I would normally advise people to use dogecoin but seeing it outperforming every other crypto lately I start to regret my view on it. Apparently the coin everybody was laughing at made the most buck for the holders since the last year.

I do see that dogecoin's up surge is due to bitcoin's nature of slowly becoming a pure digital asset rather than being a payment system. I guess that you do not need to be regretting. Dogecoin must be the best option to gamble with. Fee for transacting in dogecoins is still 1 doge which is approximately 1100 satoshi must be cheaper these days.

I foresee like bitcoin will value in millions hence people will afraid to spend it which will make all other altcoins to replace bitcoins in gambling industry completely. People will rarely spend bitcoins which might not include gambling as well.

You might be right in the long run, so many institutions and rich individuals are buying up Bitcoin that any which becomes available will be hoarded by the few. Just like billionaires collect football clubs because they have nothing better to spend their money on (much like boats, which are a terrible money sink for most people), they will work to amass the biggest pool of Bitcoins so they can brag to their private country club friends. It is heading to one place really and other cryptocurrencies seem far better suited for these kind of low level transactions, even something like Dogecoin that has a circulation of around 128 billion it is much harder to corner the market and sway the price because it should be a lot more diluted with more owners.

So we can go all the way to satoshis and even beyond the satoshi because platforms can add decimal places in their internal calculations.

This is true and i dont know why other people cant see this key area that bitcoin can really be divided into smaller places so that wont really be an issue after all.

When it comes to value then this would be a personal choice or preference if they cant just afford to spend it up and just rather decide to save it on instead.

It depend on who and how a person's gambling habits are. If they don't care about transaction fee, then bitcoin and ethereum will still be used for gambling. The transaction fee don't really affect the whales' gambling habit, they will still use whatever bitcoin and altcoin they want. For some people, regardless of the current value of bitcoin, they will still think that 1 bitcoin = 1 bitcoin.

Altcoin that have low transaction fee are an option for most gambler with minimal capital, this will be of great help. So bitcoin will still continue to be used in gambling by those who never care about transaction fee in my opinion.

There are many gamblers who don't mind that fees, most of those whales who really playing are not caring about this they are capable on working on it without any problem.

For them it's just a slight percentage of their bankroll, and those whales are VIP's who also understand the risk, some might win and cash their money out without any problem with transaction fees.

Depends from types of gamblers, small to mid might aim for alternative coins while big fat whales will continue to proceed using Bitcoin.

That most reputable gambling site only accepts bitcoin makes it hard for users to take advantage of the low fees associated with XRP and the rest of other altcoins that issue low fees. But if you are playing in a site that accepts deposits in another crypto aside from Bitcoin then you should hold your BTC and gamble with other currencies with low fees.

To gamble with the altcoin that you prefer and has the less fee than transferring bitcoin. If you're lucky enough and you have those alts to use if you want to gamble.

Everyone has their own choice, we choose what we're comfortable with, and some choose altcoins to gamble. For me, I use both altcoins and bitcoin, depending on the market situation of course, but I believe in the long run I would be more focused on altcoins as it is cheaper and faster in terms of confirmation, and I would be able to just keep my bitcoin for a long term investment and gamble altcoins.

Imo people still care about the fees, you'll see users complain about it whenever casinos bump their fees to like $25-$50 per withdraw request but there are other options available aside from converting since not all casinos have a big fee like the others. Like i've said before in my other post these fee issue comes up from time to time and eventually there will be a casino that'll solve these fee issues without having to use another coin.

Imo people still care about the fees, you'll see users complain about it whenever casinos bump their fees to like $25-$50 per withdraw request but there are other options available aside from converting since not all casinos have a big fee like the others. Like i've said before in my other post these fee issue comes up from time to time and eventually there will be a casino that'll solve these fee issues without having to use another coin.

This will bring problems mostly during a bull run or there's congestion in the blockchain, it's normal if we have followed how the market works and we are active in crypto. We are even lucky now that we have a lot of gambling sites accepting altcoins, unlike in the past there are only limited number which are accepting altcoins.

Yes, the cryptocurrency market is now in an alternate season. 

Alternative cryptocurrency prices are rising faster than the bitcoin price.  However, in my opinion, this is a temporary situation, it will not always be so. 

The price of Bitcoin can rise faster than the prices of promising altcoins.  We saw this in December 2017, January 2021 and will see it in the future.  During corrections, the price of Bitcoin falls more slowly than the price of altcoins. 

Therefore, in the long term, Bitcoins are more "valuable" financial assets.

Making use of bitcoins in millibit or a microbit or even in satoshi or milli-satoshi got nothing to do with what we are discussing here. Yeah, how you are going to use a high value bitcoin got nothing to do with required fees to be added for depositing or withdrawing from a casino. Honestly I will not use bitcoins for my gambling if it starts valuing more than $100k levels.

Not just myself, many gamblers will start treating bitcoin as an asset then they will switch to different coin which might be having lower fees for transacting.

There will be no pint of continuing with bitcoin gambling when bitcoin values in million dollars and transaction fees are in hundreds of dollars.

Even if the bitcoin transaction fee decrease, with the high price of bitcoin price, that still not recommended to use bitcoin to gamble unless you have many bitcoins that you can use for anything you want. Many of us change our coins into altcoins instead of using bitcoin because they think that bitcoin is too worthy of being used for gamble. Besides that, the gambling website has many altcoins available on their site to use altcoin instead of bitcoin to gamble.

You will be confused if you will gamble and invest at the same time but you don't treat it separately.

Let's put it this way, I have 2 BTC, I decided to keep 1 BTC for investment and 1 BTC for gambling, or 1 BTC for trading and 1 BTC for gambling.
As a trader and gambler, I should treat my two purposes differently, I will trade, follow the trading strategy and when I'm gambling, I'll follow the gambling strategy.

The games over here in the cryptocurrency community are fun, but we shouldn't make irrational bets. We also have to admit that even though we are young, we need to make the right decisions. I also stopped gambling with bitcoin since a long time back itself; its massive prices was one reason but the primary reason was, I needed to include very high fees for my deposits and some times I was enforced to wait for more that 6 hours for the first confirmation to happen.

But leaving off bitcoin based gambling is not that simple for my case as well, because I've got practiced to calculate everything in terms bitcoin but suddenly getting into the new altcoins, certainly affected my way of gambling like I needed to set my base bet amount according to what I was doing with BTC. Sometimes BTC<->altcoin converters are not that handy while we are in gambling hype.

I think we need to pause and realize forever that bitcoin is an investment (as a means of payment, there are many other more convenient options). In my opinion, gambling with your investment is very stupid, since you (most likely) will lose, which means not just the loss of some funds now, but also the loss of potential profit in future.
