I wasn't upset either. After seeing all the cards I knew I would lose under any scenario. Say, we weren't all-in from the start, wouldn't I call all-in when I rivered a flush, Ace high, with King in my pocket? Of course I would. I only get upset when I see, retrospectively, that I could play my hand better. In that particular case, there was nothing I could do better.

I agree about the "retrospective"... but also, for example, I know ahead of time that giving away can upset me, and yet I still make a mistake. Namely, before the flop, I subconsciously know that I will not defend some combinations of cards if the flop does not work, and because of this, I constantly lose a pretty decent amount of chips.

I know what you are talking about because this is how I play too. I call it a "new school", as opposed to Daniel Negreanu, Phil Ivey, Tom Dwan and the likes, who are "old school".

The key here is to not be upset by the fact that you are constantly losing chips, descending further down in the leaderboard. It's not that easy to stay calm, when you see those bluffers taking the top positions, while you are fluctuating somewhere close to the bottom. ... Well, You know as well as I do, that this strategy pays off in the end more often than not.

I should have folded that A9s hand, I was kinda tilted because I keep on folding for an hour ( probably close to 45 minutes or so ). I keep on getting those silly hands such as 47o on early position , 2Jo early position as well ( alot more and I cant remember most of it lol ) and when I had A9s, I thought I would fold this hand from early position shove but not from BTN shove so yeah I called that

I was having some bad luck streak for all my flips this week so yeah I wasnt really surprised when I lose lol

IIRC you lose to Yahoo last week with KK as well. I cant remember it, either you or Betwrong lose the flip with KK

A few takeaways from today's session:

1. The client looks like coinpoker's but with better themes. For me this is not a problem.
2. I have had some problems with the site. I was accused of fabricating a failed deposit story. However, this has not impacted me being able to load up cash.
3. Different cryptos are good for deposits. I wish bovada was like this.
4. Tourney was very fun and welcoming. Will definitely be back.

Anyways, I did see nobody covered it on twitch. Maybe we need an active runner to do this.

That was some aggresive all in with 5 5 8 4 8 Board. Trayvon was in BB position he could have 8 or 5 on his hand and a Full House would win over flushes. I would personally call in this wet connecting board simply because Trayvon is in BB and Trayvon might still have the AX of heart combination for better flush though

With that hand you show, soon as 2 fives shows is a big full house risk. By the 4 there are also 2 flush draws.

Im always weary of the better flush if mine isn't that great!

I mean there is always the pocket pair sleeper to deal with occasionally.

Yeah you could still have 8 or 5 but it is less likely for someone to open with 8 or 5 on that position and more likely for someone in BB position to have 8 or 5. Probably someone would open with A5 but Full 5s lose to Full 8s so I still think that it is a risky all in but it is all good because it works in your favour  and im sure Trayvon had nothing in that hand ( probably 4X or A high )

The raise on the river was most likely blocker bet to show that he had something so the other player would most likely call instead of raise in that position

Seeing such a hand, you forget about mathematics, you forget about everything. The first thought that comes to you ... "what is the probability that someone has a pair of aces?" Subconsciously, I do not want to consider any cards as competitors to my pocket kings (preflop), that's the result. Btway, it's a pity we can't see the full statistics ... I would like to know the percentage of wins by positions, I think the button's position would be the undisputed leader.
