I don't even know, in this situation I probably would not risk calling CCwatcher420's all-in. Having a set against the likelihood of seeing a flush or a full house ... Anyway, CCwatcher420 has a pretty lively playstyle today.

I don't even know, in this situation I probably would not risk calling CCwatcher420's all-in. Having a set against the likelihood of seeing a flush or a full house ...

It was a bad call indeed but it happened and this is what makes poker interesting.

I was going to fold after CCwatcher raised 3 bb at the flop which is over 50% of the pot. This is way too big if he only had flush draw because it was a risky bet if you only have a flush draw. After the 3 bb raised, I concluded that he might have an overpair probably QQ KK AA or he might have something like A9 but the moment that other 9 pop out at the turn, I thought my hand is good

He might still have A9 but yeah I thought I was good . It was indeed a nasty cooler but oh well , lesson learnt. Better luck next week

First off, who the hell raises with a flush draw? IKR. That was my first mistake, but it could be not fatal if I folded after the reraising. Yet I decided to gamble. I knew CCwatcher had something, but I was hoping to beat him with a flush, the probability of which was around 50%. So, at the moment I was treating poker as a purely luck based game ...



Apparently it was a mistake.

"Try to not gamble with your whole stack!"- that's my note to myself from yesterday's game.

It was a mistake indeed but idk, I made a fatal mistake as well so yeah. IMO, You could have checked instead and call the raise to decide wether you will call the next bet on the turn in case if he bet but oh well I guess CCwatcher420 was really lucky yesterday. He got two monster stack from me and you with a set , that was damn lucky .

This isn't a mistake, but your post flop play does need work. We were flipping but say you hit your flush, it would still be 75/25 dog.

Was a fun game all. I do like Betnomi, but probably should look for an alternative.

Betwrong, now we are in the same boat with 22 points, and I think we need to row faster considering that Arallmuus is 1 point ahead of us.

Good game, but the main things which prevented me from fully focusing on the game - is table design.  (as i see it can be changed to be at least more friendly looking)
SwC has much better one playing rooms. But anyway, was not bad game

Anyway, Betnomi has a pretty wide range of customization options, just take a few minutes.

Lol this is a nice sarcasm but that turn card cost me everything. I would have fold in the turn even if J appear on the board because I was suspicious from the flop about his betsizing but 9 appeared and that ruined my initial plan  . All four 9s appeared on the board and play hand, stuff happened but no worry I will be taking the ITM spot next week lol

Design wise, swc is better but swc's blind structure sucks. Most player will be in short stacks after the first break forcing them to shove. Its more like a 'gamble' instead of poker tbh ( personal opinion )

That's right, and in any case risking my whole stack when 6 players out of 7 were still playing wasn't a good idea. Was waiting for 2 weeks for this game, and then finished so early.

Nope. I woke up about 2 hours or so after the game started. Was crazy tired so I likely just shut it off before fully waking up. Should be on this weekend, I'm at work but nothing big planned as of yet. Then I believe I'm free the next few weekends, not sure about how the finals weekend works out now with all these missed weeks, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there.

On Betnomi games are more smooth, this is true.
Anyway, game was not bad. Without a lot thrilling moments (at least for me, there was not too much "fat" combos) but with some kind of fun.
