it depends on how we manage it. if we can do trading correctly then it will also make a profit faster. trading and investing are different things where if you want to make a profit faster then you can choose trading. but remember, in trading we must be able to choose coins that are really good and have the potential to rise in the near future so that we can make a profit. besides that we also have to look at the crypto market more often so that we know when to sell the assets we have because the principle of trading itself is buy and sell, while investing is buy and hold.

Off course it pays more than trading but depending on the some factors, your trading strategies matters a lot, how you can take entry in some coin to buy and want to invest in that coin? I think if you know how to trade, then of course trading is better than investing. After all, when investing, this is frozen money and you can wait for months or even years for your profit and in the trade every day real money, and if you know how to trade, then it is not small.

In my own opinion, trading has an advantage if you win and get profits most of the time. However for me, it’s much more riskier than being an investor or long-term holder. You can win small amounts everyday for doing day trading, but it really depends on how skilled you are in looking at the charts, learning techniques, etc. However, it’s just that you’re spending more time in that than other things that can give you quality life. More over in cryptocurrency market, investing is much more important to secure our future because trading in cryptocurrecy the risk is overly high because a coins could drops more than 50% in a minutes when it has a bad news and takes years to recover or even some coins won't back to it's all time high anymore after the crash.
So the risk management and money allocating is really important, make sure more than 70% goes to investing and it's okay to use the rest for trading.
