In my opinion, if I have the choice, i would prefer eth over bitcoin. I don't know why but looks like the appreciation factor of eth at the moment is better than btc.

yes, another reason may be that the price of ETH is cheaper than BTC. I mean that not everyone can buy BTC at a high selling price, although you can buy BTC in fractions. but still ETH and BTC are both very profitable for long term investment.

What do people think? Is it better to invest, say, 100 dollars in ether or bitcoin?
If we evaluate it from the point of view of significance, it is better to invest in BTC, since it is BTC that is being talked about everywhere and now many large companies and even banks want to become owners of BTC. As for ETH, it is likely that this cryptocurrency is also good and has more application, but if we are talking about long-term investments and maximum profits, then it is best to invest in BTC, ETH in this case costs less than BTC and as a crypto asset it can perfectly suit investors with small capital.

If you want to invest in ethereum or bitcoin it is too late. Because the price has reached a high figure. But if you want to invest I have advice on ethereum only. Because ethereum has indeed reached a high price but has not yet reached its peak. So that you still have the opportunity to buy it

to be honest, I don't understand why people still ask this question. if comparing which one is better or which one will give you the better advantage then both are very good. but for me personally choosing both is the best. Bitcoin and eth are the top cryptoqurrencies in the market and are very profitable for investing.
With such limited capital, they choose to ask questions like this for them to have a better choice on their own. Having both is the best but if they can't do that because of lacking of capital, they only have to choose one from it. It depends to the priority but most of us would choose bitcoin and I've seen people that don't like bitcoin because of a very simple reason, they all say the same thing about it being expensive. When in fact that you can buy it in fractions. 100 dollars is such a low amount of capital right now that I do not think that is even enough to invest in a single one of those coins, the person in question will have to accept the fact that if he buys any of those two coins and then he decides to move those coins out of the exchange the fees that he's going to need to pay are way too high and most likely will lose 10% or even 20% of his money just on that transaction alone and that is a handicap that no trader or investor can overcome.

You must be joking, or you don't know much about investing and ROI. It doesn't matter how much 1 coin costs. Your profit depends on your investment. 1000 dollars put in Bitcoin is 1000 dollars in bitcoin and 1000 invested in Ethereum is 1000 in Ethereum. When each of these coins gain 10% you will have 100 dollars more.

Both Bitcoin and Eth are good coins and they are currently leading the crypto market, investing in any of them can bring you high returns. However, if you only invest $ 100 I think you should invest in some new and cheap money in the market. It may be risky, but if it succeeds it will bring a good return.
If indeed we have a large amount of capital, I think there is nothing wrong with investing in both, but after all it comes down to each person's decision too, or we also invest in other altcoins which are cheaper as you said, and before investing in a new coin make sure we have to research it first

Both is better to be invested in. Bitcoin is a very long term coin likewise eth. But it all depends on what you want
I agree that they're both good for long term holding. As we see, these two are always the best gainers although some altcoins could outperform them but those alts won't last with their gains. While these two, if they're in the bull run, it could last for a long time just like what it's doing today. All the two are great investment both Ethereum and Bitcoin but personally I will go with Bitcoin because of generally it is what drives the market and all the other altcoins.Especially now that we are in a bull run it is much better to have it than any other coin.
If you don't have to diversify, bitcoin is the greatest choice of them all. But it's also nice to have these two on your portfolio at the same time.

Splitting it between the two makes no sense, since the money you are investing is not much. For me, if I had 100 dollars to invest in any cryptocurrency, I would simply put it all into Bitcoin. Yes, the amount might be small, but can you imagine what it will be like in the months to come?
Buy bitcoin with that money and keep it, and you will not regret it. If you keep getting a little extra cash, keep purchasing bitcoin with it. There will be a time when the price of Bitcoin will be too huge for common to purchase, don't be left out now.

If you want to invest in a crypto coin, I think you should invest your money in BTC because experienced traders believe in BTC, they believe BTC will reach $100k end of 2021. On the other side, ETH is a baby compared to BTC though Eth has its own future for sure, in my opinion they are both worth investing your money in crypto world .

I personally recommended Bitcoin(BTC) rather than Ethereum(ETC) because Bitcoin is the main founder of the crypto field. If anyone says that Ethereum(ETH) will takeovers against so that's is impossible So that's the reason BTC are better than ETH. I like to invest in BTC because it will soon reach to 400k$ in near future.

If you only have $ 100 in capital then choose the one that is suitable for the long term, namely Bitcoin even though Ethereum is also suitable for the long term but if you only have that much capital, then just put it in bitcoin, I think it's better. Both is better to be invested in. Bitcoin is a very long term coin likewise eth. But it all depends on what you want
Yes, both are good to invest in, but Bitcoin is more suitable for the long term because the jump is bigger than Ethereum tokens, according to the analysis and what I have seen.

ethereum and bitcoin are two types of coins that have different functions and are both good coins that are timeless, but I prefer ethereum to bitcoin, because in my opinion the function of ethereum is greater than bitcoin

Bitcoin and Ethereum are the best coins for investment and the majority of crypto users are competing to invest there. On a $ 100 a budget you should choose Ethereum, because so far Ethereum has not reached its ATH and is likely to increase again. With a small budget, you should invest in a short-time, because the potential for a profit are much greater than you invest in the long-term.

Bitcoin is the king of all coins and ether is the queen of all coins. Both of the best coins. If you want to invest check both coin prices then invest. Both coin price is any time to up and down. So before invest check the price every time. It best investment for the safety of your future growth. Ether is also the best coin for investment. So time to invest the coins.

In my opinion, if you have 100 dollars it is better to invest and share on ethereum and bitcoin because you can get profit on both, especially the price movements of bitcoin and ethereum are very significant.

Are you sure about that? who said ETH hasn't reached its ATH yet? You can see for yourself the price chart for Eth at the beginning of the year 13/01/2018 reached $1,380 and the current price Eth is $1,915 = 18/02/2021. I think Ethereum has shown its exit value again, and has hit a new ATH. and even I am personally very optimistic that Eth still has a big chance of hitting the $2k price in the near future.

At the moment both of the coins are exceptional for investment purpose. ETH pump is on the card and the price will go past $2.5k in coming weeks, on the other hand BTC price might test $60k in near term, so for profit making both are excellent choices.
