So it make sense for him and his team to accept this kind of fights. Besides, if I'm not mistaken, the money his going to get, the portion will go to the Covid-19, to the people of the Philippines who have been affected, so this is a win-win fight for Manny.

I guess it will be that way.

There are a lot of boxers thay wanted to fight Pacquiao but I don't know what will happen in the next few years since he is closing to his retirement. For now, I would also dedicate my fight to my fans but also maybe to ewrn money for them as we are all needing it in these times.

And as of the majority of those comments, people are in favor of Manny Pacquiao as he has the experienced and skills of a pro boxer, while McGregor, although is young, is not that experienced with boxing.

This is just only for entertainment , if Pacman will get serious about the fight I think Connor will be retiring on both sports and just focus on his liquor business, Connor should focus on MMA, his skills are for that game and not boxing, although he earns money from doing that, it will be just a waste if you will not use skills given by God for that game, Pacman, on the other hand, should retire after few fights now,  he already proves he's one of the greatest.

Indeed. Both Manny Pacquiao and Connor McGreggor are doing this for entertainment. They already know that they are great fighters in their young and adult days, so I think they don't need to come up with a fight and focus on a retirement career. But this fight is exciting, that many people cannot wait for them to see them fight.

Both can still fight though, although they are semi-retired, they are willing to do one last dance for the sake of money. Conor needs to win next week, then we can talk about this fight after that. I thought that Manny Pacquaio is not interested, but recently a lot of noise in the media is coming out, I'm a bit disappointed though to Manny if he accepted, because he is just following Floyd's footstep now, no serious boxing, but accepting fights for pure entertainment and money.

They are not gladiators or slaves, they are fighting to make money and if they are able to make a huge amount of money then so it be. If you do not like these kind of spectacle you can avoid the fight but the fact remains that it is one of the biggest earning fight in the history of combat sport.

You are not following the news, Manny Pacquiao already showed interest to fight Conor McGregor and the only hurdle is Dana White and the UFC as he is signed with them and if the fight is to happen Conor McGregor needs the permission from the UFC.

How about the promoters who took the interest away from the fans by not giving us the fight we wanted. You do not have problem but you have problem if someone is making a huge amount of money with a single fight and let Manny retire for good after this fight.

There are a lot of users from the Philippines here and obviously they are going to support their national hero. On the other hand, Conor McGregor hails from Ireland and his fans are not that visible. 4-5 years ago, Pacquiao was in his prime form and any match against McGregor would have been a cakewalk for him. But those days are long gone, and now he is hardly active in boxing.

Got some point. Pacquiao is no longer on his prime and age gap also have factor from this possible fight,
McGregor already went inside the ring fighting against Mayweather.

Though the chance is really slim for him to win against Mayweathr but the fight take place collecting money
from the fans from both boxing and MMA.

I think it will be an interesting fight not because of how inexperienced McGregor is in terms of boxing but in terms of how he will be using his strong punches against Pacquiao. As Floyd find timings to hit his punches, Manny creates opportunities to land his punches which means we might see good combinations from Pacquiao and great throws of punches to both of them.

I disagree with Manny's retirement as people still want to see a rematch of Pacquiao and Mayweather.

I grew up watching boxing with my father. I remember, we used to watch the fights of Manny Pacquiao while celebrating at the house of our relatives and hosting a mini-party to such event. As much as I really look forward for the his upcoming fights, this is one of those fights that you would have a hunch that this is going to be Pacquiao's win.

In a business perspective, both fighters would walk away happy with their respective bank accounts rolling. In terms of entertainment, well this will not be as entertaining compared to the other fights of Pacquiao but I still hope that this would happen.

The reason on why Pacquiao entered into the boxing world is due to his dire need of cash. In my honest opinion, this is one of those fights that gives him relatively 'easy' cash in his pocket so I do not see any reason not to pursue this fight.

This maybe the very good fight and at the same time the hardest fighting event for Manny Pacquiao,
His opponent McGregor is very different than the other opponents He fought before. I am hoping that He could win this

I’m not that excited for this match if ever, because I know this is just for pure money and still Manny will win the match so technically, this can be a sure profit for the bettors. If both fighters want it they can have it no matter how busier their schedules are. This is one of the fight that most people are waiting for to happen and if they told us it will happen this year, I believe in them as long there's a chance they will fight inside the ring. They probably both realized there’s no point in fighting with each other. They only get more money working together.
