Which is better, ether or bitcoin?

If you ask both bitcoin and ethereum, of course, it's better to divide your money to buy both. Bitcoin and ethereum have a big advantage in an investment. you can get many benefits. I myself have also invested in both. Currently, the price of Ethereum has increased significantly since it was able to break through 2018. both are very good for now. the choice depends on the money you have. personally I would choose ethereum for times like this. it's just that, the price is still too high for me, so, I need to wait for a cheaper price than this. So far, I am still trying to collect both coins through cheaper altcoins.

Right now the right choice would be at BTC. Considering the massive growth that both crypto has shown in the past, Bitcoin shows more resilience. ETH sure has been pretty good on its own. Volumes sure has been massive for ETH with the help of DeFi actually and ETH 2.0 hype. All in all, I would still choose BTC over ETH.

Both of them are good but it depends on your purpose we all know that Bitcoin is better than Ethereum,
But there are times that other crypto would be better than Bitcoin specially in short time investment we could see some alt-coin that could be better to buy in order to gain more profit than Bitcoin.

It should be BTC. There is no other fair blockchain than BTC now that we can be assure that there is a way for transaction fee to be lesser compare to what you can do with ETH.

Sorry for ETH supporter, I do have eth as well. But its platform is just not making everyone get to have a chance. Only allowing users with 32ETH to participate in staking, seem to be like the richer gets more richer system.

Eth transaction fee is a pain in the ass, honestly it's just like its only the rich people are ones who are able to transact with Ethereum during the day-time, while those who don't have much have to wait till midnight to be able to do any transaction with eth and some times even at midnight the cost for each transaction is still about $5, which is still high compared to back then when it was just ~$0.1 for per transaction, bitcoin is undoubtedly way better than eth.

I will prefer bitcoin as i am holding and lot of expectations from this coin. However Eth is not a bad choice. Bkth coin have great values. 100$ is not a big investment and hope you will get profit from both

I don't think so for both. because now the price of both coins has reached its highest point. So my advice is to immediately choose another altcoin if you want to invest in crypto because there are so many potential altcoins that will give us bigger profits. but if I had to choose between ethereum and bitcoin then I would choose Bitcoin.

Its better to invest Bitcoin at the moment, because you can move your investment cheaper to the safest wallet you have if you expect to have longer investment term.
If you invest to Ether, your investment will be much deducted caused by high gas fee issue.

Both are better from there own site. But if you want tp choose 1 then i have to add some point like.

-Bitcoin is already in higest values coin an average investor can't buy a whole bitcoin.
-Ethereum price is not that much high so its a friendly choice for an average investor.
-Bitcoin is world most popular coin for its maket volume.
-Ethereum is 2nd most popular coin.
-Both are from its own blockchain.
-Anyone can creat a token or coin in ethereum network which makes a negative effect on Ethereum blockchain network. That is why we also has to face a highest transaction gas fee.
-Both project has a full trust of users.

So if we compared each other then we can't beat anyone because both are king and Queen for our crypto kingdom. In my choice i loved both project.

If you see the price going up and you stop investing into them that means you are going to make it stop going up so it will be a self-fulfilling prophecy itself by doing that. Do not think that just because it went up it doesn't mean that it will never go up even further, it will definitely go up and continue to go up, that is just how it works and I think it is quite important that we keep investing into bitcoin and ethereum so that they could go even higher.

Price of ethereum went above the ATH but dropped to 1300 dollars later on and now it is a lot higher, looking like 2k is not that far away now which means even though it was quite high, people still invested into it. Price of bitcoin went to 40k, but dropped as much as 29k, it also went higher later on and nothing really big happened and it went up again to near 40k levels as well. Which means you should not stop just because they are higher now.

It is wiser to choose both but Eth comes after bitcoin. You're right about the development in defi but that's still no match for the whole market cap of bitcoin even with many of those millions on defis combined, it's still bitcoin.
But no need for any debate, just take the both of it for the sake of your better portfolio.

Both are equally good. why should choose which one is better. the basic concept between bitcoin and ethereum is different. you have to understand that. If you are interested in investing in both I recommend buying both. when the trend changes, bitcoin and ethereum bulls will experience an equal increase , However, currently Ethereum is having problems with transactions where the fees are quite high

It is true he should learn on how to split his money when it comes of investment the more eggs he lays on the more chicken he will harvest soon. if his trying to compare both and which people choose between that different coin then his having doubt which is which. I would stick with Bitcoin. First of all because its popularity. Ask any person, that is far away from cryptocurrency and he will name Bitcoin as the only cryptocurrency. That it why its opportunities are much higher. Second - its ability to grow in price. During last few years, its ATH doubled two times, while Ethereum ATH increased only for 20% from previous top price. Thirdly - Ethereum has a growing avalanche of problems, called transaction fees and updates being postponed.
