differs on the duration and the risk you are putting with the market.They might have difference
but on general sense they are just the same.

Trading consists of patience but the term is decided by us but in investing, it is decided by the person or company you invest on. In trading, a trader is a boss of his own where in an investment, your investment will be. In trading, decision is ours and daily returns are possible whether profit or loss while in investments, decision is made by the person/company and whatever the outcome is, we need to take it as it is.

Depends on if you're good at trading or not. If not then no you can make a loss too and more people might make a loss than a gain unless you're doing some "proper" analysis of what you're doing.

But don't expect a lot from just simply earning many times.
It is small in portions because volatility of the market doesn't go more than 2x of your capital.
And not everybody is a fan of looking all day at TAs, Bollinger Band, RSI and and sorts of indicator you can think of.

How do I mean let's say a trader who has   0.5btc if he decides to trade he would be making reasonable  profits if his analysis  goes in the direction  of the trade and if it doesn't he would record some losses and still get the value for the current price of his coin. But for an investor with same capital he only holds his coin patiently waiting  for a rise in price and makes good profit without any loss except if the coin experience  a drop in price.

For me a trader makes profit in both ways since he trades with an exchange he profits both as a trader and an investor

They are both found to be risky and it all becomes profitable if we are lucky enough. The only thing I can see that trading has the advantage over trading is that you can make money in a shorter time and even during the bear season which it makes hard when you are just holding it. And were right, losses have also close when you are trading as the disadvantage.
Well, patience could be applied both but holding needed it more. You can't hold longer times if you don't have this...makes some investors sold their coins, not in a good price.

Trading is rewarding in a short term to medium term period.  When you trade profitably , you may be tempted not to invest for long term period. The interesting thing about investing with a mindset of holding long term is that, the result of profitability seriously outweigh whatever may be gotten in a short to medium term!

well, it seems that trading is just basically a term they should also invest in, Buy and hold the same principle as investment. I will point out that cryptocurrency trading leads more to investment.

If we're investing we should also know that the price might go down and up. I don't prefer investing when the price is at the top even it's for long-term. I suggest they wait for the big dip and market correction before investing. You can buy cheaper price and you can have more tokens if you wait for the right time to buy. Well, actually you are right, it is all depends on what people expertise in. If can analyze, it is better to pick trading because it can really help and not waste what that trader's skill. Although investing (holding in my mind) need analysis too because we can't only buy any coins carelessly and hold without know it's fundamental.

We seem to be a bit biased in our method of comparison as to if trading is better than investing. From what I've seen so far, majority of the concerns is filocused on the marginal gain or profit from the two being considered mean while, there is another way to look at it. That is, using the risk element as a factor.

Definitely, they both come with some amount of risk and depending on the type of investment one might come with a greater amount of risk than the other. Here we are talking about cryptos and so, we would base our discussions as such. Which offers more risk than the other and then, if its to note, the greater risk comes greater reward.

For me, trading comes with greater risk and as such, its got greater reward but that, doesn't make it safe.
Incesting in the other hand comes with moderate risk and the rewards ratio varies a lot mean while, it could be relatively safe.

- In the opportunity will be the risk, that is what we can know about the full time option for a trader, we can compare the number of traders who can win and the traders who are lamenting the big crashes, there seems to be very few sane people, full time with no extra harvest, that just sows pressure. Investing is not a quick solution for speed, it is a way to challenge and fight psychologically with the market, ignore the market's thinking, sometimes the harvest will be better than normal trading.

I agree, both sides have their advantages but if you do have enough money to invest splitting between or allocating funds for both long and short-term is the best action to take.

You can split between day trading and long-term investing, it's  a matter of how good your knowledge within this venue of investment.
