Wonder what the reason for the ban of betfair in Op country is... Or is bet fair just blocking countries that don't allow very risky bettings or gambling? If it's due to citizens safety then it's important to know how risky betfair is and probably consider other betting sites with very minimized  risk. But if betfair is safe and promotes responsible betting, then the ban may not be right.
Betting sites need to make their services as safe and useful as possible. The services shouldn't be harmful to customers, and they should try as much as possible to help customers understand that good benefits of their services, which should be way more than the disadvantages. I think the advantages (and small disadvantages) could help bettors  convince their governments to allow the services in their country. It will likely be hard to convince governments (govt that ban due to the huge risk) to accept risky services in their countries

You can use VPN, but make sure you read their terms of service. Since they updated it, and restricted users from your country, it would be a bad idea to play over there. With VPN, you maybe able to make deposits and withdraw, but once you trigger any security flag and they asks for documents, they will have no other option other than blocking you. They can confiscate your funds if they want. If they feel generous, they might return your initial deposit, but they will never return your profit. Make sure you know what you are about to do.

Why not just use something else? Even if you deposit successfully and Betfair finds out, you are screwed and you cannot help the situation since you broke terms of service.

Try Fairlay instead,,, maybe not as big in liquidity but you have a lot of markets and can create yourself too.

Just like what leea-1334 above me said, just choose an alternative site in which it operates to your place legally. Unless it's really not allowed by your government and it would be harder to do that or you might get fined or something. It's better to be safe than sorry. You will never know.

What I think about your situation is it's about registering again. Even though you have registered before, your info is in a country that's not allowed. Probably another account? But this might violate another rule again. Take care OP.

Its funny how this argument comes up again and again.
Betfair is not just some gambling site. Betfair is the biggest betting exchange there is.
You cant compare it to a regular bookie as the system is totally different.

Most "comparable" betting exchanges only have a small % of the liquidity most markets at betfair have.

But even how Big they are and popular and Best , Yet the problem is that they are banning some countries in which OP is on the list , If He will continue trying to Hide His Location or His IP address so the more he is risking the event.

and besides Even they are one of the biggest yet? there are others that can bring their Bets in reputable Bookies .

To finish the argument of VPN, this wont work, I know that for a fact.
You have to do KYC at Betfair. If your country gets banned and you move a to a new country you have to do KYC again.

I know that because I went through this. I am German national and from 2006-2010 played at betfair from Germany. Then they banned all German residents because of our betting tax bs. So I wasn't able to play anymore.

Meaning betfair had already running that Long ? damn this is such a Legendary Site .

2016 I moved to Japan and was able to reopen my account but had to prove I am actually living in Japan, so yet another KYC.

Just changing your IP wont do you any good. If they ban the country they ban all the players from that area unless he can prove he moved to a non banned territory.

So it is Better to create new account if ever you'll change country.

Why would still pursue to go back if you had been blocked or banned due to violation? Its just have no sense for you to go back again.
It would be better if you do just find for another site that doesnt really restrict out your country so that you wont really be having this kind
of problem or headache but if you do like to have more problems then proceed on since its your money after all but do expect
on what would be the circumstances that would lie ahead.

I have a betfair account for a few year, however, as some policy modified recently, I cannot deposit to betfair. It is being too difficult to deposit money to Betfair now in some banned counties,

First of all, once your country is restricted, don't expect a good gambling experience once they've detected that you are using VPN. You can gamble with so many platforms and bypassing the prohibition of Betfair would just give your problems sooner or later. Also, why would you mind playing in it while there are tons that might be accessible in your country? All I want to clear here is that your funds might be frozen once they detected your actions, which is way worse than just playing on other platform.

You are opening a loophole for some casinos not to allow your withdrawals in the future and this normally happens when you win a lot of money. They do not ask for KYC documents when you deposit at these casinos, but the moment when you win big and you want to withdraw funds from your account.. then they start asking for KYC documents.

They look the other way when you use VPN's to play and they also ignore KYC requirements when you deposit, but once you win big, they throw the KYC thing at you, because they know it is a loophole for them to have an excuse not to allow you to withdraw the funds.

From what I can see, the OP has not mentioned what country he is from. The available options will depend on where he resides. For example, if he is from the US, UK, France, Netherlands, Islamic countries, North Korea, and some others, he will find closed doors on many crypto casinos. That still does not justify cheating your way in due to the possibility of having your funds or winnings claimed by the site.

Sad to see source a large number of countries being restricted from using betfair platform, but what I really want to know is that is there any other gambling platform that is operating in this restricted countries?

Japan was banned until 2016 and then got new laws for gambling and since then they welcome players from Japan.

It seems OP now finds a better place to gamble and OP didn't reply back into this thread. It sounds really playing a flame, it may I guess burn out all of your money once the gamble sites detect that you are using VPN to bypass which country that you have restricted from gambling.

There are tons of gambling sites here and out there that obviously have the same games to gamble. Why risking your account on a site that already restricted your area. If Betfair will allow you to have a withdrawal even you are using VPN, that's good you are lucky enough.

I think many of us are aware of the rules of our country but we also know that enforcement is quite lax. If I and many thousands of players at this forum obey the laws of our country with digital currency we would not even be allowed to own any crypto.

BUT I agree, be as safe as possible and if a platform does not accept your nationality,,, no need for to push the issue and move on to another one. Many of the sites on this forum with ANN thread allow your country, if you just check.
